About: I’ve had dogs in the home since I was a small child and host small dogs (under 20 pounds) in my home. I'm new to booking through Rover, but can supply references, if requested. I’m excited to open my door (and heart) to your pup for day visits or overnights. I have one super tough 6 pound Shihtzu-Chihuahua in the house so your pups must be friendly with other dogs. I also have experience with puppies and caring for senior dogs. I work from home so I'm at home all day and night during the week. On weekends, I'm never gone for more than 3- 4 hours at any one time. Most of the time, I'm home with the fur babies. I have a house with ample room to welcome up to 2 dogs (same owner) at a time. I have a fenced back yard area allowing for exercise and free roaming. I never leave pets outdoors unattended. Dog's will normally sleep in my bed with me, but totally fine if they prefer their own bed in my room.

“We left Bella, our 6 month old pit mix with her and she did absolutely amazing! We got daily pics and updates of Bella and she would always text back right away! Bella had so much fun and we will for sure be having Kristy dog-sit next time we go out of town! Thank you Kristy!!”

Founded a dog shelter in the Caribbean...rescued hundreds of Dogs and cats..left it running in capable hands and moved to USA. Experienced with many breeds of dogs and cats, love Golden Retrievers, Doodles, Yorkies, in fact ALL ..never met one I have not fallen in love with!! Pretty good with plants and am tidy by nature so will look after your home as well. I am retired, like to walk about 3 miles a day, tend to my garden and relax in the evenings with a pet ...I enjoy a calm life. I am home a lot of the day, but I walk about 3 miles every day and hope your dog (s) will enjoy an on leash walk. calm evenings relaxing in front of TV..
