I owned my own animal care service business in Austin for about 4 years taking care of dogs and cats from north all the way down to south Austin. I currently work full-time as a dental assistant, and I am preparing to transition into dental hygiene school soon. About: I have been in love with animals since I was a baby. I grew up in a dog loving household. I have always had pets as long as I can remember. Dogs, cats, turtles, mice, fish, hermit crabs. My goal is to one day have a goat and a pig as well. I worked in a pet store that wolf puppies for 3 years and my primary job there was to take care of the puppies and to teach the perspective new families to potty train their new babies and what to expect for their specific breeds. I have also helped my parents train all of their dogs and sit for them when on vacation. It’s a full house but I love it. I currently work but have time in the afternoons and weekends to walk or check on your fur babies and let them go outside and play or just stretch their legs out of the kennel, whatever the needs may be. I have a large fenced in yard with plenty of room to run and play and a very friendly playful golden doodle that loves new friends. He gets along with all sizes and ages of dogs. My families dogs range from 3 lb yorkie to 90 lb golden doodle and a few in between. My baby is in his bedroom (kennel) when we are not home, one of my parents dogs does not require a kennel when we are not there so I do not require it as long as they are potty trained and do not chew.

Note: Medium to large dogs especially if they are anxious will be crated while I am out of the house for drop-ins and errands. This is for the safety of your pets and mine. I am generally gone for less then an hour or two but occasionally time away can be up to 4 hrs. I prefer pets that are crate trained for they find crates safe and comfy opposed to punishment. I just like to have this noted to be fair and honest. I absolutely need a meet with the larger dogs to be sure we are a good fit. I am always available for the tiny-medium dogs 🐕 🙂

On weekends, I have the flexibility to plan my time around feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and any specific routines each pet needs. As I grow on Rover, I plan to gradually expand my availability into weekdays as well. My goal is to eventually offer more flexible scheduling while still maintaining the same level of care, communication, and dependability that I provide on weekends. I make sure to follow all instructions exactly as provided by the owner, including feeding schedules, walking routines, medication needs, and any house rules to keep the pet’s environment consistent and stress-free. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain a calm, clean, and secure environment. I ensure doors are properly closed and locked, pets are always supervised during visits, and I stay attentive to anything that could affect their safety or comfort. I focus on building trust with each pet by being patient, gentle, and allowing them to adjust at their own pace. I also keep pet parents updated with messages, photos, and notes so they always know how their pet is doing. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, just as they would with their own family.

About: I am a trust worthy selflessness responsible mother, so I supply love and attention to your fur babies with friendly service as we all deserve to have. When It's my time to be responsible for your babies, they are always on my mind and they are my first priority when I'm off work. I'm a Substitute Teacher for the Ingleside ISD. My free time is spent with family and art. Usual days are cleaning, cooking, running errands, and picking my children up from school. Unfortunately I no longer have pets in my home due to personal reasons. They were well loved and at liberty. I would spend some of my time with them going on cruises, getting pup cups, and playing with their toys.

About: I have 3 dogs of my own. A corgi, a Pomeranian and a toy maltipoo. They are my world and bring so much joy to me. I love meeting and getting to know and love others pets that they adore I am not working at the moment so my schedule is open and willing to come whenever is needed. I love meeting and playing with new furry friends I have 3 dogs they are very friendly. We have a huge backyard with a doggy door all the fences are secured. We love to play outside

About: Welcome! My name is Kirsten and I am a resident of Portland Tx! I’m originally from Austin where I began my animal care journey. I owned my own animal care service business in Austin for about 4 years taking care of dogs and cats from north all the way down to south Austin. I’ve loved every minute of meeting all kinds of personalities from all pets and giving them the love and attention they need. I’m happy to do a meet and greet with your fur baby. I currently work full-time as a dental assistant, and I am preparing to transition into dental hygiene school soon. Because I already manage a structured schedule, I’m very organized with my time and make pet care a priority. My routine allows me to provide regular walks, feeding, playtime, medication (if needed), and plenty of attention. I love to take pups on walks In the neighborhood, play with their favorite toys and give them lots of rubs!
