About: I have been a dog walker and pet-sitter for my neighbors since I was 12. I have watched dogs of all sizes, cats, and lizards. I have a dog of my own that lives with my parents, as well as a tortoise. I have experience with all different sizes and types of animals. I work part-time, and I live alone, so I will have plenty of time to care for any animals. I adore dogs and reptiles, and spending time with them brings me so much joy. I have a small yard to take dogs out to - they will need to be leashed. I also live in a walkable neighborhood so they will get ample walk time. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. I do workin disaster management so a disaster in TN could impact that but wouldn't impede me from being able to come by a few times a day or stay the night. I worked with dogs of all breeds and dispositions, cleaning their kennels, distributing food, and helping them socialize. I now volunteer at the Nashville Humane Association as a dog walker; I am a Yellow Level volunteer, meaning that I have completed a Fear Free Shelters certification and am qualified to work with shy/fearful dogs, dogs with moderate behavioral issues, and our "Gentle Giants" who might need a bit more strength to handle!
