Located on 35 private acres with creek access, your dog will have space to explore, exercise, and decompress in a safe and controlled setting. I take care of my dogs daily and taking care of others would just feel normal. I would mostly be available after work but free on weekends. At my dad's house in New York, I always leash our dog when we go for our walks and make sure that we walk through a safe neighborhood or on a hiking trail that's near our house. When outside, I keep an eye on him and make sure that he does not get into anything he shouldn't. I also make sure that if other people are around that he feels comfortable and safe. With my own puppy at home, he has a leash that we use to walk around our complex (they require all dogs to be leashed), but he is naturally good without a leash as well.

I’m able to accommodate drop-in visits (30/60 minute), whole day-care from 8am to 6pm, extended house-sitting bookings, single overnight stays, long-weekends and week long or more; care tailored to your pet’s normal routine. During house-sitting bookings, your home can be my primary base, allowing your pets to enjoy familiar surroundings while receiving calm, consistent companionship with one single person. Through my married life (25 years) my husband and I had a beagle who passed at age 15, and our two sons. Starting pet sitting has been a blessing for me in this transition phase I’m in waiting for my young adult sons to move out of home. I believe pets are happiest when they can remain in the comfort of their own home, surrounded by familiar sights, smells and routines. You’ll find me to be calm, attentive and respectful of both your pets and your home. I care for every household as though it were my own, taking time to learn each pet’s personality, routines and preferences. I particularly enjoy caring for companion dogs and cats who love being close to people, whether that’s sharing quiet company while I read, relaxing nearby while I work on my laptop, or spending time outdoors together in the yard or on a walk. I am willing to transport dogs or cats in my car however this is something to negotiate. I can transfer to an airport or drive a few hours to a new location for those who are away for vacation or moving house with negotiation. My goal is for your pets to feel safe, settled and loved while you’re away.
About: I’ve had two years of experience of dog sitting. Will ensure they get the proper care, love and patience for them! I have two dogs myself and care for them so much. I do work full time, but I will care for them and check up in the afternoon/evening, and in the mornings before work. Also available for weekends as well.
