About: I've taken care of pets my entire life! Often neighbors, friends, and family have left their cats or dogs in my care whether due to work, travel, or emergencies. Being a caregiver just comes naturally to me, and I am inately intuned with the needs of the critters that come into my life. My sister and I used to work together to rescue and foster animals before she left for the military. We learned a lot, and helped hundreds of animals find furrever homes, prevented unnecessary euthanasia, and advocated fiercly for the pets in our care. I currently work from home with flexible hours so I can be there for you and your pets needs! I am incredibly flexible, have reliable transportation, and am prepared to brings pets into my home, or to come to yours to play! I like to work with pet parents to design stays around the needs and routines of the pets in my care whether that's exercise, medication administration, feeding schedules, vet visits, etc. I believe routines keep animals calm and feeling comfortable during stays at my home or in yours. I often reccomend calming care suggestions for pets who have paw-parents on vacations, but also offer some in my home as well as options for positive engagement activies to prevent boredom and support the redirection of destructive behaviors that can be triggered by anxious pets. When caring for pups, I often go to the dog park down the street, but I also have a nice unfenced yard behind my home and am in a cul-de-sac perfect for long walks. I am an avid runner, and enjoy taking pets on the trail close to my home for a run! I keep all dogs on leash in unfenced areas. I have separate rooms in my home, in the case of multiple pets and if they don't get along, but also for feeding multiple pets (if there are multiple in the home). I never leave pets from different homes unsupervised in the same space, and will do slow, supervised introductions to ensure any pets in my care are compatible. I do not have crates in my home, but if your pet has one, I often reccomend bringing it for longer stays as pets will often use it as a safe space in an unfamiliar area. Pets will have access to their crates, but will remain uncrated unless otherwise instructed by the pet parent (i.e. on short trips where I am out of the home, overnight, during feeding, etc.). I don't currently accept aggressive pets in my home, but may be open to visiting them in your home where they may be more comfortable!

About: Ever since I was little I’ve always had special bonds with dogs, more than I have with some humans. I’ve always wanted to help care for them as young as 5 years old. In more recent years, I have dog sat over night, over long weeks and just for walks and play time. I’m especially interested in boarding dogs in my home and making sure they feel comfortable and included while their family is away. I want every dog staying with me to feel safe and at home. I’ll follow your dog’s normal feeding, potty, medication, and sleeping routine as closely as possible. I’m home frequently, so they won’t be left alone for long periods of time. About: I’ve cared for dogs on my own and for friends and family 🐶 I’m comfortable feeding, walking, playing with them, and making sure they’re well taken care of 🦴🐾 I love dogs and genuinely enjoy having them around and spending time with them ❤️ I am a breakfast server and work mornings 3-5 days a week and am home around lunch on those days. I then use the rest of the day to spend time with the dogs, take them to the park, and spend quality time together at the house :) I care for your dog like they’re my own 🐶 I’ll follow whatever instructions you leave, make sure they’re fed, get outside, and get plenty of attention while you’re away.
About: I've grown up with dogs throughout my entire life. From chihuahuas, to golden retrievers, to rescues I have had experience with a myriad of different dog breeds and personalities! On top of caring for, walking, and playing with the dogs my family owned, one of my earliest jobs was dog-sitting neighborhood dogs when their families were out of town. You can count on me to provide the same high quality care to your dogs that I would provide to my own. I am a current medical student in Nashville. As a result, most of my availability will fall on the weekends! My availability on Fridays would start around 6:30 pm and I can go to any time on Sunday. I will always respect your house rules and items when caring for your pets at your home. I will also respect and reinforce the way in which you have trained your pets (crate training, meal times, etc). I will always care for your pet to a high level of detail, making sure they have sufficient walks, making sure to clean up any mess they make, and making sure all of their needs are met!

As a PA student, my schedule is structured, but I built in intentional breaks for exercise, fresh air, and animal time to stay balanced! I’m available for early morning walks before class, mid day check ins, evening visits, and overnight stays. Studying from home on evenings and weekends also means I’m around to keep your pet company, stick strictly to their routine, and give them plenty of attention while I review my notes. I live in a cozy, pet-safe apartment that's perfect for small dogs. We are located right across the street from one of the best dog parks in the area, so your pup will get plenty of outdoor time, fresh air, and exercise! I maintain a calm, secure environment and limit the space so they feel completely comfortable.

“Just wonderful! I have a rescue dog who has yet to be neutered due to health problems when an impromptu vacation came up. Due to being a non-neuter I was worried I’d have to cancel (very limiting options). Jonathan was so kind and understanding, and had no problem watching Reggie and Mango. They stayed for one week, came home in the same health, and very tired. Jonathan has a very nice, natural fenced in yard and he’s also super knowledgeable about dog training. I couldn’t recommended him more :)”
