About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats as a professional groomer for the past 5 years. I am a mom to a tripod Shiba Inu mix and a deaf Shih Tzu mix! I work for a school district 7-4 Monday-Friday. Dogs, cats, horses, chickens, quail, snakes, I love the interactions of the animals and making sure all their needs are met , such as feeding, grooming, playing. About: I have been grooming and pet sitting for 16 years. I own and operate my own dog grooming salon (Motown Mutts) . I regularly pull and foster from local shelters and have experience with frightened, nervous and special needs dogs. I have a ton of references and have quickly earned a reputation for providing excellent care in my area. My children were raised doing this and dogs that don’t normally love kids love mine because they speak the language. The dogs are very rarely left alone. My daughter is an LVT and handy for emergencies when I call. I can also groom them with advanced notice during their stay. We love our pet sitters like our own and become very attached to them. My babies usually run to my door and can’t wait to get inside. I am certified in emergency canine CPR and therapeutic massage therapy. The dogs will go to work with me daily unless I find the daycare experience stressful to them (older or nervous pups). I also have employees at my salon so they are available in emergencies The pups will be my pet while with me, we wake up at 4 am, have our meals and then head to the salon for the day to play. I don’t do a lot of playtime outside in the summer during the hottest times but we exercise in the evenings when it’s cooler. If there is an emergency I have staff willing to help out. I prefer no Sunday pick ups or drop offs because that’s family day

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, so I’m comfortable caring for them through every stage from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a slower, more attentive approach. Paw pad inspections are done with my bare feet on the concreate before my babies are allowed to walk. My sweet girl is older, so Leia is not able to handle the heat like Kylo. I am also very mindful of this. Your babies would be treated as if they were my babies unless there are other things you need me to do that I am currently not doing for my own.

About: I've been taking care of animals in some capacity my entire life. I'm going to study zoology to continue this pattern, as I want to work with animals in a more professional setting and learn more about them. Animals genuinely are my purpose in life, meaning you can trust me to be caring and loving with your pets. My only true commitment is classes I'm taking at a community college. I only am taking a couple classes a semester though, meaning I have a lot of free time. My first job in high school was in a pet grooming salon where I learned how to bathe and later groom. I would love to help and care for your fur babies while you are away. I’ll arrange my schedule to the appointments and clients that book me. I’m available for early morning walks to late evening drop ins, I work in Rover into my schedule. Let me know what your pet requires and I’m very flexible and understanding to help in any way. About: I dog sit regularly for family and friends. I take my boyfriend’s dog for walks, play, and take him for trips to the dog park while he is at work. The dog is a 50lb labradoodle, so I have experience with larger dogs. My roommates have a cat who I help take care of too. I have spent my whole life volunteering at animal shelters like the LASPCA, and I have a vast knowledge of dogs, cats, and small pets. I have had pets in each of these categories my whole life, and I would love to help take care of your buddy! I am a law student, so my classes are my priority. I am free weekends, and during the weekdays I have class to work around. I have multiple green spaces at my apartment or near my apartment. I would love to take dogs on walks around LSU’s campus or for a trip to the dog park. I have a spacious apartment with lots of free space for playing. I keep dog toys and supplies at my apartment for animal visits. If you have a cat we have scratching posts, toys, and plenty of supervised playing space. Our home is animal-proofed as well!
