Recently I did housesat for a dog over spring break. I owned a dog and several cats in the past. About senior care, I owned and took care of an older cat. I used leash for dogs when taking them on walks. For cats, it depends on owner. Some cats are outdoors or indoors. I make sure they go potty and have play time. I know cats are super picky about their litters so poops must be scooped out. I use bag to pick up dog poop. I try to find out what animals likes to do and spend time with them.

In order for your dog to have a great experience, they need to play well with other dogs and be comfortable spending time in a kennel. SAFETY & TRUST: We have been trained in behavior recognition to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests. When we have multiple guests, we group dogs as needed (by age, size, "fixed" or not, temperament, and/or energy level) to optimize the experience for each guest. We feed them in a kennel to ensure food isn't shared and give them quiet time after meals to ensure they have adequate time to digest before playing again. We expect our guests to be up to date with their vaccinations. When a new dog arrives give them time to explore on their own, then we gradually introduce them to other dogs to assess temperament and compatibility. That is the reason we prefer to limit the pickup and dropoff windows so we can devote that critical time. Please see availability for more info on times. ENVIRONMENT: We have a dedicated space both indoors and outdoors for the dogs. Inside we have an air-conditioned apartment dedicated to the dogs. They have a couch, area rug, background music, and their own 4x4, 4x6, or 5x5 kennel. We reserve a corner for a workstation where we work during the day. Outside we have a fenced area for the dogs with turf and toys. We setup a canopy for extra shade on hot sunny days since we don't have natural shade from trees yet. We wet the turf down on hot days to ensure it's comfortable for the dogs as well.

About: I've had pets of every kind since I was 3 years old. Most of my pets have been dogs, although I've had cats, calves, horses, lambs, pigs and goats at times. I've had to feed, bathe, walk and of course doctor animals all my life. I currently have two English Bulldogs that I love very much. I'm currently retired and so I am flexible with my schedule. I am able to travel within a 10-15 mile radius for care. I have a reliable vehicle. I have a fenced yard and two English Bulldogs. One is female and one is male. I have a dog door that leads outside so that my dogs can go in and out at will.
About: While we have 3 dogs of our own, we have a large area and easy ways to separate if need be. We have a HUGE fenced-in outdoor area where they can run around, chase squirrels, sniff, dig, and all the fun things! We also have a large indoor dog room for them to play, sleep and eat in. Lastly, have a good-sized covered enclosed patio, so if they want to be outside, but it is a bit cold, we have options. These areas make it easy for us to separate dogs if there are any aggression issues or if any are un-fxed. I work partially remote. I leave the house from about 10-4pm on Mondays and Fridays, but other than that am pretty available to be home and handle whatever crazy things the pups come up with! A sweetheart of a German Shepherd and one high maintenance Cocker Spaniel. They are my not just dogs, but a major part of our family. This passion came from growing up on a farm. I have been taking care of many different types of animals since before I can remember. My mother also bred a couple different types of dog breeds growing up. There was never a moment without a dog or some type of animal that I had to look after. Because of this, they’re top priority. I make sure they’re fed, sheltered, get love, have fresh water, and as many potty breaks and exercise that they need! Your pets will get lots of love and attention! I also like to try and maintain behaviors so any commands, hand signals, rules… etc., is something I’d like to know in order to keep up the routine(s).

Over the years I have tended to and cared for many kinds of animals for other people, both at their home and at mine for various lengths of time. My schedule is decently flexible since I'm a stay at home mom. I have 3 young children that would love to "help" me take care of your precious fur babies. :) Non smoking, clean and safe environment. Three small children who love animals and would be thrilled to help care for your pet. Plenty of space to keep your pet comfortable and safe.
About: I’ve had dogs in my home since I was 7 years old. We’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from a 6 week old puppy too a 15 year old senior. We’ve cared for many breeds. I am a stay at home mom with a 10 year old girl and a 5 year old boy. I have plenty of free time to care for, walk, and play with your dog(s). I have a loving pit bull who is a gentle giant and two cats. I have a large fenced yard. My home is very small but we make do. I also have two children who love animals. We have a black house cat and a white Maine Coon. I am a firm believer that you should care for your animals the way you care for your children. I will provide a safe and loving environment for your your furry four legged baby(s). And my kids will play fetch with them for hours on end.
About: I’ve been taking care of my family dog since I was a young girl for years. I have also taken care of family and friend’s dogs as well and I love being around animals! I work part time along with attending a couple of classes for school, so I have all mornings, most afternoons, and all nights to play and care for your pets! I am very gentle and caring with animals. I always keep an eye on them and make sure they are safe. I let them out, let them in, and play with them in a safe, gentle, and energetic manner!
About: Need a sitter who truly understands dogs? I’ve had pets my whole life and currently raise a happy, 2.5 year old pup who is a total social butterfly. Your dog won't just get a attentive sitter—they’ll get a built-in playmate! I love reinforcing good manners and ensuring every dog feels safe, loved, and thoroughly entertained. I am currently on summer break from school and am home full time. Our days include playtime at home, walks around the neighborhood, and an occasional trip to the dog park. I have an unfenced grassy area outside my front door that we use for play. May dog is also always up for play. I am able to crate dogs if needed too.

Every morning I take the pups on a walk or run, and on every day but Tuesdays and Thursdays, I do backyard playtime in the afternoon, then every day in the evenings is indoor playtime. And on the weekends, I love to take my dogs on long hikes, to the dog park, or to go swimming! Please note that I am a student, so there will be times when they will need to be alone and unsupervised, usually kenneled, but I make it a point to expend energy before and after an absence like that so they will want to nap whilst I am away. I am very experienced in interpreting dog behavior/body language and handling stressful situations. I value honesty and transparency, and you can be sure to expect pictures and videos! :) I am willing to feed, walk, water, and brush your animals. Whatever they need, I am up for it!
About: My husband and I have had dogs big and small growing up so we’re very familiar with their mannerisms, behavior and unique personalities. We’ve had our own dogs for four years and love them dearly, they’re our babies! I’m currently a stay-at-home mom so I am available and pretty flexible for the most part throughout the day. My dogs help me around the house as I get things done. I have a fenced in yard with two of my own dogs to keep yours company! Occasionally I let the dogs inside to hang out and eat, or depending on the weather to keep warm/cool. At bedtime I bring them in to sleep in their dog crate.

“Crystal is kind, patient and invested in your pet. Her loving heart shines and she has the sweetest smile when she greets you. My dogs love her. We were gone for 5 days and she caresd for my pets in such a loving manor. When she had time, she would send pictures. ******** I think people on Rover need to understand that when she signs up to take your pet, she is taking it seriously! She walks your pet twice a day and sometimes more. She personally has play time outside while bonding with your dog and she tailors everything around her to YOUR pet. Because she takes her job seriously, she may not be able to respond to your texts as quickly as you’d like because she is literally working her tail off trying to care and fully love your pet, because that’s just the kind of person she is!
