About: Since I was a young girl, I have always been fascinated by animals—particularly dogs. I begged my parents to get me my first pet—Jasper, a rescued Labrador retriever—at age 7. Taking care of Jasper was my main focus as well the odd assortment of fish and hamsters we had. When Jasper passed, and I graduated high school, my next door neighbor had a litter of golden retriever puppies. I was ready to have another animal, and that’s when Kensie came into my life. Kensie was my soul dog, and she passed away two years ago. We did everything together—going to dog parks around town, Zilker park, and even red bud (before the algae), and going to dog-friendly establishments in Austin. She was my best friend. Unfortunately, her last few months on earth were extremely challenging. I was up with her three to four times a night (sometimes more), administering multiple medications, and helping her stand/walk. When the time came to say goodbye, I could barely make the decision to let her go. I miss her so much, but because of my current living situation, don’t have the opportunity to get another dog. That’s where Rover comes in. I love animals, and am extremely responsible when it comes to taking care of someone’s pet. This will give me my ‘fix’ and also be a productive side hustle for me. About: We have raised 3 different dogs together. Two of those furr babies required medical care and special diets, so we are always very attentive and careful with all pets needs! We recently lost our precious boy River, due to his liver disease and we miss his presence tremendously. So having other pets over truly helps keep us going and having a boost of morale. With that being said, we will give your pet 100% of our attention at all times. You can trust your pet will be supervised and cared for all day. At least one of us is always home to supervise when we are dog sitting so your pet is never alone. We have a small dog park at our complex for some outdoor fun time, and can provide daily walks as well to ensure they get more exercise! We have made our home safe for your dog keeping certain things out of reach. I can update you regularly with picture updates as well!

I started doing pet sitting and drop in care accidentally a few years ago for some coworkers and it just blossomed into a part time job I love doing! I appreciated that a meet and greet was strongly encouraged as all of the dog’s safety is his priority. He lets the dogs roam as if they were in their own home. “Our 2 girls had a great time at Manny’s for boarding. Manny was professional from our first meeting and was well organized and answered all of our questions. During the stay, Manny sent us daily updates proactively with pictures, which gave us peace of mind that the girls were doing good. He also took care of my dog’s eye drops daily with no issues, which was a relief. Looking forward to our next booking!”
