Personalized care for your dog or cat - Hornsby Bend

Highly-rated overnight sitters - Hornsby Bend
“Ivon was fantastic with Sasha. She made sure our Sasha was happy and well taken care of! I received pictures, and messages from Ivon throughout Sasha's time with her, making sure were up to date with her every move. I would highly recommend using Ivon if you plan to board your fur babies! Definitely using her next time!!!”

“Sarah was great to our pup! She shared sweet photos and updates throughout the visit. I learned from Sarah about a different style of leash that is much more comfortable for our pup!”

“Amber is the BEST dog sitter. She loves my dog like she is her own. Amber sends photos and videos so I can see my dog is happy! My dog loves her so much that she will try to jump out of the car when we pull up!”

“I must have done something right in a past life to have found someone as caring, amazing, and intentional as Kate to look after Princess. I got photos and videos everyday of her playing and having a good time, and she came back happy as ever. It was my first time leaving for over 2 weeks, and I was nervous, but all that went away when I saw my pup was in the best hands. I recommend to everyone.”

“Cassandra and Jason were AMAZING - the best Rover care we have ever experienced. We booked them for an extended stay on short notice when our initial plans changed. They were so communicative and always sent prompt updates & photos. They took Junie on numerous walks and were always asking about her routine to maintain consistency. We feel so fortunate to have found Cassandra and Jason, and I would recommend them to anyone that wants the best care for their pets. We’ll be sending Junie their way for all future stays!”

“Highly recommend!! Lilia took care of our tiny chihuahua and chi-beagle boy during our month overseas. It was so stress-free to get her proactive daily updates with the cutest pictures of our pups enjoying themselves! It makes me comfortable that Lilia limits the number and size of the dogs, especially with our little guy being only 3 pounds. Lilia even made a little birthday hat for our boy on his birthday! She is a gem, and I am so happy to have found her.”

“Derrick is a very sweet gentleman who takes great care of any animals in his care. He sent me updates as well as pictures and took my dog on walks. Jacques came back tired from all the fun he had over the weekend and is sleeping like a baby. We will only be working with Derrick moving forward, thanks again!”

“Our 8 month old Aussie pup had such a good time when staying at Amanda’s place for 4 days!! Got to play with a bunch of friends and received many video updates from Amanda (and her husband, Phillip) during his time there. Will definitely rebook!”

“Mariana took such great care of my dogs. I had a last minute emergency and she was able to take them in. This was my first time using Rover for them, but she gave me such peace of mind with her photos and updates, and the dogs looked so happy playing in the backyard with water sprinklers which is awesome. They are high energy and demanding dogs but she did not seem to have any issues and is clearly a very experienced sitter. They came home looking very happy, worn out, freshly bathed and in beautiful bandanas 🥹 I’ve already booked Mariana again for my next trip. Thank you soooo much for taking wonderful care of my babies!”

“Aimee was great as always with our little fluffball. She went above and beyond to take care of Coda as well as provide a fun, playful space for him to play with other fur pals who also joined him during the holiday. Coda is definitely missing his fun crew for sure! Until next time!”

“Alex was great, communicated with us throughout Chessy’s stay and clarified instructions on how to set our anxious girl up for success. Loved getting photos of her each morning and with other Rover friends!”

My dog loves to people watch through the window & play with his toys. He does amazing with other pets as well!
“Gracie is the BEST! My original sitter canceled last minute, and she swooped in within an hour to save the day (and my birthday trip). I can’t recommend Gracie enough — if you’re looking for someone to watch your Dog go with her.”

“Michelle did a wonderful job caring for our two cats while we were out of town. She was quick to set up an in-person meet and greet. She was reliable and sent us updates and photos, and helped check in on the house. We will definitely hire her again!”

About: Beyond caring for my own two cats since kittenhood, I’ve provided weekend stays and drop-in visits for family and friends’ cats. I understand how important it is to maintain routines, keep things clean and consistent, and provide both companionship and space depending on the cat’s personality.
“Julian was amazing with our two cats! He showed up everyday on time and left detailed descriptions of what he and the cats got up to! We looked forward to the fun pictures and videos he would send at the end of each visit. We know our cats were in great hands while we were away and we will be booking with him again in the future!”

