“Wow! Where to begin? My Dixie looked like she enjoyed her weekend. Lots of love and pictures. I wondered if she would want to come back home with me. But really the experience was great and Grace was attentive, caring, and I would definitely recommend! If I need a sitter while in TN, I will definitely pick yh. Thank you so much for loving my sweet girl!”

“Heather was great, our doggos had fun and we were sent videos daily! It was much nicer for our dogs to be with Heather and in her home than a clinical type setting of boarding them with the veterinarian clinic. We will definitely use Heather again!”

“Roy went above and beyond for our anxious and sometimes temperamental rescue dog Ginny. Ginny is a beagle mix with a history of separation anxiety, dog and people reactivity, and it’s been difficult to find a good dog sitting fit. Even though Roy had some serious life circumstances, he still agreed to watch Ginny since we had booked so far in advance. Ginny and Roy became buddies while my partner and i got to live it up for a week at Bonnaroo, without a care in the world. Roy was truly and amazing sitter and person - so glad we met and so appreciative for what he did for our girl. Thanks again Roy! ?”

“Gabbi and Justin were fantastic with my senior dog. They cared for her so well, they were absolutely wonderful to communicate with and went above and beyond for us. We will definitely book with them again!! Thank you Gabbi and Justin for an outstanding experience.”

“All I can say is crystal was fantastic with Lucky. Her dog and my dog got along so great!! I received lots of pictures everyday. I think he thought I dropped him off to camp. He looked like he was having so much fun. I would totally recommend Crystal for watching your fur baby.”

“Amanda was so helpful in watching our two pups on fairly short notice. She was very welcoming and gave tremendous attention to both pups. We highly recommend Amanda for all your dog watching needs and we will definitely use Amanda again and again. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed!”
“Stephanie really brought out my dog’s personality! T had the time of her life and I knew she was in good, qualified hands. I even learned a thing or two. I would definitely recommend Stephanie and will be back next year. *such cute photos too :)”

“She watched all 3 of our dogs in her house one is a Great Dane who is very clumsy and big. My lab mix is very skittish and she was patient and kind. Toward the end of their stay he had even started to hang out with her which is a big thing for cow. My dogs really enjoyed hanging out with her dogs, especially Remi who immediately wanted to play with my dogs. Overall I think they had an awesome time.”

“Maribel and her family were amazing! They took care of our dog for a week and he had a blast. She sent us pics daily and gave us updates. Our dog seemed so happy and content with them. She took such good care of him, it made me at ease while I was away. I highly recommend her. And her sweet boys kept him busy!”

“My pups had such a great stay with Adrienne! She communicated well throughout our trip and we got lots of photos. I appreciate that Adrienne was flexible with us on pickup time as our flight was delayed. Adrienne was such a great host and we will definitely use her in the future!”

“Maggie and Michael were great at looking after our fur baby. Very kind and flexible to our needs and regular photos and updates. Will definitely recommend and use again. Thank you.”

“Lyndsey was an amazing host. Frequent contact for photo and video updates. Excellent communication and had a very safe environment for our pup. 5 stars would 100% book again.”

“Our golden retriever had the best time! Katie is very responsive and kind. She has a beautiful property with lots of space for the dogs to run and play. Kristen, Katie’s friend who helps with the dogs, is wonderful! Great experience!”

“Sarah was fantastic! The atmosphere at their home and with their dog Odin was perfect for my pup. Sarah sent pics throughout each day and even a video and was always available. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a sitter for their pets.”

“We were so fortunate to find Pam and utilize her dog-sitting services (our first time to use Rover as well). It had been a while since we had boarded our two "girls", and we had a lengthy vacation in Europe planned. We connected with Pam through Rover and conducted a site visit. Great property and set-up for dog-sitting, and it was comforting to meet Pam, learn of her experience keeping pets, and were assured by her confidence and comfort level in keeping pets. While on our trip, Pam provided timely updates and photos of the girls, and even alerted us to a potential health issue with one of them. We had a great experience using Pam and highly recommend her!”

“Emma was wonderful from the first day we communicated!! Very responsive and my dogs could not have loved her more! They were very well cared for while we were away and we’re grateful to have found her!”

“Very good and professional service, Danielle takes time to write a detailed summary of her visits with pictures which is a big plus for us! She took great care of our cat. Highly recommended!”

“stephanie took great care of our cat! she did everything that was asked and even offered to do some extra things to ensure our cat was happy when we were away. she went above and beyond, and we’d love to have her take care of our cat again!”

