“Always lovely to have our Charlotte to stay with Lea & Luna + Copper!!! She always get the best care and best friends!!!! So much love & so much fun, we will definitely come back!!!”

“Toad had a great time ! She got to run around in a lovely huge backyard and had constant attention, plus another Pug to play with. She even got to explore the neighborhood with walks. I can tell she misses her new Pug friend too. Abby even mixed some of her own food with Toads to get to her to eat there since she was a little nervous the first day. I was kept updated with pictures and communication the whole time. I can tell Toad had a wonderful time and would use Abigail again to watch Toad for a day or boarding without hesitation!”

“We are so thankful to have found Sharon! Our puppy was well taken care of with her family and we certainly recommend her and hope he can stay with her again! Thank you from all of us and especially Max!”

“Connie was amazing with sassy she kept us informed of how sassy was settling in and she sent pictures daily. She took her own walks, gave medication if needed and sassy felt immediately safe with her. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. Had everything packed up when it was time for us to pick her up.”

“Justin and Ashlyn were absolutely amazing!! They cared for our two pups like they were always a part of the family! They sent fantastic updates, the pictures were wonderful, the outdoors time couldn’t be better, and it was such a relief knowing our dogs were in great hands with their family. Would highly recommend and we’ve already looked at requesting their services again for availability. If you’re looking for a sitter to take care of your dogs and provide amazing care for your life’s busy demands, Justin and Ashlyn are the best choice!”

“Andrew and Frank were so responsive and took such good care of Honey. I could tell she was very comfortable with them and their sweet dogs from the pictures they sent.”

“Fantastic first experience with Rover. Hands down 100% recommend Yvette and John for overnight dog stays. They clearly love taking care of dogs and treat each one like their own. Their large fenced in, shaded yard is perfect for dogs running around. They sent updates and photos keeping us up to date on her acclimation to a new setting. They have 2 dogs of their own that get along beautifully with others. A great social setting - fantastic experience. Thank you for a fabulous stay!”

“Kathy, her husband Gabe and pup Jasper were so great! Our pup Lou can be shy and they made him feel comfortable and loved. Kathy was super communicative and was wonderful to work with.”

“Could not have found a warmer, more welcoming and attentive home than what John provided for our little dog, Ozzie, for 3 nights in May. It was our 1st time leaving him somewhere-it was hard, but they sent us regular updates with photos and messages showing Ozzie making himself quite at home! It was such a blessing to know that he was in the best of care. Will absolutely use again-can’t recommend enough!!!”

“Amanda and her family were very welcoming and took great care of my dog Nora. She had a good time there and made some bew friends. Amada provided rme egular updates which kept me at ease while I was away.”

“Kaylie and Jonathon were awesome caretakers for our anxious pup. They were extremely communicative throughout his stay and sent us daily photos. We will absolutely be using their services again in the future!”

“Great couple with perfect fenced back yard and neighborhood with loads of kids who love dogs! Kimberly and Dylan were wonderful sitters for Ebony. She had so much fun!!”

“Genny is absolutely the best dog sitter. She treats our dog like he is royalty and she sincerely loves him. We never worry when Ms. Jenny has Berry. She treats him as if he were her own. And, enjoy getting pictures throughout the day! 10 of 10!”

“Alyssa was phenomenal! My dog can be a bit energetic (understatement…) upon meeting new people, but Alyssa stayed super calm while my dog ran in circles around her house until she finally wore herself out. Alyssa was kind and gracious and sent lots of pictures and loved on my crazy pup like she was her own! I truly cannot recommend her enough!”

“Zach was wonderful with our two dogs! He was responsive, sent pictures and updates, and really attentive with them. He even took them up to their favorite dog park. We'll definitely have Zach watch our pups again!”

“I have used Rover a lot over the years and I am not exaggerating when I say that Taylor is the best Rover we have ever used! She took incredible care of our two dogs while we were out of town. She sent so many thoughtful updates with pictures and took them on long walks. I could tell they were happy and relaxed by how much they loved snuggling with her on the couch! Taylor is a true dog lover and so kind, I can’t recommend her more!”

