About: Hello! My name is Sydney. I gained a variety of pet care experience while living on a farm in Kansas, working at a veterinary hospital for four years and dog sitting for years prior. I have a sweet, docile older pup of my own who lays around and gets along with everyone. Especially my two cats! She just loves making friends. However, depending on client’s preferences I also have the space in my home to comfortably separate their pets from any combination of mine depending on your/your pet’s comfort level. My home allows for walking opportunities at the Monte Sano Land Trust as well as Chapman Mountain Nature Preserve, and a fenced in dog yard to play in. My goal is to provide the most knowledgeable and experienced service possible for dog owners like myself who want to take great care of their pets! I work from home all of the time and have a very flexible schedule. I already keep track of my own pets and have the space to do so with much more. Safety is of the utmost concern to me for your pets. I will most likely never mix two families’ pets together in my home in a boarding situation as I wouldn’t be able to properly vet the two animals together prior to them being in my home. My dog is a scavenger and she’s done a really great job of forcing me to dog-proof this place so there’s absolutely nothing to possibly get into. They don’t get a kennel, they get a whole spare bedroom and the living room! And just take turns in the yard. About: My day to day care is 4 pit bulls an 2 picanese dogs all in the same household.I love to love the animals a think of them as family. Having so many years dealing with dogs, I can’t help but to work with them. I wake up super early to let all my lil babies outside for the first time, while they wake up I will get the food an water bowls set up an let all of them back in. Sit around for maybe 30-45 minutes in case there stomachs might get rough, then they fall asleep for a good 2 hours wake up with mad energy,let them play for 15 mins go outside an toss their ball around. After all is done I’ll bring them back to calming stage an we will watch movies for the rest of the night until it’s bedtime. My pets are free roamers (inside the yard). They will let me know when to get the door for them,babygirl normally beats the door down as of babyboy he will politely knock on the door or whine. I will give them treats for being good, an occasionally give them a peanut brownie just for alittle sweetness an they absolutely love an go crazy for it. The dogs seem to love anything with animals show that are different colors.

I usually just ask clients to bring a favorite toy and or dog bed if they want to. It helps with separation anxiety. If not I have lots of extra dog beds and dog blankets. People usually board their dogs because they can’t take them with them for work trips or vacations, so I like them to feel like they are on vacation too! I am currently a stay at home mama so I have a lot of availability including overnight pet sitting in my home. I can do anytime during the week and on weekends as well! I book a lot of clients over holidays too! My daughter also loves to help me care for the dogs. I have been teaching her about dog care and respect for animals since she was very young. She loves every second of it. She even helps me take them outside to play and helps me prep for feeding time too. She knows to respect animals and give them space when they need it. But to be honest what mostly ends up happening is she watches tv with them and they snuggle so much and have snacks :) I have a fenced in back yard in a very safe and dog friendly community. My dogs also love other dogs very much! We have lots of fun dogs toys and love to stay active. I can vary the activities we do based on your pets needs and wants!
