About: Animals have genuinely been one of my greatest loves for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my dream was to become a zoologist (and possibly the next Jane Goodall!). That career path may not have happened, but my love for animals absolutely never went anywhere. I grew up caring for my childhood dog and later had the joy of spending 13 years caring for two cats of my own. About: My first two rescues were Rottweilers my third and only child is the child that my mom blessed me with. She is a needy, loving girl but high energy so I’ve dealt with everything from couch potato to high Strong lovely I work from home and my height energy baby is used to go out multiple times a day and she is great with any dog she needs. I don’t have a fenced yard, but I am very active walking them in the neighborhood and we will always make time to go out. We are sidekick and we go walking together, dog parks together, but also she has not ever met a dog that she doesn’t love. Even those in the neighborhood that don’t get along with others love her. I do not have kids, but my nieces who are 5 to 9 or around her often so she is great with them, but I also understand those that don’t want their dog around kids so I will not bring them around them if they are uncomfortable.

Monday through Friday: • Morning: Before leaving for work, I ensure all pets are fed, have fresh water, and are let outside for a brief walk or playtime. • Evening: After work, I spend quality time with the pets, including a longer walk for the dogs, feeding, playtime, and any other necessary care (like grooming or administering medications). I reside in a neighborhood that is very pet friendly. I have close access to several parks with walking trails to accommodate any high energy dogs. My apartment offering ample room for either a crate or free roaming within the house, depending on your preference.

“This weekend was our first experience using Rover for a sitter for our pup, Maisie, and we couldn’t have asked for better than Alyce and her family to watch her! Alyce hosted us for a meet and greet beforehand to make sure that Maisie and her dog would get along, which really put our minds at ease. Over the course of her stay, we received several photos and videos of Maisie playing with the other dogs and with Alyce’s sons, and you could just tell she was having a fantastic time. She really liked the variety toys that Alyce keeps for the dogs and roaming the nice, fenced backyard! We appreciated Alyce’s consistent communication and we had no doubt that our dog was in great, responsible hands and also enjoying herself! We would definitely recommend booking with Alyce and are confident we’ll be requesting her services again in the future!”