“Fran was so awesome. She babysat my little gremlin Grub while I went overseas. I don’t live in Charleston; it was just the city I happened to be flying out of and I was so worried about who could look after my dog in a place where I didn’t have any friends or family. I found Fran on rover and couldn’t be happier! Her home is so sweet and comfy, with beautiful, well-maintained grounds for safe dog walks all around it. Fran was a joy to talk to and work with; she did an excellent job of keeping up communication throughout my travels, despite some technical issues on my end. I could tell my pup was treated like Fran’s own baby during her stay and I am so grateful 🥰”

“Kristin watched my dog at the beginning and end of May, and I know Callie enjoyed her stay both times! Kristin took Callie on plenty of walks (which she loves) and sent daily updates with pictures. Kristin is the best and I will always ask her to watch my dog if she's available!”

“I knew when I met Kyle at our meet and greet he could be trusted. I left him with the keys to my home. I have 3 hens which doesn't seem like a biggy deal but it definitely requires responsibility to keep them safe and secured. I never had a worry while away. Will absolutely use him again”

About: I’ve had various pets my entire life- dogs, cats, reptiles (a bearded dragon named Elvis), fish, rabbits, a ferret that I inherited when my sibling passed away, and even a bird that I rescued. Pets have been, and will forever be, a part of my life. I’ve now gotten my husband into the pet world, and he can’t imagine life without at least one dog now. Ha! We lost our senior pup of 16.5 years about a year ago, and have since rescued a Foxhound who was sick and malnourished when we fostered her. She and our other foster fail, Finn, have fun together! I also provide houseplant care for people. I’m a member of the Charleston area houseplant community, and have a house jungle of my own. My schedule is unique. I own a small handmade business, so I have a lot of time to be home (or at your home!). My unique situation allows for extra love and feelings of security while let parents are traveling. My work is easy to pack and bring with me, whether I’m sewing, knitting, crocheting, or embroidering/cross stitching. We have a fenced yard where our two dogs play and do essential “business”. I’m a helicopter pet parent, whether it’s my own pets or pets that I’m caring for.

About: I’m a lifelong pet owner who grew up caring for a Shih Tzu–Poodle mix (Ava!) and now care for two dogs: a young Shetland Sheepdog (Maple!) and a senior Border Collie rescue (Skye!). I’m experienced with high-energy breeds, seniors, daily routines, medication reminders, walks, playtime, and lots of love. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every pet like family. Also a proud golden doodle aunt - 70 lb, Ms. Ella!! This is my full-time role! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I already care for my own dogs. I’m used to structured schedules for feeding, walks, playtime, and downtime, and I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s specific needs and routine. I prioritize safety, consistency, and clear communication. We have a fenced in yard, lots of room to run, and have crate trained before! I follow all care instructions closely, keep pets secure on walks, and maintain clean, calm environments. Whether in my home or yours, I respect your space and ensure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved at all times.
“Kathryn was really sweet and welcoming to our two pups! Our chocolate lab played with her golden all day and was worn out which we were thankful for! Will definitely be using her again.”

“This was the first time I used Kim & Dylan for doggy daycare for Reba & Willow. We did have a meet & greet prior to our first day of doggy daycare & They were amazing with my dogs. Kim & Dylan were very accommodating & attentive to Reba & Willow. Reba can be a bit nervous and Willow can be a bit over excited and they made both dogs feel comfortable. Both dogs were very happy & tired when I picked them up. I highly recommend Kim & Dylan and I would not hesitate to use them for doggy daycare (again) or boarding.”