“We left our kitties in Ashlynn’s care with much less notice or instruction that I would have normally wanted — and a historic rain storm even blew in! But she wonderful job making sure the kitties were cared for and cuddled for more than a week. She even cleaned cat barf off a comforter. We really appreciate her exceptional dependability & kindness!”

About: I’m a cat owner with experience caring for multiple cats with different personalities, routines, and comfort levels. I understand that cats need patience, consistency, and individualized attention to feel safe and comfortable. Whether your cat is playful and social or shy and independent, I make sure they receive attentive care, clean spaces, enrichment, and plenty of affection on their own terms. As someone who currently has 4 cats, I’m very familiar with multi-cat households and the importance of creating a calm, stress-free environment.

“Zelor was great! He was super quick to respond and very accommodating. We literally booked him just hours before we needed his services. Our boys just needed some company while we went out for a non-dog friendly dinner reservation. We’re so glad Zelor was available and we will definitely use his services again for any future trips!”

“I was very happy and satisfied with the service I received from Alonso and his wife Eva. They treated my dog Charlie with compassion and affection and truly cared for him like he was part of their family. It gave me great peace of mind knowing Charlie was in such kind and attentive hands. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter. Thank you both so much! If I ever need doggie daycare again, I will definitely use your services.”

“Chris and Callan were absolutely wonderful. They helped me at the last minute with daycare and were friendly, flexible, and responsible. My dog, Sevi, seemed to feel immediately at home in their house, even venturing up the stairs on her own to explore minutes after I dropped her. She came back at the end of the day happily tired and calm.”
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats my entire life. I have had my own personal dog for 14 years. I love caring for any type of dog or cats- small, big, young and senior. We currently have adopted a new fur baby of our own so if you are requesting overnight boarding I hope your fur baby is ready to have fun with ours. I am currently an elementary teacher so depending on the holiday/ summer breaks I am available anytime of the day! On school days I leave around 7am and return around 4pm. My partner’s schedule varies and is flexible, I am also very flexible if you decide last minute you need to change your schedule. I have a private backyard your dog can run around in. My neighborhood also has a great dog park with tons of friendly dogs. I also love going on long walks to get your pup tired out. I always double check that all the doors are locked, gates are shut and the crate (if aplicable) are closed.
“Jen took great care of my little best friend! He was excited to arrive and meet the dogs of the house and they were excited to meet him! It is immediately obvious that Jen is a bone-a-fied (pun intended) Dog Person!”

“We have been loving getting to know Ms. Aimee and her neighborhood. Fable has gone on lots of adventures with Ms. Aimee and is so excited for daycare. Thank you for all your love and care”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid but have been a dog owner for over 15 years. I understand that all pets have their own needs and behaviors and I have dedicated myself to caring for others pets the same way as my own: with patience, understanding, love and lots of belly rubs and pets. I would love to help you and care for your pet(s)! Let’s chat about your pet(s) needs and what makes their tail wag! 😊 I work from home every day so that way your pups will not be alone and they will have plenty of attention, play time and care! I live in a very dog friendly neighborhood. My neighborhood is safe for walks, we even have walking trails and our own neighborhood dog park!
About: Hi! I’m based in Northeast Austin and a lifelong dog lover. 🐾 I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. I also have a dog of my own who is truly my pride and joy, so I understand how important it is to know your pup is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. Because I’m home full-time, your dog will get plenty of attention, supervision, and love throughout the day; no long stretches alone. Whether your pup loves playtime, walks, or just relaxing with lots of cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and cared for like part of the family. 💕 I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your dog is in great hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your pup! My schedule is open throughout the week and weekend. I’m available between the hours of 8:00am - 8:30 pm. Can be flexible if needed! :) I am very respectful and caring. I will follow any rules or directions you have for me while caring for your pets. They will be treated like they are apart of the family!
“Elizabeth and Adrian were absolutely amazing with Nala! From the moment we dropped her off, we knew she was in great hands. They were caring, attentive, and made sure she felt comfortable and loved throughout her daycare stay. Nala had an absolute blast, especially making a new furry best friend, Niki! It was so heartwarming to see how much fun she had playing, socializing, and coming home happy and tired after a full day of adventures. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of our girl. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we’ll definitely be booking with you again. Highly recommend Elizabeth and Adrian to anyone looking for kind, trustworthy, and loving pet caregivers!”

