About: Hi! Before moving to Tennessee, I lived at a 35-dog professional racing kennel on the North Shore of Minnesota. All adopted from different states and shelters. They are between the ages of 10 and 12, and 1 senior who we believe is about 16. They are only crated at night if I go out for an extended period of time, except Charlie, the old man, he is out 24/7. We live on a half acre, fully fenced back yard (5 ft aluminum with puppy pickets). They can get on the furniture if they want and I have dog beds throughout the house. My dogs typically get on very well with other dogs. I dog sit 2 dogs in my home a few times a year for a few days to a week at a time. 1 medium and 1 large. I have fostered various dogs for Big Fluffy Dog Rescue in the past and I have helped and run adoption events at Petco for about a year for Simpson County Animal Shelter/Friends of the Shelter in Franklin KY. I am a stay at home dog mom. I can pet sit any time of the day or week, for just a few hours, a day or overnights. I only leave the house to go to the store or run a few errands. Typically not out for extended periods. If I am dog sitting, I prefer to be at home as often as possible. I am always around my dogs. I have dog beds in all areas of the house. I keep an eye on them when they go outside. I play with them regularly. When I get a new foster dog, I usually will keep them leashed for a little while until they get acclimated and used to the other dogs. I ensure to follow the owners instructions very carefully, and check in with them as much as possible! I also make sure the pups feeling well, and stay in contact with owners as far as that goes.
About: I myself have a spunky 3 yr old border collie/shepherd mix. We have worked with a trainer to channel her high energy drive. Because of this, I have learned ways to overcome a lot of challenges dog owners face & how to build healthy bonds. With me, you wouldn’t be getting just a regular walk or play! We will learn cool things together & have so much fun while doing it 😎 In addition to my own current fur baby, I’ve owned two other pups as well as fostered back home in WI. I dog sit for friends, families, and neighbors. I treat your pups just as my own 🐶 I work M-F at home and have a very flexible work schedule as well as being completely free on weekends! I am able to do drop by visits and walks just about anytime you are needing! The same trust and care that my own receives is exactly what yours will too! I take great pride in ensuring all pups & homes are safe in my care.

“Michelle was fantastic! She has kept my pups on several occasions, and they were almost always on super short notice, but she came through every time. I have an elderly dog who has had multiple knee operations, that can be very anxious in new environments, and a husky that can be more than a handful at times, but Michelle is amazing and is able to meet their individual needs beyond what anyone could expect from a dog sitter. She is organized and professional and you can tell right off the bat how much she cares for all of the dogs that she cares for. I am so thankful to have her to take care of my pups when I can’t. I would highly recommend to anyone needing a sitter.”
