About: Hi there! I’m Grant - my wife and I are huge dog lovers. In April of 2025, we lost our first dog, Moose, a 90lb golden retriever mix. To honor his memory, we began a fostering journey. We successfully fostered out 5 dogs (3 of them seniors) to their forever homes over the next year (including the 5th one, who became our own!). We are aquatinted with all kinds and sizes with dogs. It’s been an honor to get to know each one and explore their unique personalities! We currently have 2 dogs of our own at home: Ellie, a 3yo petite Great Pyrenees, and Charlie, a 2yo Australian Shepherd. They LIVE for playing with other dogs - we’d love to host your pup and provide them a happy, fun, safe space to stay while you are away. Do you have a big dog? Are you anxious about it pulling your dog walker? I’ve got experience with large dogs pulling and I can handle yours. I will give them the distance and space they need to have a happy and safe walk. About: Not only have I pet sit dogs for friends before but I also have a lot of experience with cats! While some people like to pick between them, I love animals of all kinds! I have raised my two cats for 10 years since they were kittens but also have helped look after dogs for my friends. My sweet Australian cattle dog was reactive and high-energy, so I am familiar with training and walking those types of smart dogs. I also have a soft spot for seniors who want to move at their own pace and just want love and attention. I work remote from home so my schedule is pretty flexible! I may have meetings during the week that I can't move, but if time off day for drop-ins or walks is flexible on your side, I can find a time that works. I'd prefer to always do a meet and greet first to know where everything is if I need it -- from leashes and toys to cleaning supplies and emergency contact and vet numbers.