“Alice took great care of our two pups during their day care stay with her. She was communicative and sent regular updates and photos during their day care stay with her. She followed instructions in their care sheet and was flexible with pick up and drop off times. I would definitely recommend her!”

About: TLDR: Goober is a 2c year old goober who is depressed when he doesn't get to play with friends. Sitter has 30+ year of extensive care experience with large and small animals. There is a 7 year old in the home and we ask that your dog be respectful of kiddos. He is at his Dads every other weekend so you might be with us when he isn't there. Also, most dogs ignore the kid because Goober is the main attraction. I'm very experienced in animal care and will take the best care of your dog. I'll also offer suggestions and input in making your dogs experience the best possible experience. --- Hi! I'm Rhiannon and this is Goober. Goober is a 2 year old akita/pyrenees/super mutt mix who is playful, happy, eager to please and very energetic. He loves being our family dog but he misses playing with dog friends and would love a dog sleepover with your pup. He's friendly, easily corrected by more alpha dogs, and can't stop/won't stop (till nap time in his crate). I'm Rhiannon, and I have so much animal care experience it's not even funny. I owned a horse for 30 years! (We just said goodbye to him last year at 33) and have cared for all aged animals for decades. I had a special needs pug and I used to rover all the time other special needs dogs when she was alive. I'm comfortable with basic medical care/first aid and basic training. I have a pretty solid routine so your dog will be on a schedule! We decided to get back to some Rovering so that Goober could show his true Southern hospitality to other active and playful dogs when their parents work long hours or are out of town. We've had wonderful times with our Rover sitters and wanted to provide affordable and quality care when we were available. This is for fun for us! We would be looking for all types of dogs, from other active and playful dogs to senior pups and everyone in between. We'd love for your pet to come over and enjoy our fenced in backyard, long walks/rides in the nature preserve next to our neighborhood, South Walnut Creek Hike and Bike and Boggy Creek Greenbelt. Dogs are fed twice a day (that can be modified if necessary) have a relatively stable routine of eating, playing, walking, napping, sunning, eating, playing, napping, walking. If your pup has special needs, separation anxiety, or behavior related to being in another place, let me know! We can work together to ensure your dog doesn’t have behaviors that would hurt himself or harm property and ensure they have a relaxing time with us. I want your dog to be relaxed, chill, and be so excited to come to our house when y'all are busy or out of town. I can give subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, medication, basic first aid if necessary. Since most dogs don't LOVE younger kids, we ask for a meet and greet if you aren't sure about your dogs behavior with a kid and to make sure the vibe is good with Goober. but if your dog is comfortable with kids or we've sat for you before, then just book us! But I'm very cautious with all dogs and kids since MOST dogs find being around children stressful (that being said, PLEASE leash your dogs when you are around children in public parks and playgrounds and always supervise kids and dogs :) My son is educated in bite prevention and respecting dogs, but I'm very careful! I usually ask all non-neutered/spayed or not-yet neutered/spayed dogs and male dogs who have a history of marking to bring a belly band to have on hand so that my 100-year-old original hardwood floors and my cheap amazon carpets don't get tinkled on. Most male dogs do mark in the house initially since there is a another male dog in the house. It just makes the visit go smoother and is good to have on hand anyway. Easy to get one delivered by Chewy too in prep for an upcoming stay. I work from home so the doggie will rarely be home alone and if I do have to go somewhere, I'll schedule them to nap while I'm gone in between play sessions. Please ensure your dog is crate trained and provide a crate (if you don't have one, I do have some). If you dog prefers to be gated in a place like a bathroom or laundry room, I have gates too. Kongs/Woof toys will be given whenever I leave so it actually is an enrichment time for them. I try not to leave new dogs home alone until they are comfortable in the house- I want them to have a good stay! And if I do I often bring them for a car ride. Here is a recent schedule from a sit I did: 6:30-7:30 am: Wake Up, Backyard Play Time, Breakfast 7:30 - 9 am: Play and Morning Walk 9 - 9:30 am: Enrichment in crate (Woof) 9:30 am - 12 pm: Morning Nap (in crate) Between 12 pm - 2 pm: Indoor Play and Outdoor backyard time 2 - 2:30 pm: Enrichment in crate (Woof) 2:30 pm - 5 pm: Afternoon Nap (in crate) 5 - 6:30 pm: Backyard play and indoor play 6:30 pm - 8 pm: Evening Walk 8 pm and on: Bedtime (in crate) The safety of the humans are the utmost priority for our household, that is why we ask for a meet and greet if you are unsure how your dog will be in our house. But we do hope to build long term sitting relationships with folks because we do really love dogs and Goober does get lonely and wants his buddies. It is essential that my clients entrust me in taking the best care of your dog, and I think you'll get to know me quickly that the dogs truly have "the life" at my house. The environment is dog safe, with a fenced in back yard, and the house is kid/dog proof. There ARE chickens but they have a separate, secure run and will not be coming into contact with your dog. Goober tries to catch them and then pluck the feathers out of their butt, so as long as your dog isn't a "proven" chicken killer, we should be good. If your dog is like Goober and has a strong prey drive and looking for a snack, I just keep the chickens in their coop when your dog is out in the backyard (usually dogs get backyard morning and evening. Chickens get their run during the day). Let me know if you dog can scale a 4 ft. fence!

