“Dom and fam are running a wonderful operation for little dogs. I've had the need for last-minute boarding a couple times this year, including a lot of stressful scheduling and travel changes, and Dom has been incredibly accommodating. Availability is fantastic, and more than anything, I've felt good knowing my tiny pooch is with folks who genuinely care about dogs and have a lot of real experience handling them. It's great to know my dog gets time outside when weather permits, has the opportunity to socialize and play with other dogs in a safe environment for it, and that all of his basic care is in good hands. The extra grooming option is a HUGE benefit, as well. Highly recommended!”

“Kristine is amazing! My Teacup came home happy and healthy, and I will definitely be booking with her again, if she'll have us. She has a safe, clean and peaceful home”

“Micah was great! He was very responsive, sent great updates about my doggies little adventures, and helped keep my critter very comfortable and well taken care of.”

“Ally was a great sitter for Ziggy and he enjoyed his stay and play time with her pups!! She was great with communication throughout the stay (sent photos and updates as well), and was able to accommodate a somewhat last minute booking. I will definitely use her again and would recommend her to anyone considering her services!”

“Ziggy had a great time with Valerie and Nicholas. My wife and I recently moved to SLC from the east coast and this past week was the first time we've traveled anywhere without our pup. We so appreciated Valerie and Nicholas's communication while we were away. They made sure Ziggy got time outside and exercise and lots of snuggles! We will definitely book with Valerie and Nicholas again next time we travel.”

“Kellie did an amazing job caring for my dog, Rue! I really appreciated receiving photos while I was away. It was wonderful to see Rue had such a fun time playing in the backyard and getting along so well with their dog, Noodle. I will definitely be trusting Kellie with dog sitting again in the future!”

“Grecia was amazing and clearly had much experience with dog behavior. My girl is a bit overreactive with strangers and Grecia immediately assessed this and knew how to handle the situation effectively calming my dog and building up her initial trust. I explained that she also has some reactivity issues with new dogs until she warms up to them which she noted and apparently worked on because she was able to get my dog to walk along with hers. I even noticed that my Mei Mei was not going crazy when confronted with a pair of loose dogs at the park on my first walk back with her. Lastly, she was able to take this booking last minute as I had unplanned lengthy work hours for a couple of days and so that in of it self was so much help. I very much appreciate her ability to work with me and the awesome experience she gave. Thank you!”

“I have been taking my pup to Wendy for about 5 years now. She’s always so organized and gives me plenty of updates. My pup now gets excited when he realizes he is going to Wendy’s. It’s so nice to have someone that I trust caring for my dog”

“Tara was an amazing sitter! This was my first time using Rover.com. I had to travel to NC for a wedding, but couldn't keep the dog at the hotel where the party was staying. After reading the reviews and seeing how well Tara took care of her own pups, I knew mine would be in good hands. She provided great communication and lots of pictures and videos. My dog felt comfortable and had a wonderful stay. I wish I lived closer to her because I would work with Tara again in a heartbeat. Any other sitters I book will have a lot to live up to! :-)”

About: Hi! I’m Deena, a devoted pet lover who understands how important it is to find someone you trust with your furry family members. I provide a safe, loving home where your pet will receive plenty of attention, playtime, cuddles, and regular photo updates while you’re away. I believe boarding should feel like a sleepover, not a kennel. My goal is for every dog to feel safe, comfortable, and treated like part of the family. Whether your dog loves walks, backyard playtime, or simply relaxing indoors, I’ll make sure they feel happy, secure, and right at home. • I’m available for boarding seven days a week. • I’m self-employed, so I’m home most of the day and typically only out for a few hours at a time. • As an empty nester, my home is quiet with no young children, allowing me to provide plenty of attention and supervision for your pet. • I have a fully fenced yard with a doggy door and share my home with my two friendly resident dogs, Jasper (Pomchi) and Buster (young Corgi), along with my cat, GG. • Both of my dogs are friendly and well-socialized, and GG generally prefers to keep to himself. • I carefully supervise introductions and can keep pets separated using gates and crates if needed, so every pet feels comfortable and safe. • I only accept one family’s dog(s) at a time. This allows me to provide individualized attention, a calm environment, and a less stressful experience for every guest. • Every guest receives one-on-one attention, plenty of affection, regular playtime, and photo updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy and comfortable.
“My flight got delayed. My cats were in such good care. I got update photos regularly so my anxiety was under control and I loved my vacation even more knowing they were happy. Thank you so much!”

