About: I've had dogs of all sizes my whole life. We cared for a senior dog who lived to 17, and now have a 9 year old dachshund and 4 yr old small dog mix. I am a full-time at-home dog mom, with lots of time to walk and play with pups. There is a park a block or two away from our home that we walk our pup to just about every day (when it's not too hot for him). I am a nurse and have a lot of experience caring for people, but animals are a special treat to care for. I am home full-time, with only occasional trips out. I do some part-time remote consulting, but have plenty of time throughout the day to play with and care for pets. My husband works from home full-time and loves interacting with animals too. We have no children. We have a fenced backyard and a 15lb dachshund who likes to play, but can also be kept upstairs with my husband if your dog prefers to be an only dog. Our dog is crate-trained, so we can care for crate-trained dogs and those who are not. We also would take your dog for walks if they like them.

About: Aside from my childhood large mutt and family cats, I cared for my dear Shih Tzu into her elder years, until she passed last winter. I think about and miss her everyday. Im familiar with senior care and the years when food needs to be frozen flat on a lick mat and play consisted mostly of sniffing and sitting. I’m excellent at coming up with stimulating activities and forms of play beyond fetch, but also am a hobbyist speed walker (easier on the knees than jogging!) and I NEED to get my 10k steps in every day. I’m a graduate student at UT Austin, taking the summer to focus on my thesis, which means I’m at home reading and researching and my schedule is my own. I always appreciate when a pet’s routine can jump start my day and am able to adapt to needs as they arise. Unfortunately my apartment is on the second floor so any boarders would either need to be able to climb or be small enough to be carried. My complex has a semi-fenced area and there’s a dog park not too far away. A smoke-free house, all cleaning supplies are kept in closed upper cabinets and trash cans all have lids or are raised.

About: I've absolutely loved dogs since before I can remember! I've had 3 sweet pups throughout my life, spent plenty of time volunteering at animal shelters and currently have a very lovable and sweet golden-retriever as a roommate. I've been dog sitting for families, friends and neighbors since I was 10, and as a recent college graduate missing my family dogs at home, I've been loving the opportunity to stay and hang out with other people's furry friends. I currently work from home, so I'm available to spend lots of quality time with them every day of the week! In the beginning I was pretty nervous since I didn't know how Lass would do with someone else walking her and having a new person in my apartment while I was gone. Heather was great because she offered to do a meet and great before out 1st scheduled walk to make Lass and myself feel comfortable. I'm so grateful for this meet up! Lass loves Heather and their walks. Between the super cute photos I get and the love that my dog receives, I couldn't ask for a better walker!”
About: I’ve had pets my entire life! I grew up with dogs that were tiny but mighty (very big attitudes). So I am very accepting of dogs of all sizes and personality types. I don’t know if it’s my dog-like personality, but dogs have always taken a liking to me. I have cats as well, so I can offer both services! I am available every weekday after 1pm to check in! I’m a college student, but I have lots of availability. Just tell me your schedule, and I can work my way around it! I will care for your pets as well as I take care of my own. People like to say that my cats are spoiled, but I think they are well loved. I understand that every pet family is different, my care will be personalized to what your pet needs.

Sarah’s home is very pet friendly and includes a large fenced yard for dogs to roam and play.