“Only left my large dog (Ace) with Richard for a boarding day, but could tell Ace was comfortable with him. Richard sent photos and had Ace ready for an early pickup. Hope to use him again.”

“Josie was great to work with! She was very kind, was always on time, and took good care of my dog. She also accommodated a last minute schedule change, which we really appreciated.”

“Madeline is the best! She gives such incredibly detailed Rover reports and always sends tons of pics. I’m SO at peace when I travel knowing that my pup will be very well taken care of under Madeline! can’t recommend her enough :)”

“Wow! What a great experience with Lakeisha! She was on time, Sat and talked to me about her history…very friendly, asked question about my dog, the whole 9 yards! My 90- pound dog really took to Keisha. She took him on a 30-minute walk and sent video while they walked. He was a well- behaved, happy to be on a walk dog!! I think she and my dog made an instant connect. He was happy when he got back and so was I. Lakeisha will be here 3 days a week and my pup and I look forward to it! I highly recommend Lakeisha!!”

“Lucia was EXHAUSTED after her walk! It was perfect. She is so sweet and even had an earlier time available to come which was amazing. 10/10 most definitely recommend her Lucia approved as well”

About: Hello! My name is Hannah. I have a 2 year old professionally trained black lab/German shepherd mix named Ziggy that weighs about 50 lbs. He has been raised around children in our neighborhood and is very well socialized. I've had dogs growing up my entire life and prior to my current dog, I rescued a black lab/pit bull mix that lived 15 wonderful years. I feel passionately that my dog is my family and I understand wanting to leave your baby in the care of someone who will take care of them like you do. I'm the go-to person for my friends when they need someone to watch their animals. I've had experience with boxers, rottweilers, yorkies, chihuahuas, (puppy and senior) and everything in between. After many years, I decided to go back to school to get my Master's in Humanitarian Law. I'm currently on a break from studying because I need to make the money I need to finish my degree. My husband has recently retired and we have been enjoying spending our days with Ziggy in the interim. Taking care of animals allows me to work a flexible schedule and enjoy my time with my family before I go back to school. We frequently take Ziggy swimming, for hikes, and to play with his favorite toy (Chuck-It). Looking forward to hearing from you! I'm currently unemployed and have a very flexible schedule. Our days currently revolve around my husband and I's dog Ziggy. We typically work in our garden, are working on decluttering our house, and are enjoying trying new recipes. We take Ziggy to exercise for at least an hour every day (whether that's walking, swimming, or playing fetch). Our dog is part of our family - he is allowed on the furniture and has a large collection of well-loved toys. We typically work on maintenance training during exercise and meal times. Ziggy knows how to place, shake, sit, and lay down on command (most of the time). We use a gentle lead when walking Ziggy to avoid pulling. Ziggy can be a bit spoiled with his food and sometimes needs a treat in the mix to entice him to eat. In our neighborhood, my husband has known all our neighbors for over 20 years. We bought our home in 2019 to be close to those neighbors and to have a community. While we have a fence that closes off our front yard/street, we took down the fence separating us from our neighbors to encourage that sense of community. On a typical day, we will let Ziggy out in the backyard and look up to see him playing with the neighborhood children (around age 5) out in the backyard. My brother and best friend rent rooms in our house and also love Ziggy dearly. There is a 5 year old cat that is an indoor/outdoor cat. He mostly keeps to himself but is very comfortable around dogs. If watching a dog at your house, I'm comfortable with a long list of requests for care. I'm comfortable administering medication, following a special diet, and/or doing anything that's needed to follow your pet's routine and make them most comfortable. I'm happy to meet ahead of any pet sitting requests if you would like to meet me and introduce me to your pet ahead of your departure. I'm happy to send updates/pictures as often as needed. Although I have the list pretty much memorized, I do keep a list of all foods and essential oils that are toxic to dogs. I've been around a variety of dog personalities and don't mind being patient with dogs that may be more anxious or prone to separation anxiety.
