About: As a kid in California, I loved cats but never FULLY understood them until I was an adult. Cats, as they say, are a lesson in consent; they are the Zen masters who teach us the way; they are the speaker through whom we come to accept what the world actually is; they are a puzzle one must be humble enough to accept we're still trying to figure out; they are the authentic companion who can join us within our solitude. Dogs were domesticated to be obedient and friendly and dependent but cats walk alongside us as if they're also equally as interested in figuring out the complex and confusing world as we are. I've been a full-time pet sitter for 10 years and most of my sits were with cats (there were lots of pack-style boarding in Salt Lake City for dogs!); at the start of our relationship, calm and quiet on my part allowed the kitties to open up and therefore "teach" me via their behavior what they were saying. When animals, especially cats, know we are listening, they "talk" more, and inevitably, establishing the expectation that I'd "listen" created a positive feedback loop allowing them to feel safe, have fun and live the best life they can while their family was away. During visits, I allow cats to call the shots: do they want to play, eat/clean/nap, snuggle, enjoy an open window, have an audience while they zoomie around? It all depends! “I cannot recommend Katy enough! She went above and beyond while caring for my cat, Frida, who is still adjusting after our recent move. Contractors showed up unexpectedly during the week, and she thoughtfully asked if they’d be back so she could plan her visits around them; just to help minimize stress for Frida. That level of care and consideration meant so much. Her visit reports were incredibly thorough. She detailed every litter box scoop (including type), and when Frida got into human food in the pantry, she not only took photos but also made sure the food was secured so it wouldn’t happen again. At one point we thought our auto feeder had failed, and she troubleshot it until she confirmed it was working properly. Frida, who is usually shy, warmed up to her instantly and showered her with affection at every visit. It was clear she has a natural gift with cats; she truly is the cat lady of Lockhart. I’d be thrilled to book her again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone. If you want someone who treats your pet like their own and gives you total peace of mind, she’s the one!”

About: I'm such an animal lover. Grew up with dogs, horses, cats and many different animals. I have a very sweet 7 years old fixed male Goldendoodle and a 15 years old male Pug who would love to make some new friends! I live in a nice size house with a locked fenced backyard. Your dog/s will feel like he/she is at home here. They are allowed on the couch to rest and I have a big nice Kuranda bed and couch they can lay on. Plenty of dog toys and chews here. I let dogs out in a fenced yard very often. Love to take them out for walks too! I'm always at home and I will be very communicative via texts I will send pictures to the owners daily so they know their babies are happy and safe :) I'm always at home. I work short hours from 5-8pm. They will go outside to potty often. Every 2-3 hours. A big bowl of filtered water is always provided here. I have a fenced yard and got a big play pen crate if your dog prefers to be crated. I will feed am/pm and even noon if they eat 3x a day.

As a college student with a flexible schedule, I have time throughout the week to provide attentive care for your pets. My availability varies depending on classes and work, but I am available for drop-in visits, walks, and pet sitting throughout the week and on weekends. When caring for your pet, I make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship while maintaining their regular routine as closely as possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow all feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special care requests. I take time to learn each pet’s personality, routines, and needs to help them feel secure while you’re away. About: I seem to be a magnet for strays and have accumulated 3 rescues. As I cannot take on any more, I now seek to visit other fur friends in my free time 🤗 I currently have a very flexible schedule, so I can hang out with your baby as long as needed to ensure they get what they need from their visit! About: I have had a few dogs from friends and families that I have taken care of over the years for free. I have my own dog that I have had since he was a puppy that is very well trained would love to meet other dogs and experience new fur friends. I work at home and I take breaks very very often. I go to my backyard and even parks just to walk. I would love to take them for walks as well. I have a fenced in backyard and my dogs go out often. Morning, Afternoon, and 2 times in the evening. Just to make sure dogs use the bathroom and get that energy out before they fall asleep.