About: Hiii! Whether it’s your pups dream staycation, drop-in visits with extra loves, or puppy training needs- you’ve found your girl! I am an avid animal lover and have won over every doggie heart and have a special touch with even the craziest of kitties. I was fostering puppies from the Colleton County shelter before I joined Rover, and I can assure you after rehabbing, training and finding those puppies their forever homes; your animals will be a walk in the park! Personally, I have two dogs 9 & 5 and one kitty. My older pup had a back injury when she was 2, so I’ve dealt with all types of special care for pups who need a bit of assistance as well as administering medications, etc. My animals are my children and I would take care of someone else’s babies as my own! 🐾 I work from home and the pups always have access to go outside to the fenced in backyard! I focus on long walks or adventures in the evenings that get my pups worn out leading into the following day while I’m at working. The huge fenced in backyard is a huge bonus for activity throughout the day!! Bare minimum one walk a day, feeding morning and night, my dogs roam the house while I’m gone but they are trained and older- I can follow instructions easily with preferred schedules(:
“Alyssa watched my Goldendoodle, Roscoe yesterday. She was super communicative, sending me pictures and videos throughout the day. I could tell he was being very well cared for. He is scared of new people and other dogs, and she followed all of my directions on helping him through his big feelings. Thank you so much, Alyssa! I will definitely be using you again!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs all my life and have extensive experience with older pups who need medication or extra patience. My home is child-free, and fenced in, and I work from home, so your dog will never be left alone for long. Whether your pup loves walks or just wants a peaceful place to rest, they’ll be treated like family here. We recently rescued a cute scruffy mixed terrier named Arthur. He LOVES all dogs so if you’re looking for companionship for your pup, he’s your guy! (Pups in the profile photo are our babies we lost in 2024 and 2025. Sitting thru Rover over the holidays helped us heal enough to adopt again in Feb❤️) Because I work from home, I’m able to give dogs plenty of attention and breaks throughout the day. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible—mealtimes, walks, meds, and all. You can count on regular updates and photos so you know your pup is happy, relaxed, and well cared for. Your dog’s comfort and safety are always my top priorities. My fenced-in yard gives them space to sniff and stretch safely, and all walks are on-leash in our quiet neighborhood.
“Tate had the best day hanging out with Anna and her dogs! Anna was very attentive and sent me updates throughout the day, which I always love. Tate will definitely be back!”

“Christina took great care of our two boys. We received multiple pictures of their stay. She even used our ThunderShirt during a thunderstorm with Cash. We would love to use her more often if we were local. She will be our go-to sitter when we are in town.”

About: I tailor to your dogs specific needs - pace, favorite routes and preferences. I also add behavioral enrichment activities during the walk like playtime and basic training. I am a local Realtor and have a very flexible schedule. I am an early riser so mornings are a great time for me to get out and be active. I have a fenced yard and a very pet friendly home. I have a dog and 2 adult cats that are all 8 years old. Vivie, Moxie and Mango love and/or tolerate other animals.
About: I've always loved animals ever since I was a child and have had pets ever since. I always felt animals make our lives better and my 3 pets have done nothing but enrich my life. I rescued my cat Drogo when he was a kitten 9 years ago, Link my second cat a year and a half ago, and Kai, my puppy, 6 months ago. All of my animals get along and my puppy is always looking for a play mate! I've done dog and cat sitting for both family and friends for about 10 or so years now when I lived in PA and would love to continue that now that I'm finally settled in Mt. Pleasant! I am in the tech industry which has allowed me to work from home during the week/daytime. I do not work on weekends which will allow me to focus more of my time on your fur babies! I have a decent size 1 bedroom apt but prefer smaller animals as a half a 4 lb puppy and 2 cats. If you would like me to board out of your home I would need to bring my puppy Kai. I take Kai potty every hr and a half 2 hrs and walk him twice a day so your dog would be on my dog's schedule unless told otherwise. My cats are very nice to other animals and so is Kai, again he would love a playmate!
“Cynthia was great! Very understanding that Star my dog was quite anxious and was very accommodating to any needs that she might have needed. Star was so tired after her day with Cynthia and Winston will definitely be rebooking!”