“Madison exceeded all expectations! Our regular pet sitter had an unexpected emergency right before we left on a two week trip, the longest we’ve ever been away from our two fur babies. Needless to say we were devastated and left scrambling to find a reliable and trustworthy substitution. Madison did a meet and greet beforehand to explain her qualifications, answered any questions we had, and made sure to thoroughly understand the expectations of what we needed done to ensure peace of mind for us. She provided extensive details for us everyday and sent cute pictures of our animals so we could get a glimpse of how they were faring while we were away. She really takes the time to get to know the animals and it is reflected in her outstanding work ethic how much she truly cares. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone needing a sitter. Thank you Madison for providing excellent care for our babies, you made our vacation that much more enjoyable knowing there was once less thing to worry about back home!”

About: My parents still love telling the story of when they told me I was going to have a baby brother. I looked them straight in the face and said, “I don’t want a human, I want a puppy!” Safe to say not long after, I got my very first dog, Bella, when I was four years old. From that moment on, Bella was my best friend. We grew up together, and wherever I went, she was right beside me. She taught me what unconditional love, patience, and responsibility look like. After an incredible 15 years together, I had to say goodbye to my sweet girl, but the love she gave me is the reason I care so deeply about every pet I meet. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every dog in my care with the same love, patience, and attention I’d want for my own. Whether it’s keeping up with an energetic puppy, sticking to a senior dog’s routine, or simply making sure your pet feels safe and loved while you’re away, I’ll care for them as if they were part of my own family. Although I work full-time, pet care fits naturally into my routine. I make time before and after work for walks, playtime, feeding, and giving pets the attention they deserve. On my days off, I have even more flexibility for longer visits, exercise, and quality time. I believe pets thrive on consistency, so I always make it a priority to stick to their normal routine and provide reliable, loving care while their owners are away. I believe every pet is happiest when they can stick to their normal routine, so I do my best to keep things as consistent as possible. Before caring for your pet, I’ll make sure I understand their schedule, feeding routine, exercise needs, medications (if any), favorite toys, and any quirks or preferences they have. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat both your pet and your home with the utmost respect. I’ll provide plenty of love, playtime, walks, potty breaks, fresh water, and attention while keeping you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. If your pet stays in my home, they’ll have a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where they’ll receive lots of attention and affection. I always prioritize their safety, monitor them closely, and make sure they feel relaxed and at home. My goal is for every pet to feel loved, secure, and well cared for until they’re back with their family.

“Kaylee was great. Bella loved her as soon as she walked in for our meet and greet. Kaylee sent pictures and reported daily how Bella was doing. I would definitely use Kaylee again. 10 out a 10 without a doubt. Thank you!!!”

“Jill is a VERY trustworthy animal lover, and we are so grateful we found her! She takes such good care of Bubba our disabled cat and Gia. If you need someone to take care of your fur babies, this is the person to go to!”
“Alishia is a great neighbor and dog sitter! I highly recommend. She was communicative the whole trip and made sure my dog was fed, had time to potty, and even some cuddles. I felt my dog and home was safe with her visiting when I needed her. Even when my dog fell sick, she went the extra mile to keep me posted and checking on her. I’m glad she is local to Chapel Hill and will be using her services again.”
“Katie did a great job with caring for my 2 male cats for a week. One of my cats had been recently diagnosed with a medical issue. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing that Katie was staying at my house & frequently checking up on him.”

“This is the second time that Melanie has come to the house while we have been away for Luna, our cat. She does a great job of informing us how she’s doing and leaving pictures. We will definitely use her again when we need to.”

“Diana was amazing and incredibly sweet with our cat babies 😍 She not only fed them, but played with them, cleaned the litter and around the litter box! She went above and beyon, she was very respectful and professional, plus she is bilingual! Gracias Diana por tu profesionalidad y cariño con mis bebés 💚”

“Mike is a nice person and has done a fantastic job taking care of our cats. We had a couple of different quirks in our arrangement around some electronics like litter robots and auto-feeders. He did a great job with it and kept our kids happy. I would definitely recommend !”

“Sophie is wonderful! She is very organized, patient, and a great communicator. She took care of my 3 cats, all with different temperaments. She made sure they had food, water, treats, a clean litter box, and played with them. 10/10 would hire again and would reccomend.”