About: As a dog mom to both a senior dog and a young pup, I understand that every dog has different needs and personalities. I have experience caring for senior dogs, including giving oral medications and providing extra patience and comfort, as well as keeping younger, energetic pups active and engaged. I'll care for your pets like they're my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you're away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine since I work from home 4 out of 5 weekdays and have weekends free. My schedule is pretty low-key, which gives me the flexibility to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, walks, playtime, or cuddles or whatever your pup needs to feel comfortable and cared for. I do my best to keep your pet on their normal routine so they feel comfortable while you're away. Whether I'm caring for them in my home or yours, I'll follow their feeding schedule, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any special instructions. I'll also make sure they get plenty of love, attention, and updates, so you can have peace of mind knowing they're in good hands.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have experience caring for them at every stage, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. My own beloved dog recently passed away at 16 years old, so I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy to care for a pet. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I truly miss having pets around and would love the opportunity to care for yours when you can’t be there. I’m reliable and committed to making sure every pet feels well cared for in my home. I love spending time with animals and can easily incorporate them into my daily routine. Them being well cared for is my prioritization. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so I can provide attentive care, plenty of potty breaks, walks, and playtime throughout the day. I am also quite active, so if the pet needs long walks, they are perfect for my daily walks! Any type of pet fits in my life, from an energetic puppy who needs extra activity to a senior dog or cat who prefers a slower pace. My priority is always making pets feel comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine and any special care instructions so I can minimize stress.
About: I understand that every pet has a unique personality, routine, and needs. That’s why I take the time to get to know them and create a comfortable, stress-free environment whether I’m walking, sitting, or dropping in. I’m also happy to administer medications, follow special diets, or keep up with training cues you’re working on. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life—it’s something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize. I’ve structured my schedule to be flexible so I can give each pet my full attention, whether that’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or overnight stays. I’m usually up early and keep my calendar open for pet care bookings throughout the week, including weekends and holidays. What to Expect: ✅ Daily updates with photos and notes ✅ Flexible scheduling ✅ Clean, respectful care of your home ✅ Emergency preparedness & basic pet first aid knowledge ✅ Bonded & insured (if applicable) I know how important it is to feel confident and relaxed when leaving your pet in someone else’s care. Let’s set up a meet & greet—I’d love to learn more about your furry friend and how I can help.

Your dog will be begging for another visit once they meet me, Lulu and Batman!

