About: I’ve had experience with both dogs and cats, having been a dog owner myself and currently a volunteer foster in the DFW area. I have cared for all ages — including puppies, kittens as young as 1 week old, adult cats/dogs and senior dogs. I hope to care for your pet be it in the comfort of their home or ours. Lots of room in the backyard for zoomies! I do work full time but have the flexibility to work from home. I typically go into the office 3 days a week and do half days as I occasionally pet sit or care for foster animals. Happy to talk about arrangements or flexibility! We do not have any permanent resident pets in our home, just the occasional fosters. We do crate when away from home, but pets have full roaming capabilities when we’re home. When I house sit for other homes, I take it very seriously to protect the owner's home and dog- keeping doors closed and locked, etc.

“Ernest was the absolute best!!! We had never used Rover before, and now, we will never go back! When we did the meet and greet with Ernest, he welcomed us into his backyard to sit and chat with him while Kato checked out the place and sniffed around. Chatting with Ernest was like talking to an old friend, he made us feel so comfortable and we left feeling so confident that Kato was going to have the best week with Ernest and his son. Ernest checked in daily and sent us pics and provided updates of how Kato was doing. He even took Kato to the vet when he got sick (was just homesick) from being away from us to make sure all was well, sending updates by the minute along with pics and letting us listen in over the phone to everything the doctor said. While all ended up being okay, Ernest was so professional and responsive in a scary situation and made us feel at ease. He took the absolute best care of Kato and our pup came home so happy. Ernest truly treated our baby like he was his own and we will for sure use Rover and Ernest again when we go out of town. 10/10 experience, could not be happier or more thankful.
