About: Romeo was my first cat at 20, and I believe by far the best cat to learn all about them. I rescued him at 1 year old, toothless and he was terrified. He hid under my bed for weeks, not eating or going to the bathroom, but I knew cats were much harder to crack than dogs and I was determined. Finally, after many hours of me sitting near my bed and chicken-tubes later, he finally trusted me. Now, he is my shadow and soul cat. Learning his behaviors and boundaries became the most rewarding part of him trusting me and becoming my partner in crime, and since then, have learned and opened up many other family cats the kept to themselves for years and became comfortable in their space, by their people.

“We feel so lucky to have found Lacey! She was very responsive and sent us lots of sweet pictures of our dog cuddling with her and playing with other dogs. We get worried leaving our dog due to some medical issues, but she let us come over and meet her and her dog beforehand so our dog could get used to her home. It was clear our dog was well taken care of care of and had a great time at her house! I highly recommend her.”
