About: I grew up on a farm. Have had numerous dogs, cats and other species. I have worked at a pet resort and am currently a vet tech working at a local hospital. I am currently doing school and working part- time, but I know how to manage my time in between. For example, I love taking dogs on walks and doing interactive activities with them! I currently do have a senior dog that can keep your fur baby company. I have a fenced in yard, but I do also do walks. My dog goes on 2-3 walks a day + gets time outside in my back yard whenever she wants. She’s on a strict feeding schedule and has dietary restrictions which I also accommodate.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I have always been the member of my family that everyone asks to watch their dogs for them while they travel. Taking care of my dog is the first thing I do at the start of my day. As soon as I wake up in the morning my main focus is to take care of my dog. I have dog training experience going back to my teens, I’m very active and happy to go on long walks with high energy pups, and I have extensive senior care experience (my own pup sadly just passed after a battle with cancer). I’m comfortable giving meds and assisting senior pets with getting up and around and lifting as needed. Pets have always been family members for me, and I’ll make sure yours are cared for as such! My schedule is relatively flexible around the classes I teach on campus, but there are a few hours each weekday that I will not be available. Well-trained dogs are welcome in my home if they do not have a history of destructive behaviors, digging, or marking. I have a fenced yard and no pets. I do have indoor plants that may not be safe for pets, so if your dogs are prone to nibble plants, please let me know so I can relocate them to a closed room! About: I grew up on a farm. Have had numerous dogs, cats and other species. I have worked at a pet resort and am currently a vet tech working at a local hospital. I am currently doing school and working part- time, but I know how to manage my time in between. For example, I love taking dogs on walks and doing interactive activities with them! I currently do have a senior dog that can keep your fur baby company. I have a fenced in yard, but I do also do walks. My dog goes on 2-3 walks a day + gets time outside in my back yard whenever she wants. She’s on a strict feeding schedule and has dietary restrictions which I also accommodate.

About: I’ve take care of my three dogs since I was young along with family members pets. And I also volunteered at a animal humane society, where I cared for animals. I have had a large dog and small dogs so I know how to handle and care for dogs of all sizes. We also have a large yard go pet to play in. About: I’ve had pets of all kinds growing up including dogs, livestock and small exotics. Since high school I have worked on and off as a veterinary assistant/technician until the last year when I made it my full time career. Now, I enjoy my work as a small animal ER technician where I am trained to identify and respond to pet emergencies. In college, I trained service dogs and really enjoyed learning more in-depth training. I’ve also worked as an animal caretaker throughout school, taking care of many different exotic bird species. I currently work Friday thru Sunday with variable availability during those times. I am completely free Monday thru Thursday which allows me to spend a lot of time with pets! “Shyla is wonderful. I cannot stress how wonderful she (and her family) are. This was the first time we boarded our pups somewhere other than their vet’s office. After leaving our pups with her and heading to Mexico, we learned that my big black and tan coonhound has a real separation anxiety issue, which our vet never mentioned. He was awful for her. Really awful. But she (and her family) treated him with love and kindness, even as he made life incredibly difficult for them. I won’t ever board Ulysses and someone else’s home, but I am grateful that I not only learned about his separation anxiety problem, but that he was in a place where he was cared for, even when it was hard to do so. Shyla is a great communicator, sending updates and pics multiple times a day, and quick to answer any questions we had. I cannot recommend Shyla highly enough.”