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life thanks to close friends and family with pets. Growing up, they jokingly called me "the dog whisperer" because I was loved by every dog I met. Whenever I’d visit someone’s house, I would immediately seek out the dogs and spend most of my time playing with them! I started pet sitting with my family 6 years ago, and independently 2.5 years ago. I consider myself a beginner-to-intermediate sitter; while I don't have the consistent lengthy experience of some full-time sitters, I am fully confident in my abilities to handle all of the essential care basics like walking, feeding, and waste clean-up. Currently, I care for a wonderful family's dog and cat whenever they go on vacation (usually for about a week at a time). During these drop-ins, I handle walks and feedings along with plenty of playtime and some litterbox maintenance. I also make it a priority to send frequent photo updates with a quick recap of our day, because I know just how much you miss your babies when you're away! I'm a new grad on summer break so I have a pretty open schedule! I work a part-time job, but if you're booking 2 weeks in advance or more it shouldn't be a problem. If less than 2 weeks still reach out because there's a good chance I'm still available! Safety is very important to me, so I make sure to double check any locks and doors. I know every situation is different, so we would go over any security concerns, house rules, and procedures beforehand.
“Nancy is simply amazing — truly a beautiful soul. While we were away for three weeks, she took exceptional care of our German Shepherd and gave us complete peace of mind. She consistently went above and beyond, and even took the time to help my mother with our elderly dog as well. We feel incredibly fortunate and blessed to have found Nancy. I sincerely appreciate everything she has done for our family and cannot thank her enough. Highly recommended.”

About: I had an older dog for four years that I love to take care of. I am flexible with the activity levels of your pets. I work remotely. My job is flexible, so I work from my home or somewhere else. I also am flexible on weekends for pet care. My complex is in a safe area and has an accessible walking trail. I have reliable transportation to get me to and from client’s home.
About: Being honest, it has always been incredibly easy for me to connect with pets, especially dogs. I now have a 2 year old shihtzu who I absolutely adore and spoil every day. Sometimes I feel like he needs a little brother or a friend to play with, and even when I’m out with him, you’ll still catch me trying to pet every dog we pass. I simply love them deeply. Before having him, I had a Chihuahua for 13 years, and she taught me so much about unconditional love. I’ve also cared for family and friends’ dogs whenever they needed help. One moment that really showed me how naturally I bond with dogs was during a family beach trip, we found a big Boxer in the backyard who barked nonstop and scared everyone away. I was the only one who tried to approach him calmly and understand him. After spending time talking to him through the fence, he eventually trusted me enough to let me pet him. Soon after, I was able to go into the yard with him, and he turned out to be the sweetest dog. My family was shocked at how naturally and confidently I connected with him. That experience, among many others, made me realize how much I truly understand dogs, their fears, their excitement, their need for love, and how much joy it brings me to care for them. I am a person that love to exercise, love to go out in walks, hiking and also I love to wake up early. I think that a weekly pet routine would be like a peace time for me. I live in an apartment with my husband and our sweet shihtzu. I’m very flexible and always follow any rules or routines you have: feeding times, portions, walks, medication, anything your pet needs. I’m also happy to do a quick free meet-and-greet beforehand so you can feel completely comfortable and confident with me taking care of your treasure!
About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats for over seven years and currently share my home with two dogs and two cats, so I understand all the different personalities, quirks, and needs that come with each furry friend. I’ve cared for pets of all ages and energy levels and have five years of experience as a dog owner myself. I’m comfortable giving medications to both cats and dogs, keeping routines consistent, and adjusting my care style based on your pet’s unique character, whether they’re shy, playful, energetic, or a senior who prefers gentle company. Above all, I’m loving, patient, and attentive, and I treat every animal as if they’re my own. I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule for pet care. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits, and I do my best to schedule them around my work meetings. I’m happy to follow your pet’s feeding, walk, and medication routines exactly as you prefer. I can’t host pets in my home due to roommates, so all of my care takes place in your pet’s own environment where they feel safest and most relaxed. I’m very mindful of routines and instructions, and I make sure doors, gates, and feeding schedules are always handled carefully. Since I work from home, I can coordinate visits around my work meetings and spend quality time with your pet, making sure they feel secure, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.