About: I’ve always loved animals and enjoy spending time caring for pets of all kinds. I grew up in Ohio where I was active in 4H so I was taking care of animals daily. I’m dependable, patient, and will treat your pet like they’re part of my own family. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, feeding, medication reminders, or just extra attention while you’re away, I’m happy to help. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, so I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry friend is in good hands. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I work nightshift as a nurse 2 days a week. I have a lot of free time and enjoy being active. My dog gets walked multiple times a day. I have one golden retriever who loves other dogs! We are in a nice quiet area in an apartment. I love to go on walks to head over to the dog park!

“Tonya was great with our dog! Great communication. She let us know when she arrived and took photos so that we could see how happy our girl was. We would definitely book again with her!”

“Amber was absolutely wonderful with my dog! He always wants to go on walks but can’t always make it the whole way around the block. Amber noticed when he needed a break and lovingly picked him up and carried him until he was ready to walk again. She was so gentle and attentive. She truly went above and beyond. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and thoughtful walker!”
“The PERFECT dog sitter!!! I would highly recommend Abigail. She walked my dog twice a day for 6 weeks while I recovered from surgery. I could not have made it without her. She is 100% trust worthy and dependable. I would have no problem with her staying at my house for overnights. Her medical knowledge is a big plus for aging dogs. I give her 10 stars!! You will be very pleased if you use her. She was very loving to my dog and took extra time for walks. We will miss her!!”

If I'm caring for pets in a client's home, I make it a point to familiarize myself with their routines, including feeding schedules, exercise requirements, and any other specific instructions provided by the owner. I aim to maintain consistency and minimize any disruptions to their daily routines as much as possible. I prioritize regular exercise and playtime to keep pets physically active and mentally stimulated. Whether it's going for walks, engaging in interactive play sessions, or providing enrichment activities, I ensure that pets receive the exercise and mental stimulation they need to stay happy and healthy. Additionally, I am diligent in following any dietary restrictions or special dietary needs that the pets may have. I provide timely and appropriate meals, ensuring that they receive the proper nutrition and dietary balance. Maintaining open and clear communication with pet owners is crucial. I provide regular updates on their pets' well-being, including photos and videos if desired, to keep them informed and reassured that their furry friends are in good hands. Above all, I understand that each pet is unique, and I adapt my care approach to meet their individual needs. I shower them with love, attention, and affection, creating a bond of trust and ensuring they feel safe and cared for, whether they are in my home or their own.

“Kristin watched my dog at the beginning and end of May, and I know Callie enjoyed her stay both times! Kristin took Callie on plenty of walks (which she loves) and sent daily updates with pictures. Kristin is the best and I will always ask her to watch my dog if she's available!”

“Cameron was great! He was super easy to coordinate drop off and pick up. He took great care of our special “Alpha Male” golden retriever. He made him feel welcome and at ease right upon arrival and ensured that he was careful not to have close encounters with other dogs. We loved seeing the pictures Cameron sent of our happy pup. We would definitely reach out to Cameron next time we are visiting the area. Thanks again Cameron!”

“Our two older boys came with us to Charleston for a family vacation. Our accommodations were not pet friendly but I wanted them to be nearby as they can be anxious when alone for extended periods. Anna and her husband were great and kept us updated on our boys all week. I could tell they felt right at home. She made sure they had what they needed and her home was great for my boys and similar to what they were used to at home. She sent me frequent updates and photos throughout the week. We appreciate her loving them like her own and will definitely use her services again if in the area with the pups! I recommend her for any family who wants their pups to be safe and happy while they are vacationing- I had peace of mind the whole time we were away!”

“Carrie is the BEST! She is the only person I have found that I feel comfortable leaving my babies with. She is so flexible and communicative and sends me pics and updates the whole time we’re gone. My boys love going to her house and playing with her sweet dog Moo Moo. My dogs come back exhausted and happy every time. I cannot recommend Carrie enough!”

“I could tell from Vilmas photos my pups were comfortable and felt safe with her. My babies are needy so I'm thankful for someone as caring as Vilma. Will gladly use her services again if she will have us. Thank you!!”

“Sarah spoiled our two fur babies! They had a blast! We got daily updates with pictures. We couldn’t recommend Sarah more! Will definitely be booking her again our next out of town trip!”
