About: Hi! While I’m new to Rover, I’m not new to pet sitting. I'm a lifelong animal lover who's been caring for pets since I was 10 years old. From fostering a senior chihuahua to caring for 150 pound mastiffs, I have a wide variety of experience. As a dog owner myself, I know the importance of having someone you trust to take care of your pet. I’m a huge animal lover and truly love nothing more than snuggling up with a cat or dog on the couch. I love sending photos and updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I’m a teacher so I’m extremely flexible during the summer. During the school year I do work 7am-3pm so your pet would have to be okay being alone for at least 8 hours. My weekends are low key so I’m able to provide much more undivided attention to your pet. I stay in homes for pet sitting as well as board dogs (dogs only) in my home. If your dog stays with me, I have a large fenced in back yard and very sweet 6 year old golden retriever to keep your pup company. I have two roommates that love pets as well. Your pup is also welcome to sleep with me as that’s what mine typically does. I live near a park and typically take my dog for a 30 minute to 1 hour walk in the evenings and would gladly take your dog for as much or as little of that as you prefer. If I stay in your home, my dog will he cared for by my roommates and I will provide your animals preferred routine.

Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. About: Hi, I’m Nicole! I’m a recent graduate of Vanderbilt University and a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I grew up with cats and have always had at least one in the house, so caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. When I was 12, I rescued my first dog — a senior teacup Chihuahua named Bella — and cared for her for nearly 8 wonderful years. That experience taught me just how important it is to find someone trustworthy and compassionate to care for your pets when you’re away. Throughout high school, I volunteered at my local animal shelter, where I worked with cats and dogs of all ages and temperaments, as well as assisting in the clinic. I also have about 7 years of professional pet and house-sitting experience, primarily caring for cats and medium to large dogs in their own homes. I love taking dogs on walks, making sure they get exercise, fresh air, and plenty of attention while keeping them comfortable in their normal routine. I grew up with dogs, and have years of experience pet-sitting for dogs, cats, rabbits, and even ferrets! :) I love all animals & open to new ones too (minus snakes). During the school year, I work FT at an elementary school, but I love to petsit during my summers off—but I am still available during the school year, after school hours and weekends. During the summer, I’m off of work (I work at an elementary school) so I’m flexible when it comes to dropping in or spending time with your pet! I'm available FT during July through the beginning of August, until school begins. After that, my availability changes to after school hours and weekends. Whether it’s a drop in for food, walks, or cuddles, or if your need is me staying overnight—I’m open! I am available to do drop ins or overnight stays with your pet, depending on your need. I’ve done both and can do multiple check-in for feedings, walks, etc. during the day. And/or staying overnight with them if you’re out of town!

About: Hi! While I’m new to Rover, I’m not new to pet sitting. I'm a lifelong animal lover who's been caring for pets since I was 10 years old. From fostering a senior chihuahua to caring for 150 pound mastiffs, I have a wide variety of experience. As a dog owner myself, I know the importance of having someone you trust to take care of your pet. I’m a huge animal lover and truly love nothing more than snuggling up with a cat or dog on the couch. I love sending photos and updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I’m a teacher so I’m extremely flexible during the summer. During the school year I do work 7am-3pm so your pet would have to be okay being alone for at least 8 hours. My weekends are low key so I’m able to provide much more undivided attention to your pet. I stay in homes for pet sitting as well as board dogs (dogs only) in my home. If your dog stays with me, I have a large fenced in back yard and very sweet 6 year old golden retriever to keep your pup company. I have two roommates that love pets as well. Your pup is also welcome to sleep with me as that’s what mine typically does. I live near a park and typically take my dog for a 30 minute to 1 hour walk in the evenings and would gladly take your dog for as much or as little of that as you prefer. If I stay in your home, my dog will he cared for by my roommates and I will provide your animals preferred routine.

I come home on my lunch break, and the neighborhood is great for relaxed, scenic walks. I make sure pets are comfortable, cared for, and have everything they need. The neighborhood is very dog-friendly, with nearby parks and plenty of space for fresh air, sniffing, and happy little breaks. We’ll enjoy our time outside.
