“I honestly can not say enough positive things about how incredible Kristine is with the dogs she cares for. Our little Lacee is part of our family and we are always so hesitant to leave her, she has separation anxiety and is generally stressed for days after we return. We left Lacee with Kristine for 2 days and came back to a very happy puppy. Our dog was well cared for, taken on walks, snuggled and we received frequent pictures and updates on how she was doing. I felt so much better leaving her with Kristine then anyone else we have left Lacee with. I will definitely use her every time we come to salt lake. She truly loves the puppies she is caring for. I even noticed that my Mei Mei was not going crazy when confronted with a pair of loose dogs at the park on my first walk back with her. Lastly, she was able to take this booking last minute as I had unplanned lengthy work hours for a couple of days and so that in of it self was so much help. About: I have had pets in my home for my entire life. I have volunteered in animal shelters since 2019 and currently do regular shifts at a local shelter, where I walk dogs (I am trained to the most advanced level, meaning I can interact with and walk dogs who are still working on their social skills and interactions), take dogs and cats on local news shows to encourage adoption, foster dogs in my own home, and take part in educational opportunities to continually advance my animal care and advocacy abilities. My full-time job is remote and has a flexible schedule, so I can hang out with pets for much of the day and take breaks for outside time, playtime, appointments, and so on. I also teach a handful of yoga classes every week, usually in the late mornings, but the times vary from week to week. I am happy to give your pet what they need, whether that's scritichies, playtime, walks, gentle time sitting around, medicine, and so on. Whatever it is, I will be patient with them and their needs.

About: Our favorite part about dog sitting is when we get the opportunity to add your dog to our family for the weekend and we treat them as if they are ours! We love having all the different personalities at our house and it’s such a fun chaos that we look forward to whenever we get a new dog with us! We have a huge backyard that is completely fenced and we love throwing the balls outside, running around with the dogs, or simply watching the dogs play. Most of my clients are returning clients as we just love getting to know your pup and working with them to avoid any separation issues while you are away. We do this by providing an enhancing and engaging experience for your dog while playing and socializing with other dogs or giving them lots of belly rubs whenever they want it. We love to pretend like your dog is on vacation - just like when you are! I am available to attend to your dog. I am primarily out of the house in the mornings (usually 7:30-8am) and around 3pm for pick up and drop off for my son at school! Occasionally I may run some errands but other than that, your dog will be our main priority when they are here with us. We love to throw the ball around the yard and hang outside. We all enjoy spending time outside, and when the weather is nice I work out on my porch during the daytime.

I WFH and we share a vehicle. We are a very active family, but we also know how to relax and cuddle! We believe in putting our pets first as much as we can, and will do the same for yours. Hire me for an empathetic and adaptable caregiver for your pet! I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, pending I have access to our shared family vehicle. I am most available Mondays, Fridays, and weekends, but can work something out with advance notice T-Th. I live and reside on the Westside and share a car with my hubby; therefore, it’s best if I’m also able to access a vehicle in case of emergencies, for general commuting, and any puppy dog or kitty cat field trips. I have a small fenced backyard and dogs are part of the family. At this time, we are tentatively open to doing one or two small to midsize dog overnight stays in our home just because of space, but I will keep folks apprised of when/if that changes.

About: What sets me apart is my deep, real-life experience and love for animals. For the past year, I’ve been the primary caregiver for a 6-year-old golden retriever rescue, which has taught me patience, consistency, and how to meet a dog exactly where they are—especially when trust and routine really matter. I also grew up with two golden retrievers, so caring for dogs has always been a natural part of my life. In addition, I spent four months caring for a beautiful cat on a farm in North Carolina, giving me hands-on experience with cats and different living environments. I treat every animal as if they’re my own, with genuine attention, affection, and respect for their individual needs. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have open availability and do all of my schoolwork from home, so I’m able to be present, flexible, and attentive throughout the day. On occasion, I may need to step away for a few hours for work once or twice a week, but I always plan ahead to make sure pets are comfortable, exercised, and cared for before and after. Because I’m home most of the time, I can easily adjust my schedule around feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship. I have a small dog park like literally right across the street from me so it's perfect!! I care for pets as if they’re my own, giving them the best love and attention I can. I make sure they get healthy meals, regular exercise, and plenty of affection. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment where pets feel comfortable and happy. I also have plenty of friends with dogs in the building and area where they can call meet and play!

I explained that she also has some reactivity issues with new dogs until she warms up to them which she noted and apparently worked on because she was able to get my dog to walk along with hers. I even noticed that my Mei Mei was not going crazy when confronted with a pair of loose dogs at the park on my first walk back with her. Lastly, she was able to take this booking last minute as I had unplanned lengthy work hours for a couple of days and so that in of it self was so much help. I very much appreciate her ability to work with me and the awesome experience she gave. Thank you!”