About: With 9 years of hands on experience caring for pets, I bring a flexible and intuitive approach to pet care that meets each pup where they are. Whether your dog needs a calm gentle companion, or a high-energy play, I adapt to their personality and needs. I have a little bit of experience with obedience training with puppies and can also care for senior dogs. I am currently only offering boarding, walks and drop-in visits but I am committed to making your dog feel safe, loved and right at home - even when you’re away! I am a recent graduate of UTC and just started working for Unum. I work from home most days but have to go into the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays! I’m available anytime that I’m not in the office as my at-home work hours are flexible. When caring for pets in your home, I first like to read the pets profile so I can see if there are any special instructions/needs that I need to know about. I offer a variety of services so how I care for your pet is based on what I am booked for. For walks, I like to find a safe/familiar place to walk them, like your neighborhood. I’ll usually walk them for the full amount of time and make sure they have water when we are finished. When dog sitting, I try to make sure I follow all instructions left by you, the owner. I usually make sure your pet has food, water, walks, and lots of cuddles/play time!

“Gabby did awesome, we've used her for years, glad to see shes stretching her arms and joining rover! Our dogs love her to death and she is great with them. All 3 are pitbulls and she has no issues Keeping them spoiled and happy! Would book her anytime ! A very responsible and respectful young woman .”

About: I have taken care of many dogs since I was a sophomore in high school, graduated in 2019. I volunteered and then became a worker at a groomer near me. Loved my job, and have cared for many animals since. Currently do not have a job, so I have a free schedule and nothing but love to give to the fur babies, including cats of course. I am very respectful to others homes and belongings. I only want to care for the animals, very trustworthy. If staying at my home, I am sure to take them out every hour, hour in a half unless given specific details. They have their free roam, I also have a pretty decent sized screen in back porch that they can run around a little in.

About: I have fostered over 250 amazing dogs, mostly seniors and special needs, so I have experience with most any medical or behavioral care. I have had dogs ages newborn to 16+ in my care, so I have experience with all the life stages. I have experience training dogs of all sizes, from 5 pounds to 150 pounds. I believe that my calming presence around animals set me apart to earn their trust. I am home nearly 24/7 and spend most of that with my personal pets or farm animals, so being with your pet would just be added into my routine. I have a fenced in yard. While my small inside dogs are very friendly, I am comfortable with separating if needed using crates or gates. My inside dogs are 10 pounds and under. Pets have access to all areas of my home, with supervision.

About: Hi! I’m a high school teacher who teaches culinary arts. At home, I have a golden retriever, Saffron and a Labradoodle, Leo. I live on 2 1/2 acres, one of which is fenced in and perfect for furry friends to run and play! I am a teacher and gone from 7 am to 3:30 pm, but my parents live next door and watch my animals when I am away. Growing up, my brother had a service dog who was part Great Dane and part Black Lab. He became part of the family! I think that’s what started my love for animals. Since college, I’ve had at least one pet. While in Culinary school, I worked long hours. For Christmas, I got my cat, Basil. She was at the door with a “meow” at the end of long days in the kitchen. When I began my career as a culinary teacher, I bought my first house with a back yard and almost immediately added my girls, Sage and Sketch to the household! I work full time as a high school teacher. but live next door to my parents who watch over my pets. They love them as if they were their own! I have an acre, fenced in back yard. My dogs love the country, running and playing in the back yard! They are house dogs, but love the chance to run as much as possible.
About: Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover and proud Rover Star Sitter with four years of experience and consistent 5-star reviews. Caring for dogs isn't just something I do; it's something I truly enjoy. Long before I joined Rover, I was the go to pet sitter for my family and friends whenever they traveled. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I have experience with basic training, nutrition, and helping dogs feel safe and comfortable in a new environment. Because I work remotely from home, your dog won't be left alone for long periods. I have the flexibility to provide regular potty breaks, walks, meals, playtime, and, of course, plenty of attention throughout the day. I know every dog is different, and I do my best to keep their routine as close to home as possible. After losing my own sweet dog a few years ago, I kept all of her favorite beds, blankets, and cozy spots. Your pup is welcome to make themselves at home. Whether that's curling up on a dog bed, relaxing on the couch, or exploring my securely fenced backyard. Well behaved dogs are treated like part of the family while they're here. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. My goal is to give you peace of mind and make sure your dog feels happy, loved, and well cared for from the moment they arrive until it's time to go home. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend! Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine because I work remotely from home and have a flexible schedule. That allows me to provide regular potty breaks, walks, meals, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day instead of leaving pets alone for long hours. Whether I'm caring for your pet in my home or yours, my goal is to keep them happy, comfortable, and as close to their normal routine as possible. In my home, dogs are treated like family. They have plenty of comfortable places to relax, access to my securely fenced backyard for supervised play and potty breaks, and lots of love and attention throughout the day since I work from home. I follow your feeding schedule, exercise routine, medication instructions (if needed), and any special preferences you have to help your dog feel right at home.
“We can’t speak highly enough of Adrienne! Our pups love going over to her house for boarding or for day care. We know they are so well taken care of and absolutely spoiled like they deserve! She sends adorable photos to update us on how everything is going, and always seems so kind and genuinely compassionate for our doggos. We are so happy to have found her for all our pet care needs!”