About: As a lifelong dog lover, I understand how important it is to find someone you trust when you’re away. My goal is to provide a comfortable environment where your dog can feel right at home. Whether your pup enjoys relaxing on the couch, playing in the yard, going for walks, or a nice hike, they’ll receive plenty of attention, affection, and care throughout their stay. I work from home and am experienced with dogs of all ages and sizes. I have a large fenced yard for them to lounge in to their heart’s content. I have one small heeler named Monkey who absolutely loves having another dog around. I work from home full time so I am home during the day. I generally walk my dog in the evening, and we usually hike a few times a week depending on the heat. My dogs are part of my family but I’m happy to provide the kind of care that your dog is accustomed to and so that they are comfortable and at ease. I only take one client at a time to keep it nice and relaxed.
“Elizabeth was great! She took good care of our older dog, gave him medicines, was very helpful and easy to work with. She kept us updated with messages and pictures while he was at her house. We will use her again.”

“My dog is older and I didn't want to leave him home alone arranging for someone to pop in and out occasionally during the day to let him out. I didn't want to leave him at a dog boarding facility either. I was really glad I stumbled on Alyssa's profile, saw that she had multiple repeat customers and excellent reviews. Knowing she was home during the day to let my dog out when needed was a great relief for me. I did not worry once while I was gone knowing he was in her care. I will be using her again.”
“We had an excellent experience with Lexi - great communication, super friendly, loves dogs, and Duncan clearly had a great stay! He will definitely be back!”
“Shana did an absolutely amazing job with our extremely nervous and scared pup who does not trust many people. Shana was extremely patient and truly understood Nola’s personality and what she needed in order for her to become comfortable. Nola did not want to leave a the end which we’ve never seen before! Shana is a true professional and we will be booking again! So thankful for her care for our fur baby.”

“For our two week trip, Mandi kept us updated on everything our princess, Gracie, was doing on a daily basis. Mandi sent us pictures on an almost daily basis. We will be using Mandi in the future for our boarding needs.”

“Absolutely amazing! Cindy sent so many photos and reassured me that my pup was doing well and adjusting. She took great care of my little one and my pup came home happy and tired from all the playing.”

“Anna was such a great sitter! I had a last minute change of plans and she was super accommodating and made sure my kitties were cared for. I would definitely recommend her.”

About: I have been passionate about pets my whole life. I am often asked by friends and family to dog sit and take care of their pets when they are away. I treat the dogs I sit like my own and give them the care I would to my own dogs. My dogs are used to having new pet friends when I do dog sit and get along well with them. I am experienced with pets that have special needs, and I am happy to care for fur-babies of all ages and needs. You will have peace of mind that your pet is cared for and loved. I work 4 10 hours days so I will be available on the whole weekend to care for pets. I often spend time walking my dogs and playing with them at the park. They get plenty of play time in and out of the house. I will follow any directions needed to care for your pet at home. Ensuring no escapes is priority number 1! If I am pet sitting I have a big back yard and lots of parks nearby.

“Connor is the best cat and dog sitter! They went above and beyond to care for my pets and I would recommend him to anyone. He cared for my animals like his own and you won’t regret booking him!”

About: Hi! My name is Nathalia, and I have two dogs of my own, Ody and Bruno. Ody is a German Shepherd, and Bruno is a Maltese mix! I’ve always loved animals, especially dogs. From grumpy elders, introverted and awkward, to overcuddly (actually, I don't think it's possible for dogs to be overcuddly, haha), to high-energy pups, I love them all! I have experience caring for dogs with reactivity, aggression, fearfulness, anxiety, and medical needs . Dogs who may be misunderstood or who require extra patience are welcome! As someone who struggled for years with my dog ody being reactive, I understand the struggle it can be to find someone to trust your pet with. I’m comfortable following detailed instructions and will work closely with you to make sure your dog feels safe, respected, and cared for. Every dog is different, and I’m happy to adjust to their routine, comfort level, and needs. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, medications, crate time, and any special instructions. In a client’s home, I will respect your space and follow your instructions closely. I’m comfortable with detailed routines, leash safety, medication instructions, feeding needs, and dogs who require extra patience or boundaries. I will always pay attention to your pet’s body language and comfort level, and I’ll treat them with kindness, patience, and respect.
“Amber did a great job caring for my kitty! Every daily update and photo proved how loved and well-cared for my cat was ini my absence. We returned home to a relaxed, happy kitty. I would absolutely recommend Amber!”

“Reagan was absolutely wonderful with our two senior cats, Lovecraft and Theodore. Since they are older, we are always a little nervous leaving them, but Reagan put us completely at ease. She is a fantastic communicator and sent us daily updates with photos, which we truly looked forward to! It was clear she didn't just pop in and out; she took the time to give them treats, 'loves,' and plenty of playtime every single day. The boys were so happy and relaxed when we returned. We are so glad we found her and will definitely be booking with Reagan again!”

“Anna was amazing with my cat Shadow while we were out of town. I could tell Shadow felt comfortable with her and warmed up to her quickly. Anna made sure she had everything she needed and gave her all of the love and attention she wanted. I highly recommend her!”

“Dominique was wonderful! I needed last-minute daycare for my older dog while coming in from out of state, and she was kind enough to let me book the night before. That flexibility meant so much and gave me huge peace of mind. My dog was happy and relaxed when I picked him up, which tells me he was well cared for. I’m so grateful and would absolutely recommend Dominique!”

