We were very nervous, because Lola had never been left with a stranger before, and doesn't have the best attitude sometimes 😉 At the meet and greet, Joshua had his dog Brewster, who was very sweet and calm, but Lola was hissing and swiping every chance she had. Joshua had never watched a cat before but he was confident everything would be fine- and it was. Lola seemed to get very comfortable with Joshua very quickly. He was even able to pick her up, which we weren't expecting. Now that Lola is home, she seems very calm and has adjusted very well. She was super accommodating even when the weather through a wrench in my plans she was able to help . From start to finish she was a gem ! And treated my boys with such care and love . She updated me with pictures and videos everyday while I was ways . She made sure my German shepherd ate with helping with hand feeding him and adding some yogurt to his food because of his anxiety. She was warm and friendly, answered all of our questions with great detail, and even asked questions about Rico and any special considerations/needs that I had not considered listing when creating our pet profile. Genevieve was extremely good at communicating during our 7 days away. We received a couple of photos each day, with a detailed write-up of Rico's daily adventures. She administered Rico's many different medications daily, and was sure to let us know what was administered and how much. Starting from puppy training to becoming responsible on the daily habits of walking your dog, making sure to give them food and water everyday, play with them and more. How some people are really good with kids? That’s me but with pets! I also have a large outdoor kennel available if needed for supervised outdoor time, feeding, or to accommodate specific pet routines. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, schedule, and special needs to help them feel comfortable and stress-free while you’re away. Whether your pet enjoys being active, playing fetch, going for walks, or simply relaxing and receiving attention, I will make sure they get the care and companionship they deserve. I closely follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special requests provided by owners. I also send regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is safe, loved, and well cared for throughout their stay. 🐾
About: Your dogs & cats will be treated as my own, spoiled and well taken care of. I love to know my dog is being taken care of the best he can be while I’m gone, I’d love to do the same as a dog sitter/ walker. I am open to care for small, medium and large dogs. About: My family got our first family dog about 2 years ago. She’s about 10 years old and was going to be surrendered to a shelter. I know it’s tough for older dogs to get adopted so my family stepped in to take care of her. Pets are wonderful additions to any family & I’m just happy she’s living a relaxing life with us now. I’m currently very flexible with my time and would love to incorporate more walks into my days. If I'm unsure of any schedules I will always let you know. I enjoy taking her on walks it’s something she always looks forward to and of course making sure she always has access to water. My dog has anxiety especially when it comes to loud noises. Whenever there is a storm she hides and the least I can do is offer myself as a companion to her for the meantime.

About: I love my dogs and I will love yours to!! Your family member will have a great place to stay, and somebody to play with. They will be well taken care of and have everything they will need, food, water, outside, pet scratches, and belly rubs. We will be taking walks in a lovely neighborhood and spend some time at the park. You may not want them to stay to long or they may not want to go home. I look forward to taking in your family members while you are out of town or taking care of business. Joshua had never watched a cat before but he was confident everything would be fine- and it was. Lola seemed to get very comfortable with Joshua very quickly. He was even able to pick her up, which we weren't expecting. Now that Lola is home, she seems very calm and has adjusted very well. She was super accommodating even when the weather through a wrench in my plans she was able to help . From start to finish she was a gem ! And treated my boys with such care and love . “Our first time using Rover.com services. We were initially nervous about leaving our dog Rico with a complete stranger. After a meet and greet with Genevieve, we were instantly at ease! She was warm and friendly, answered all of our questions with great detail, and even asked questions about Rico and any special considerations/needs that I had not considered listing when creating our pet profile. Genevieve was extremely good at communicating during our 7 days away. We received a couple of photos each day, with a detailed write-up of Rico's daily adventures. About: I have always had pets, specifically indoor dogs and cats. I also have 2 years experience as a kennel tech at a boarding/grooming facility where I worked with dogs of all sizes, cats, reptiles, rabbits and other small mammals. I am comfortable with any size dog and most temperaments. Each dog deserves care and attention, I am well aware that certain breeds have more difficult personality traits (and for good reason, too!) so just let me know what your dog needs and I will accommodate. Regarding dog walks: I am not currently booking for dog walks due to a torn ligament in my ankle. I am still capable of drop ins, boarding, etc. as I am healing, but walks are on hiatus for a few weeks! I am stable/sturdy - just in a boot. I work full time but am available after 5pm on weekdays. I do have a flexible schedule so if you need something, I may be able to accommodate if I can work from home! I have open availability on the weekends. As someone with kennel tech experience, I am very comfortable crating dogs and taking them for walks, playing as much as they want, and adjusting to their specific needs. I also have experience administering medication, both oral and injections.
