We’ve been looking for someone in our area for a while that would take special care to make our anxious dog feel comfortable. He cannot stay at a boarding facility since he gets so overwhelmed with the barking, small spaces, and lack of time they are able to spend with him in this setting. If you need help with puppy training, or a kitten house check while you’re at work, I will make sure their needs are met and provide companionship. Aside from animals, I love gardening and decorating my home, so I have many projects on my hands to keep me busy through the day. I have a wonderful husband and a 7-year-old who fills my weekends with joy! If you need housesitting, (watering plants, etc.), while you’re away, I will help and will not charge any fees. You can consider me your “house sitter” the next time you go away! As a stay-at-home mom, my son is in 1st grade the majority of the day. I am available pretty much all day and into the evening hours. My days are routine and structured, so I would take the same approach with your pets. Unfortunately, I cannot sit overnight. About: I've always liked to rescue animals and care for them from a young age. So lots of my family and friends would bring animals to me or trust me to petsit for them. I've not only cared for dogs and cats, but also turtles, toads, and a few birds. I'm currently solely attending classes so I have plenty of availability for your pets to always feel well cared for during their stay with me! I’ve cared for several blind/deaf dogs and they’re always great! 5) Paralyzed: I have experience with a pitbull who was paralyzed from the waste down due to an incident. I kept up with physical therapy, indoor accidents, cleaning/caring, hand feeding. 5) Something Else? Let me know *HOW WILL MY DOGS BE CARED FOR?* When caring for your pup during visits and stays, their personality is my top priority. I will adjust my activity level according to their specific needs to ensure their safety and comfort. In the case of inclement weather or unfortunate situations that may cause your pup to get dirty, rest assured that I will have a towel or wipes readily available to clean them up. I'm pretty strict when it comes to Suki's diet and exercise routine. She gets fed twice a day with a slow feeder to avoid any mishaps, and I make sure to keep her brain active with mentally stimulating games when we're not out and about. Speaking of which, we hit the dog park 3-5 times a week and go on hikes and runs at the lake. Suki's a ball of energy and loves playing fetch, so be prepared to throw that ball a few times! Now, let me be honest with you. It's highly unlikely, but on occasion, Suki might come along for a walk or a drop-in visit and hang out in my car. Don't worry, she's super chill and won't leave any fur behind. About: I’m a really friendly person and my husband and I treat dogs like family. I’ve had dogs my whole life growing up. I’m a stay at home mom of 2 kids so I’m available 7 days a week; the only time I leave the house is to go food shopping so the dogs are rarely left alone. I do request that the dogs are friendly towards kids! I have a huge fenced in yard for dogs to run around and play! We also have 3 goats with their own house and fenced in area. Whether you allow your dogs on your furniture is a preference I’d love to learn, we allow them on our furniture as long as it’s something that they already do at home. I know most dogs are on a potty schedule so in order to maintain that I’d want to know how frequently they’re let out. Above all else they’d be spoiled with love and treated like family! Pups that only receive dog walking would be shown the same kind of love as all the other pups despite the small amount of time! I have two children ages 6 & 3 that I have at home with me and I homeschool them. This is my only source of income, so I’m always available to tend to animals that are entrusted to me! Your furry friends would fed according to their normal feeding schedule. We allow our dogs on the couch and our bed, so if that’s something you allow as well (or don’t allow) let me know so we don’t deviate from what you want for them! About: I’ve been responsible for caring for my families pets since I was 5 years old. My dad taught me how to teach basic commands for our dogs and I’ve educated myself in the health and wellness of my pets since getting my dog, Ruby back in 2018. About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. My family and friends had pets but it wasn’t enough! I convinced my parents really young to get a dog and since then, I’ve taken care of and trained 3 dogs of my own. Friends and family that get pets often ask me for advice.