“Leo seemed to have a great time with Alexis! She took good care of him with his separation anxiety. She was communicative beforehand and great at sending updates and photos!”

“Cari is so sweet and treats your dog like her own. My dog loved her and they had a great weekend together. I got lots of photos and updates and it made me feel good to see my little pup was having a great time. I highly recommend Cari!!”

“divine is so kind. she always makes sure that santiago is well loved and cared for. any time i drop santiago off, he is so excited. one thing is that my dog has a hard time eating at other places. divine always tries to make him feel safe and is willing to try lots of different foods with them. overall, i feel confident that santiago is being well cared for while staying with divine.”

“I had a wonderful experience with this dog sitter! My dogs were very happy in her care and were excited to go back each morning, which gave me a lot of confidence that they were being well looked after. She was reliable, communicative, and kept me updated with photos and even the routes they took on their walks. It was great to see what they were up to throughout the day. One day, one of my dogs rolled in something particularly messy, and she took the time to get her cleaned up before I picked her up. That extra level of care was really appreciated. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!”

“Tara was amazing!!! She was so caring for our pup, kept us updated with pictures through her stay, and was available last minute when we needed someone to watch her. We are so grateful! Will definitely be coming back!”

I have raised yorkies, pit bulls, huskies, and dalmatians just to name a few. i love to make new animal friends and cant wait to meet your best friend =) I work seasonal jobs and have long breaks in between jobs where I enjoy spending my time outside meeting new dogs and playing with my dog. I enjoy long walks and throwing the ball for your pet to fetch. A tired pet is a happy pet.
“Holly was so awesome and accommodating to take my dog at such short notice. She really saved the day when my work schedule changed quickly. I really appreciate her.”
About: I have had pets in my home for my entire life. I have volunteered in animal shelters since 2019 and currently do regular shifts at a local shelter, where I walk dogs (I am trained to the most advanced level, meaning I can interact with and walk dogs who are still working on their social skills and interactions), take dogs and cats on local news shows to encourage adoption, foster dogs in my own home, and take part in educational opportunities to continually advance my animal care and advocacy abilities. My full-time job is remote and has a flexible schedule, so I can hang out with pets for much of the day and take breaks for outside time, playtime, appointments, and so on. I also teach a handful of yoga classes every week, usually in the late mornings, but the times vary from week to week. I am happy to give your pet what they need, whether that's scritichies, playtime, walks, gentle time sitting around, medicine, and so on. Whatever it is, I will be patient with them and their needs.

“Tumaye was amazing!!! Our dog Yoshi had the best time hanging out with him and playing in his yard! Yoshi has some anxiety but Tumaye was good at making sure he was calm and playing with him! We would 100% have Tumaye dog sit for us again! He was such a life saver!!”

“Alyssa was great! She was super understanding of my flexible schedule and was able to pick up extra days on short notice. Better yet, Piper loved her time with Alyssa and her family. I received pictures everyday and reports on her potty breaks and she always took Piper on at least 1 walk a day.”

“Tracey is awesome! We rescued a sweet and shy girl last year. When we reached out to Tracey, she was very patient and understanding. During the meet-and-greet, she and her pack warmly welcomed our shy girl and Tracey gave us a tour of her house and yard. By the end of the meet-and-greet, our girl was trying to play with all of the dogs which was a great sign. When it came to the first dog sitting day, Tracey sent pictures and updates on a regular basis. We were very assured that our girl was in great hands. When we picked her up the next day, Tracey said that she played a lot with her pack, so she was very tired the rest of the evening, which is super awesome for us! Hopefully, with time, our shy girl will eagerly anticipate going to Tracey's. I highly recommend Tracey as a dog sitter. She has great knowledge on dog behavior and can address it to create a warm and comforting environment. Thank you!”

“Cari is absolutely amazing, and my dog, Faraday, already adores her: head tilt, tongue out, excited jumping all show up when he hears Cari's name. She's responsible, flexible, and excellent at communicating and sending pictures. I cannot praise her enough. She deserves all the props! Love her!”

“Jenna is such a wonderful doggie walker! She came in during a crucial time when we were unable to walk our two dogs regularly. She was very patient and kind to our doggies and maintained open communication with us at all times. Always happy to have her caring for our pups!”

“Highly recommend Matt. He is punctual and communicates very well. I initially used him when my regular rover guy was on vacation. Now I use Matt full time as I was more impressed with him. We work long hours and work about an hour away. And I do not stress if my babies are being taken care of.”

“Stacey took great care of my little doggie. It was obvious that my pup had a great time there and felt very comfortable being there. She loved the back yard and loved going on plenty of walks!”

“Brent & Liza are so awesome. They are very nice and cared a lot for our dog. They sent us a few pictures everyday. Their dog buck was very friendly and a good friend to our dog. Our dog was so happy there and came home very tired from playing.”
