Different animals react differently with new people and different environments. If there's a shy dog, I like to let them come to me and lead with a gentle and dismissive approach. I would encourage them to play or come for pets, but I would not force it because that is not their comfort level. Another may be a big ball of energy and thrive on fun, pets, and praise. I like to make sure they're comfortable and happy.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 16 with our own family dog that was a Yorkie. My husband and I have a labradoodle named Peach that 3 years old now. We take her on morning, afternoon, and evening walks and she is potty trained. Since I work from home, I have more time now to enjoy taking care of our Peach. I work from home full time so I have plenty of time to focus on your dogs needs! I am also available for boarding your dogs on the weekdays/weekends. About: I started pet setting because of my love of fur babies. To me, they are not pets, they are family. I cared for my Simon for the past 18 years. My house has been customized for him because he was a part of my family. From his own room with pet pictures and a fun chandelier, to the dog doors on our patio, to his own private section of the yard, my home is pet friendly. My home will be your fur baby's home away from home. I have experience with young playful pups all the way to senior dogs who require more delicate attention. My family is ready to assist you in your needs. I am a stay at home mom. My schedule typically involves taking my kids to and from school, sitting on the patio, going for walks around the neighborhood, shooting home decor youtube videos, and shopping. While fur sitting, I will typically be home. Your baby will have its own little room (the closet under the stairs with a baby gate). His room is only a few feet from my own bedroom and in the middle of the living room and kitchen. If your baby is housebroken, he will be able to walk around the house freely and I will take him on the patio and the playground in my backyard. If he likes walks, he can go on walks. If he is a senior or if it is too hot outside, I can take him for a walk in the pet stroller. I will also send videos and pictures throughout his stay. I have a large fenced in back yard. Your dog will not be outside alone. I also have an enclosed patio which is great for relaxing and getting fresh air without having to be completely outside.

We had a meet & get the day before so I could see their lovely home and big backyard which helped put my mind at ease. “Hillary did a great job! Great communication and attention to the things I made sure to tell her about my Tilly. This was the first time I used Rover. I’ve used conventional dog boarding and daycare places before but the convenience of Rover and the personalized care that my dog received is unmatched. I know I’ll be taking my girl back to Hillary in the future! I loved that I received photos and updates twice a day while we were gone. It gave me reassurance and peace of mind. I also really appreciate the flexibility of pick up and drop off times. I’ve got a crazy schedule at times and Hillary was very understanding and accommodating. That means a lot to me as I’ve quit taking my dog to places like Countryside Vet because of their hours or tendency to close early without warning. Bottom line; Hillary was great and I’ll be taking Tilly back to her in the future.”
