I was in a strange situation, where I was moving across the country with my dog and two cats, but had to stop along the way in the Houston area, and leave my pets so I could fly out for a couple days to a job interview before getting back on the road. I needed someone to do check-in visits with the cats (one of them is very old and has feeding requirements) and to board my dog who is a little bit nervous when I'm gone. I was a nervous wreck about the whole situation. But Lesly came through for me. I took my dog Sombrita over to meet her a couple days before I left; and then Lesly also came over to meet my cats before the trip. Sombrita was really scared and timid when I left. But Lesly and her family were gentle and sweet with her, and she warmed up quickly, and had fun while she was there. About: While I have not professionally taken care of animal, I have always had a dog (specifically pitbulls) in my household since I was a child. I've also house sat for reptiles (lizards and snakes), fish, and cats. I work full time remotely, so my schedule is very flexible. I can stop in at any time to walk or let them out to use the bathroom, or I can bring my work laptops with me to work from your home if I am needed for extended periods of time. I am also part of the Texas National Guard so every month I will need to go to drills, so weekend availability will change each month. With my own puppy at home, he has a leash that we use to walk around our complex (they require all dogs to be leashed), but he is naturally good without a leash as well.

Dogs have always been apart of my life and family and I have also had lots of experience with taking care of a elderly dog my dog I had for 16 years ended up being diabetic and needing insulin two times a day with a injection so I have a lot of experience with the extra needs of a dog and I am very well equipped to handle any situation necessary! I am very loving and kind and have a calm demeanor so dogs always take well to me! I would be ecstatic to meet new and amazing dogs I treat dogs like they’re my children. I have a dog at home that I take care of daily like a child, so I make any animal a priority. I’ll make sure I walk them thoroughly and make sure they’re put up and doors are all closed before letting them in and out. Make sure I always put the leash on I’m very aware of my surroundings, so no cars or other dogs could be around and if they are, I take precaution always.
About: I’ve had a dog since I was 6. I feed, walk and care for fur babies of friends, family and neighbors. References available if requested. I can flex my hours for my full time job during the week but available full time on weekends. Available mornings and evenings during the week. I have a fenced yard and doggy door they can come and go in and out from. I have two dogs that can keep your dog company and can crate your dog as needed.
