About: I have had dogs all my life...I love them. I have a female Shepherd mix and a Golden Retriever. One is 7 and the other is 6. They are fantastic dogs and get along great with other dogs. I'm home all day and don't believe in just leaving them outside. My girls, Leela and Bindi, go out back with me often and play with their toys and then they come back in with me. You could trust your dogs in my care if it's overnight or just for the day. He or she is guaranteed to enjoy their time here. I do have a 7 year old daughter and a 2 month old grandson so I could not allow dogs that are aggressive with children or other dogs. If you need any further info please feel free to reach out. I work from home so my schedule is pretty open. My dogs just hang out with me while I work and I have learned their cues when they need outside. Whatever your dog is used to is what we would do. “Nubia watched out very energetic golden retriever for over a week while we were on vacation. Her communication before, during, and after our dogs stay was excellent, it really helped with the " oh my gosh I'm leaving my baby for so long!". Our dog had a little bit of a booboo while he was with her and she did an amazing job letting us know what was going on and taking care of him like we would have if we were home. I highly recommended her for any and all pets and I will most definitely be using her in the future!”

Right off the bat, when I first met him, I got a great first impression and Sasuke took kindly to him (which is always a plus)….He was warm and friendly and was great with my pup. He made us both feel comfortable. During Sasuke’s stay, Juan sent me photos of my baby having fun, which was really nice. Definitely booking again.”
“This was my first-time using Rover to find someone to watch my Yorkie, Maxcee. I was a little hesitant at first because the last, and only, time we boarded her in a traditional kennel over a weekend was not a good experience due to her getting nervous around so many animals/larger dogs, some were aggressive at times. Since we had a longer vacation already scheduled, we decided to try and find an in-home dog sitter with experience that offered a smaller, more intimate setting for our fur baby. We looked on Rover and I came across Lisa and David's profile. They had very good "verified" reviews which was important to me but what also stuck out to me was that they only kept 2 dogs at a time which was very important as well. We decided to setup a meet and greet, and it went very well. Lisa and David were warm and inviting to us and our fur babies (my son also boarded his Morkie, Lola, at the same time so they could be together since he also needed a sitter for our trip, and it worked out perfect). The meet and greet with Maxcee and Lola went very well. During their stay Lisa was very attentive and caring to Maxcee (and Lola) and gave them both the time and attention they needed to feel comfortable and at ease. My baby girl can be a picky eater so there were a few times where Lisa reached out to me to let me know what was going on and how she was doing. We eventually figured it out and she was able to get her to eat some (thank you, Lisa, for your patience with Maxcee and for even feeding her at times to make sure she ate something). Lisa provided outside time in the sun which Max loves and she had plenty of play time with Lola which she also loves! She also provided lots of pictures each day, which I loved, showing what Maxcee was up to, and it put my mind at ease seeing how well she was adjusting while I was gone. I would definitely recommend Lisa and David for your dog sitting needs, especially if you have a dog like mine that does not do well in those large kennel environments. I will, definitely, use Lisa and David again should the need arise and hopefully I will have found something she really enjoys eating so she'll be less picky :)”
About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life and have a deep passion for providing safe, loving environments for pets of all kinds. As a dedicated animal lover, I’ve personally rescued and fostered animals, which has given me hands‑on experience with pets of different temperaments, needs, and backgrounds. At home, I care for my two friendly dogs, Rose and Oreo, along with our four cats, Binx, Frodo, Samwise, and our foster kitty Ying. Because of this, I’m very comfortable managing multi‑pet households and ensuring everyone feels comfortable, safe, and included. All of my pets are well‑socialized and get along, creating a calm and welcoming environment for visiting animals. Since I work from home, I’m able to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and attention throughout the day—whether that means playtime, walks, feeding routines, or just making sure your pet feels loved and secure. My long‑term goal is to open my own animal rescue, and every pet I care for is treated like part of the family. I work full time from home. I have flexibility in my schedule to care for pets such as feeding, medicine, frequent potty breaks and walks. I have a fenced in yard, dog gates for the stairs and master bedroom to keep the dogs out of areas they should not be in. I have crates for my dogs to sleep in or to stay in when I leave the house.
