About: Hey I’m Jen! I love all animals and I know how important it is to find someone who cares when you need help! I have had animals my whole life and grew up in the country with horses, goats, dogs, cats, rabbits and ducks! I previously worked as a veterinary technician and have been running this business since 2021. I currently have 6 fur children, 2 horses and 4 working dogs. Helping animals is a passion of mine. I am currently working a 48/96 rotating schedule so I have a lot of availability in between those days. I will always do all that I can to fit your pet care needs into my schedule. I have a fully fenced large backyard, private kennel space for each dog for sleeping, eating and rotation with those that are in heat, intact or don’t get along with others. About: I have been caring for animals most of my life! I've cared for dogs, cats, goats, chickens and even falcons! My favorite is caring for dogs. I grew up with my dog, Porky, our family Terrier. As I raised my own family, our dog, Lady, became a significant part of my children's lives. Now I often care for my children's pets, and that is where the cats, chickens, goats and falcons come in. About: I have had dogs my entire life. My first time volunteering was in 2010 where I started at the Homer Animal Shelter in Alaska. I volunteered for four years and had to stop to care for all of the rescues I had taken in to my home. May then husband continued volunteering to ensure we fulfilled our duties. I have rescued seniors and helped birth puppies of a foster dog. I have done IV infusions on a dog for kidney failure. The safety of our dogs is of the utmost importance to me. I work from home and am very available and present with them all day. We have lots of potty breaks, a fenced yard, and sleeping in the bed is a must! I have little stairs so they can be on any and all furniture. I do not spank animals. A firm tone is all I need. I love dogs and if your dog accidentally pees on my floor, oh well. I clean it up and we move on.

About: I love walking and caring for dogs. I believe that regular exercise is important for every pet. I have been walking dogs for years. Over the past few months i have been providing daily care for my sisters two dogs. I have a flexible schedule and would love to be your pets favorite walker. I can fit your schedule very easily and will help your pet get appropriate exercise. I have been making sure my sisters dog got the vitamins and supplements he needed over the past few months when she was out of state.
About: For as long as I can remember I've loved animals and have been genuinely interested in learning about them. I grew up having lots of pets and have a wide range of care and management experience with various species including: dogs, cats, birds, rodents, some reptiles, fish, horses, and other livestock. In 2010, when I first moved to Vegas, after many years of riding and horse keeping- I became a full time horse trainer and ranch manager in Northwest LV. During my early 20's I also apprenticed with several horse and dog trainers, getting my start in a few different horse and dog sports. In 2013, I completed a small animal veterinary assistant program (AS) from Animal Behavior College and following internship at a local vet clinic to further my education, but continued to work privately for clients as I am much more interested in the behavior aspects. I continued riding and training, volunteering countless hours with L.E.A.N (las vegas equine rescue network) and Paradise Ranch horse assisted therapy, as well as a few other local smaller programs for horses, dogs, and even cats. During those years I periodically helped teach various dog sports and obedience classes, as well as taking my own continuing education classes separately. I recently moved back here from a few years living abroad so I am looking to expand my client base again! This my 16th year of professional animal training and management. I'm an experienced behavioral consultant for dogs and horses. I use gentle, effective, ethical handling methods backed by modern research that do not involve the use of applied punishment as a teaching tool. I feel very strongly about compassionate care, training and daily management and am at a high level of hours in both animal science education and practial experience. Most animals I've handled appreciate my very gentle approach and clear understanding of their signals, and I have never met one I didn't genuinely like. Their safety and comfort is my top priority. *any training services I offer are completely separate from Rover and unrelated to the services I provide here. If you are interested in behavior modification plans it will need to be discussed separately/privately. I am full time self employed and I have a wide range of availability and offerings. I have experience with care and training for many species I'm very consistent, will show up on time every time as expected and do what we have agreed will be done. I value my time and yours and you can rest assured knowing my clients animals are my top priority and I will treat your pets with the same high standard of care and attention that I give to my own. I am very proactive at the first sign of any issue and always grateful for the opportunity to meet new animals and their people!

About: Pet care is my life. It is what I have done since before I can remember and I LOVE it. I have many years experience working at veterinary practices so I am comfortable giving medications as directed. Past experience supervising doggy day care/play groups. I also have experience working with positive dog trainers who helped me care for my high energy rescue dog. I am practiced at observing feline and canine body language which helps me to handle them even in stressful situations. I have volunteered for animal shelters and rescue groups in the past and I am comfortable caring for rescue pets who need a little extra TLC both physically and emotionally. My newest pet care skill is professional dog grooming. Some experience caring for horses and other livestock. I will care for them like they are my own.
