“Christy is one of the best dog sitters we've ever had. She and her family are wonderful people who genuinely love dogs, and it truly shows in the way they care for them. She went above and beyond to make sure our dog was comfortable and happy throughout his stay. Our dog is a very picky eater and refused to eat his kibble, so Christy thoughtfully offered him eggs, cheese, chicken jerky, and even some of the homemade food they prepared for their own dogs to ensure he was eating well. Our dog also enjoyed plenty of playtime. Their large backyard gave him lots of room to run around and burn off energy, and Christy even gave him ice to help him stay cool in the hot Houston weather. One thing we especially appreciated was Christy's excellent communication. She kept us updated throughout the stay and shared plenty of photos and videos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind and allowed us to see how happy and comfortable our dog was. We couldn't have asked for better care. If you're looking for someone who will treat your dog like a member of the family, I highly recommend Christy. With fostering I have been around and taking care of different breeds of dogs, sizes of dogs and dogs with certain needs that needed to be addressed. I have worked with fostering dogs for about a year now with an organization stationed out of Pennsylvania. “This is my second time booking with this lovely couple. They are so warm and welcoming every time and make it so easy to feel like it’s a safe environment for my dog. Recently I had to book a little last minute but they were happy to have him and helped me out tremendously!! A close family member promised me to take care of my dog while I was away at work working 12 hours, unfortunately it turned out that they were not taking care of him. So it was a relief to bring him back to Claudia and Mark knowing he was in good hands. Honestly I didn’t know how spoiled I was with them by how many pictures they send to me during the day. I had to book with someone else another time and they only sent me photos after I dropped him off and then after I picked him up, probably only like 4 photos after an 8 hour day. About: I was active in the rescue community for 12 years, and served as Executive Director for a local animal shelter for 4 years. I fostered lots of dogs during that time, including many medical cases. Also helped 3 dogs birth pups! Jason is the one that helped me find my love of dogs with our first pup many years ago. Our goal is to give you peace of mind while you travel and provide a mini vacay for your pup! -Karen I am a stay at home dog mom so my schedule is very flexible. When I am gone during the day, it is just for quick errands like to the store or the gym. My backyard is my "office" and I love spending time outside with the dogs. We also have a pool if your pup likes to swim. We also get walks in each morning and if your dog likes car rides, I am happy to take them on field trips to the park too! Jason is usually home after his work day and is my back up if needed in the evenings or weekends. The dogs love him just as much as they love me!! When I board your dog in my home, your pup will get the same love my dogs receive. They are allowed on the furniture as we love to cuddle while watching tv. I do have a pool and will always be outside to make sure your dog is safe. My gates to the backyard are locked as safety is my first priority. I do have an oversized backyard so plenty of room to run and if your pup swims they are welcome to the pool! All dogs get a walk each day and I also love to take them on outings if allowed. We have lots of play time and outdoor time so pups sleep soundly at night.
