About: I have always had a dog for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and I love them. We currently have two dogs. I have a male Golden doodle named Bo and a female Teddy Bear named Annie. I like to walk the dogs for two 30 minute walks a day. I’m a stay at home, homeschooling mom. I have a 7 year old, 10 year old, 13 year old and 16 year old at home. Everyone loves dogs. We have a routine with the dogs and they are part of the family. I don’t have a fenced in yard but I am a firm believer that dogs need to be walked. I walk my dogs for 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon on a walking path behind my house. I keep jingle bells on my door and my dogs ring them to go outside to potty. I have options to separate dogs if necessary. Dogs are separated at feeding time.

About: I’ve been around dogs for years! My family, loved ones and neighbors all have counted on me for doggy duty throughout the years. I have done numerous amounts of dog sitting for all types of breeds so I figured I would bring my expertise to Rover. I recently got a silver lab puppy named Jax and he’s been the best dog ever. Since my last childhood Pitbull, Roxy (one out of three total dogs) passed away last July, it’s been difficult adjusting to life without them to share it with me. My schedule feels hollow and incomplete after having spent the last four years with two senior dogs. Those four years have given me experience waking up both late and early to tend to a pet’s many needs, and stay up as long as needed to ensure their safety and wellbeing. Living in a house of dog lovers, your pet(s) will be both well-cared for and showered with love all throughout their stay. 💕 Having our late girl’s passing so recent, we still have all the living necessities available for use if need be. This includes pet beds, food/water bowls, functional kennels, poop bags, and a couple toys. We adore our dogs, and are ready to cherish yours just as much before they return back into your loving arms. Petsitting will provide peace of mind for both me and my clients. Whether you’re away for a short or extended period, rest assured your pet(s) stay with us will be easygoing, well communicated, and overall an experience to remember! 😁 I’m currently hunting for a full-time position outside of Rover. When I eventually enter the workforce, petsitting will likely become a background gig I can no longer give my full attention to. I started working at a kennel at age 22 with tasks such as bathing, walking, training and playtime supervision. I was in charge of 15 dogs at a time. “We were near Fredricksburg for the the weekend and we wanted to go eat at the restaurant so we found Kindall; luckily she was only 4 minutes away from where we wanted to dine. We were able to drop him off , Kindall greeted us outside and Spider felt comfortable right away with her. We felt at eat ease leaving him for about 2 hours. We were able to enjoy our meal without having to rush and even went shopping after. Kindall kept us updated by sending us photos and communicating. We did not have to give her anything as she said she would give him her own treats. We will highly recommend and use Kindall in the future again, she was very sweet and patient with spider.”

About: My wife Sherry and I have had pets for the last 31 years of marriage. We know how important it is to find a responsible and trusting person to take care of your pets while you're away. We have one indoor/outdoor cat named Creature which is very friendly. We have a large back yard which is not fenced but we can take them out on a leash or tie them up on a lead an supervise them. Our property is secluded and is not close to a road so, there is no danger from traffic.

About: I have been taking care of dogs for 10 years, whether mine or those belonging to family. I have trained puppies as well as taken care of my dogs that have reached their golden years, and helped them over the rainbow bridge. My top two priorities are communication and safety. “Jessica was amazing! She walked my two dogs, a high strung chihuahua and elderly dog (14 y.o.), for 30min for 4 days. She reached out and asked if I wanted her to meet the dogs before walking them which was great. The chihuahua tends to bark his head off at strangers, and I wasn't sure how he'd react (he ended up running away from her the first day for 15min, sorry Jessica). The older dog had diarrhea throughout the house one day, and cleaning up after something like that isn't really what I consider her job. I told her she didn't need to worry about it, and I'd deal with it when I got back. However, she ended up cleaning up as much as she could anyways (that's going to be a big tip). Besides my dogs being a huge pain. She always responded quickly and sent a lot of pictures from the walks.”
About: I’ve had experiences not only taking care of my own animals but also watching my friends and families pets. I’m able to walk for however long a pet needs and I’m able to remember when a pet needs to be taken out or fed. I’m also able to adapt easily if the pet has any conditions or disabilities that I need to accommodate to. I’m always available at any time whether it’s mornings or nights. I may have trips but whenever I’m home, I’m always looking for something to do. I approach each visit with a safety-first mindset, taking care to secure doors, gates, and feeding areas, and to follow all instructions exactly as given. I’m attentive to subtle changes in behavior or environment and respond calmly and responsibly if anything seems out of the ordinary. My goal is to provide a steady, reliable presence so pets remain comfortable in their familiar surroundings and owners can feel confident knowing their home and animals are in careful hands.
About: I've been caring for dogs since I was young. I currently have four furry friends and it is a joy to be with them! I enjoy all activities that I do with them and try to make each one memorable! I am currently available for most if not all days of the week. (except when on vacation :) ). I usually get up pretty earlier, around 6/6:30 so if any early risers need some help, I'm your gal! Just reach out and we can find the times and days that work best for both of us! I will be able to watch out for your dogs and they are in safe hands. Whatever routine you want them on, I will uphold that to make sure our furry friend are not thrown into a funk!
About: I have plenty of availability this summer into late August. I have years of experience with difficult and/or large dogs as well. Open to any kind of animal. :) I’m currently on summer break from college, so I have plenty of availability to watch your pets! I’m extremely flexible, don’t hesitate to reach out. Whatever care you require for your pet, I will be able to fulfill. I don’t bring pets to my home as I have a senior dog, but I can 100% visit your home.
About: Since I was four years old, I’ve had plenty pets of my own (including cats, dogs, reptiles, and rodents). There’s nothing quite like seeing a pet loved and happy. I’d love to assist you with keeping them that way! I typically work evenings, but no later than 10:00. My dogs eat 3 times a day & are taken out shortly after for a few minutes of playtime. I have two French Bulldogs of my own (2 and 1 year[s] old) who love to go for walks on which I try to take them daily. I also have a Rottweiler & 2 calico cats!
About: I have pet sat for my Nextdoor neighbors for years and I have also had dogs my entire life and had to take care of them I work best in the early mornings and later afternoon on weekdays and almost anytime works on weekends I’m mostly flexible and available to be there for your pets I always make sure the pets are fed and have gone potty and I make sure that there are not to many things they can get into or on top of I also notify the owner immediately if I feel something isn’t right or if they is a problem with the pet of if I have a question
