“When we got our first dog, Wrigley, at 10 weeks old, we had no clue what an intricate member of the family he would become! I instantly worried that we would never go on vacation again, as I wasn't comfortable leaving him at a kennel. I started looking at Rover and when I saw that Jackie and Lambert were listed I was immediately relieved! Our paths had crossed with them before we got Wrigley and were always amazed at their kindness. I knew we had found the perfect place for our puppy when we go on vacation and that I wouldn't have to fly my dad in from out-of-state anymore! Yes, I'm that kind of doggie mom, which tells you that it is very important to me where I leave our pup. Jackie and Lambert took very good care of Wrigley and were not fazed by my instructions. He was evident from the many pictures and videos I received multiple times a day that he was happy and took a liking to both of them. Jackie and Lambert took Wrigley on multiple walks, played in the backyard with him, brushed him (I didn't even ask them to!), and most importantly, showed him lots of love. Wrigley is a cuddler and from the photos looks like he quickly claimed his spot on the couch cuddling Lambert. They knew that Wrigley slept in his crate next to our bed, so Lambert even slept next to his crate every night! We really appreciated this. Jackie keeps a scrapbook of their Rover doggies that is proof of how much they love doing this! I would write more, but I just spied my 10-month old puppy digging in the backyard (argh! although Jackie said he was a perfect angel for them!), so don't hesitate- book your next vacation and book Jackie and Lambert!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was a little kid: starting at about 10 years old I pet set for my neighbors. I have watched, fed, and walked dogs of varying sizes and ages and have also fed and managed some cats. In my college town I have helped the Humane Society on occasion by taking a dog at a time to walk them and let them roam around and enjoy time outside the kennel. I’m a full time student at TCC, my Fall 2023 schedule will roughly be: Monday 1-7, Tuesday/Thursday 12-4, Wednesday 9:30-7. He was evident from the many pictures and videos I received multiple times a day that he was happy and took a liking to both of them. Jackie and Lambert took Wrigley on multiple walks, played in the backyard with him, brushed him (I didn't even ask them to!), and most importantly, showed him lots of love. Wrigley is a cuddler and from the photos looks like he quickly claimed his spot on the couch cuddling Lambert. They knew that Wrigley slept in his crate next to our bed, so Lambert even slept next to his crate every night! We really appreciated this. Jackie keeps a scrapbook of their Rover doggies that is proof of how much they love doing this! I would write more, but I just spied my 10-month old puppy digging in the backyard (argh! although Jackie said he was a perfect angel for them!), so don't hesitate- book your next vacation and book Jackie and Lambert!”

“Diana took great care of my Dog Wooly and was very understanding when my car broke down out of town and I couldn’t come to get Wooly as scheduled. She updated me daily on my dog’s condition and activities and gave him his meds as I instructed. Wooly will definitely love to stay with Diana again 🐾”

“Travis took great care of my big fur baby! He sent pictures every couple of days and it was evident that my dog was having a great time. In the pictures he looked happy, calm, and relaxed. My dog also made good friends with his dog so he had a playmate and was kept entertained. It really was like sending my dog to summer camp!”

We get worried leaving our dog due to some medical issues, but she let us come over and meet her and her dog beforehand so our dog could get used to her home.
