They sent me photos during the day to let me know how my dogs were doing, which was great as I am a helicopter pet parent. What began as a last minute doggy day care issue became a blessing as I will always utilize Corey and Nyla in the future when visiting my brother in Alexandria. I should also mention that I have a bossy female toy poodle Lu and a mini Aussie puppy Finn. They are both well trained but get super excited being around new people and Finn needs mental and physical stimulation throughout the day. She has a really cute ground level apartment right next to the Ballston Commons, and it has access to a fenced in shared yard for bathroom breaks. Daisy takes a moment to warm up to new people, but she quickly befriended Amanda and it took some effort when I came to pick her up to get Daisy to leave her curled up spot on the couch next to Amanda. ❣️. About: I have taken care of dogs for over 20 years- I am great with all breeds and have a knack for training puppies (and older dogs too!) I am working from home and live right along a beautiful pet friendly park! I go on walks and runs throughout the day so love taking pups out with me! I ensure dogs are well taken care of and have experience administering different medications to dogs (including allergy injections) and following dietary restrictions or other needs. I show a lot of love and affection to pups and will keep them occupied and hopefully burn some of their energy playing and going on walks/runs!

About: I’ve had furry family members all my life. Finally got my own and live having a pup to train, pamper and love on. Let me share that experience with you and your pup as well☺️ I work from home, which makes pup care easier. My pup goes on a 30-60min walk or fetch in the fenced s hook fields near me around 7.30-8, eats around 10.30am with a quick walk outside soon after. She naps and is free to play. Last walk and dinner is around 6.30-7.30. Jade sleeps in her crate beside my bed. I’m able to give as much attention to her as needed because my schedule is flexible. I am very tidy and keep hazards away from the pups. I use dog-safe cleaning products. I also have a nest doorbell camera to monitor those coming and going. Plants are out of reach. “I was impressed with Daniel right from the start! He is a very humble, respectful, responsible, kind young man who loves animals. My dog Sophie immediately took to him and she would have great walks with him. I asked a lot from Daniel when I went on holiday…and he delivered! He came to my home for 10 days to not only walk my dog but also feed her…give her medicine, and as a bonus, he played with her. Socializing w Sophie went a long way because she was alone most of the time. He would always be on time and, when another dog walker canceled, he quickly covered that shift. No questions or higher charge. He sent a lot of photos too. Since I’ve been back from my holiday, I’ve been in poor health. I texted Daniel and he is now my dog walker on days when I’m unable to take Sophie out myself. Again, punctual & always thinking about what’s best for my dog…. I’ve always loved animals, and I am a very meticulous person so I will pay great attention to make sure your pet(s) and home are well cared for. About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals my entire life — from our childhood Irish Setter, Sadie, to our five cats and three birds. Beyond family pets, I’ve also cared for my own animals, including my boss’s elderly Chihuahua, Tu, who is now a sweet 15‑year‑old “little old lady” that I look after entirely, as well as my pony, Sea Star. Pet sitting gives me the opportunity to spend time with wonderful animals while helping fellow pet owners feel confident that their pets are in good hands. 🐾 MY PROMISE My goal is simple: to care for your pets the same way I care for my own. Their safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family! ❤️ I run my own business, which gives me a flexible schedule and the ability to provide reliable pet care. When I have clients for my business, I’m normally not gone for more than four hours a day. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting throughout the week and can often accommodate last-minute requests. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow feeding, medication, exercise, and routine instructions while providing plenty of attention, affection, and updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

“This weekend was our first experience using Rover for a sitter for our pup, Maisie, and we couldn’t have asked for better than Alyce and her family to watch her! Alyce hosted us for a meet and greet beforehand to make sure that Maisie and her dog would get along, which really put our minds at ease. Over the course of her stay, we received several photos and videos of Maisie playing with the other dogs and with Alyce’s sons, and you could just tell she was having a fantastic time. She really liked the variety toys that Alyce keeps for the dogs and roaming the nice, fenced backyard! We appreciated Alyce’s consistent communication and we had no doubt that our dog was in great, responsible hands and also enjoying herself! We would definitely recommend booking with Alyce and are confident we’ll be requesting her services again in the future!”

I’m so happy he gets a happy easy-going doggy friend in Khali, and experience with Pursey the cat. It’s so nice knowing that he is so beautifully cared for. Jennifer was extra kind this time, giving him medicine and more walks since he couldn’t run around her spacious front yard due to a healing injury. We love getting updates and adorable pictures throughout his time there. I’m not sure Harley really wanted to leave!”