“Kristen was wonderful! She had great communication prior and during the stay, and I would definitely recommend her to watch your dog. She greeted us outside when we arrived and again when we picked up our dog, which made everything feel very welcoming and personal. Our dog was well cared for, and we would absolutely use her again if we need another pet sitter. Thank you, Kristen!”

“Communication was amazing and we will definitely be booking again in the future! Our pup has separation anxiety and knowing (and seeing because of cute update pictures) how well he did has shown us how comfortable he is with others without us there.”

About: With over two decades of experience in canine care, I've cultivated a deep understanding of dog handling and care that empowers me to make a positive impact. Starting as a 10-year-old caring for neighbor's dogs with twice-daily walks, I've consistently demonstrated reliability and dedication. Growing up with Golden Retrievers and now sharing my life with a standard size Goldendoodle named Penny, has not only strengthened my love for animals but also taught my children the value of compassion. My family, including my husband, two children, and I, along with Penny, are committed to providing your dog with constant companionship, attentive care, and a nurturing environment. Having trained dogs in basic commands and upheld the highest standards of pet care, I'm confident in my ability to unlock the full potential of your dog and provide exceptional care. Hi my name is Katie. As a full-time homemaker, my schedule allows for seamless integration of pet care responsibilities. Given my consistent presence at home, managing a routine that includes our current pets - a goldendoodle and a turtle - along with caring for our two children, is quite manageable. Consequently, incorporating additional pets would not significantly impact our existing schedule. I have a spacious yard of nearly an acre, which is not fenced. However, I am happy to walk your dog on a leash if required. My own goldendoodle and two children will ensure your dog has a fun time, and we have a variety of toys available. Additionally, if your dog requires solitude, we can provide a quiet space. During summertime we will have doggy pool available for your pup to cool off in.

“I can’t recommend Gabby enough as a dog walker! She’s absolutely fantastic with my pitbull, Mabel. From day one, it was clear that Gabby truly cares about dogs. About: I’ve taken care of everything from dogs, to cats, and everything in between!! I’m experienced with medications and many more things. Got a strange request? I’m there for ya! I am free every night and happy to travel wherever needed!! I love to spend some nice quality time with your animal!! I’m happy to sit and knit or go on as many walks as needed! About: My name is Hannah, but I go by Mikki. I have had pets since I was 15 years old and they have ranged from cats, dogs, and the exotic! I have a serious love for all the different types of fur-babies and am a proud pet parent myself! I’m the purrfect fit if you love someone enthusiastic about animals and their care, someone who is strict with rules and restrictions, and someone who is flexible! I have worked in a pet boarding type facility in the past and carry much experience wrangling dogs of all sizes and in all group sizes, with all different types of personalities. I also have a dog and cat myself. My daily schedule involves me waking up and letting my dog out while preparing their breakfast. After they eat, we get some snuggles in until it’s time to go potty. Later on, it time for dinner and then a nightly walk 30 minutes to an hour after dinner has been served. That ends our adventure for the day! For Drop-Ins: I stop by for feedings and enrichment for between 30 minutes to an hour. I make sure they care squared away and everything is locked up before I leave. For Walks: It’s simple … we just go for walks. 30 minutes to an hour or whatever set path and time per appointment. For House-Sitting: I set a time for me to come over. I stay for the duration of the appointment set and bring my own necessities so that I don’t have to leave the premises. I stay within your home, where your babies are most comfortable, and provide them with company and a set schedule. Before I confirm a booking, I will ALWAYS set up a meet-and-greet. I need to be able to sit down with the fur-babies and parents so we can get a good view of the vibes and to see if I would be a good fit. These meet-and-greets are NOT OPTIONAL and refusal will result in a CANCELED BOOKING! Sitting should be a comfortable experience for pet, pet parent, and sitter. Checking the vibes and getting details is critical for success.

“Shoshanna was so good to Rambo. He had a couple belly issues, she informed me & took great care of him through it. Highly recommend Shoshanna for anyone needing animal care.”

“Denise is responsive, flexible, communicative, and most importantly she took great care of my two girls (1 and 13 yrs old). I like that she dedicated a room in her home that's a nice, spacious, and clean area for the dogs to sleep, play, and eat. I'd book again!”

“Julianna took such great care of our hyper Goldendoodle and fragile Cavapoo! She kept me updated and sent pictures while we were away, which helped us feel more relaxed about leaving our girls. I highly recommend her!!”
