I have been a veterinary nurse for 7 years and have been pet sitting for 10 years. I am able to properly medicate or administer injections (insulin for example) to pets if they are prescribed any medications. I like to meet with owners prior to their trip that way if there are any special needs or medications for the pet that I am aware of them. My daughter is currently 13 months old, so if your pet will be in my home, all I ask is that they are potty trained and can be good/gentle with kids, for my daughter’s safety. Our dog is an indoor/outdoor dog. He spends most of his time inside, but he likes to play outside in our fenced in yard during the day as long as the weather is good. We have a screened-in porch with a fan for him to rest in while he is outside, too. He is free to go in and out of it as he pleases. Our dog is free-fed, but we are also used to following feeding schedules from caring for our elderly dog who recently passed, as well as my family’s dogs. About: I have cared for 6 of my own dogs over the last 24 years, and currently have 4. All pups have full access to our home and are allowed on furniture. I will take care of your pups like they are my own. I am retired therefore have availability most days and timesframes to come to your home to care for your pup/s. About: I have been around dogs all my life. All of the dogs and cats that my family and I had/have were found as strays and made part of the family. I would always help my parents take care of my neighbor’s dogs when they are away on vacation. This past fall, I dog sat and dog walked for a family before, during, and after they went on a cruise. I am good with young and old dogs, all sizes!! I grew up loving animals and have been fortunate enough to have cared for many different animals. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, fish, guinea pig, squirrels, and a few birds. In the fall of 2025, I fostered a bunny for 2 weeks and took it to adoption events. Think of it like having an out-of-country farm if you will. I love being around animals, so obviously zoos and aquariums are my favorite places to visit apart from my parents’ house. Classes start up late August, so all dates up until then are open until booked. Once college classes start up again, my schedule will mostly stay the same, open. During the semester, I will have a tutoring job, but it shouldn’t have any effect on scheduling or anything like that. If there is a conflict, tutoring sessions can be moved. I always meet clients before I start any service to make sure that I am compatible with the cat or dog. After that, I make sure to follow what the client needs and wants for their pets. I give lots of attention when I’m not at work and make sure that they get all that they need.
