About: We have raised 3 different dogs together. Two of those furr babies required medical care and special diets, so we are always very attentive and careful with all pets needs! We recently lost our precious boy River, due to his liver disease and we miss his presence tremendously. So having other pets over truly helps keep us going and having a boost of morale. With that being said, we will give your pet 100% of our attention at all times. You can trust your pet will be supervised and cared for all day. At least one of us is always home to supervise when we are dog sitting so your pet is never alone. We have a small dog park at our complex for some outdoor fun time, and can provide daily walks as well to ensure they get more exercise! We have made our home safe for your dog keeping certain things out of reach. I can update you regularly with picture updates as well!

He is a bit weary of strangers at first, but he will just hide until he gets to know you a bit and then you won’t be able to get him off of your lap. We have a gate in between the kitchen and the rest of the house so that the Chihuahua can have free rain to walk around and not have to be in his cage when we are not home. In the event that we have another animal in the house we can keep the Chihuahua in his cage. We also have two bedrooms and two baths that can be used to separate animals.The Chihuahua is very friendly and gets along great with the cat. He is also a bit skittish at first with strangers but once he gets to know you all he wants to do is give you kisses. He is very non-aggressive and barely ever barks. He is also very friendly. I feed my cat both wet and dry food twice a day in his food dish and he has water out constantly. I feed the dog twice a day, sometimes dry food, and sometimes refrigerated dog food. I let the dog out several times a day and we go for a daily walk as well. I clean the kitty litter box once a day. I snuggle and cuddle with both of them as much as possible, and play fetch with the dog at various points throughout the day.

We also have a fenced in backyard which can be seen from the inside of the house or the porch. We live in a one story house, but there are steps from the porch to the yard outback. My husband lives with me and has also grown up with cats and dogs. We currently have one male cat Santiago who gets along great with our male Chihuahua Juan Pablo and also got along great with my former senior Maine coon cat. He is a bit weary of strangers at first, but he will just hide until he gets to know you a bit and then you won’t be able to get him off of your lap. We have a gate in between the kitchen and the rest of the house so that the Chihuahua can have free rain to walk around and not have to be in his cage when we are not home. In the event that we have another animal in the house we can keep the Chihuahua in his cage. We also have two bedrooms and two baths that can be used to separate animals.The Chihuahua is very friendly and gets along great with the cat. He is also a bit skittish at first with strangers but once he gets to know you all he wants to do is give you kisses. He is very non-aggressive and barely ever barks. He is also very friendly. I feed my cat both wet and dry food twice a day in his food dish and he has water out constantly. I feed the dog twice a day, sometimes dry food, and sometimes refrigerated dog food. I let the dog out several times a day and we go for a daily walk as well. I clean the kitty litter box once a day. I snuggle and cuddle with both of them as much as possible, and play fetch with the dog at various points throughout the day.

About: Since I was a young girl, I have always been fascinated by animals—particularly dogs. I begged my parents to get me my first pet—Jasper, a rescued Labrador retriever—at age 7. Taking care of Jasper was my main focus as well the odd assortment of fish and hamsters we had. When Jasper passed, and I graduated high school, my next door neighbor had a litter of golden retriever puppies. I was ready to have another animal, and that’s when Kensie came into my life. Kensie was my soul dog, and she passed away two years ago. We did everything together—going to dog parks around town, Zilker park, and even red bud (before the algae), and going to dog-friendly establishments in Austin. She was my best friend. Unfortunately, her last few months on earth were extremely challenging. I was up with her three to four times a night (sometimes more), administering multiple medications, and helping her stand/walk. When the time came to say goodbye, I could barely make the decision to let her go. I miss her so much, but because of my current living situation, don’t have the opportunity to get another dog. That’s where Rover comes in. I love animals, and am extremely responsible when it comes to taking care of someone’s pet. This will give me my ‘fix’ and also be a productive side hustle for me.
