While I may be new to the neighborhood, I’m certainly not new to pet care! I spent five years working as the Executive Assistant at a local animal shelter, where I worked alongside dogs and cats every day. Not only did I do the usual doggie care dance (you know, the poop scooping and whatnot 😄), but I also had the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with some wonderful trainers who taught me valuable basic training skills. Over the years, I cared for dogs of all shapes, sizes, personalities, and backgrounds—from severely abused animals learning to trust again to beloved family pets. After leaving the shelter more than six years ago, I continued doing what I love through pet sitting. At our previous home, we built an amazing group of regular clients, including daily doggie daycare pups and frequent boarding guests who became part of the family. I work from home, which allows me to provide plenty of supervision, companionship, and cuddles throughout the day. Although we don’t currently have a dog of our own, we lost our sweet Nova last summer and miss having four paws around the house. Our home is full of love, and caring for other people’s pets is one of the ways we get to share it. While we don’t have a fenced yard, we have no shortage of opportunities for exercise and fun! About: Hi My Name is Crystal. I grew up here in Simpsonville. I've grown up around animals of all kinds. I started caring for them at an early age. We had what most people would call a small farm. We had Dogs, cats, poultry, swine, Gerbils, Hamsters, Rabbit. Peacocks, pheasants, quail, the list can go on. I have cared for animals of all ages. I also can take care of plants while you are away. I take my pups out as they ask to go out. If it is hot outside I limited their outside time, but add frequent trips for shorter times outside, to keep them from getting over heated. Playing with toys and giving them time to play is also one of my favorite things. I do enjoy snuggle time with them as well. I am not able to watch pups in my own home because of number of animals and family members. I will be glad to do morning and afternoon checks (Feeding, bathroom, playtime, attention). Or my other option is I will be glad to stay as a guest in your home to watch your animals and house. I will treat your home, and animals with the upmost respect. About: I have been caring for critters professionally since 2016! I have experience taking care of dogs and cats of all breeds and ages. I am also a licensed veterinary technician and a cat/dog mom to three fury little boys. I work three days a week at a veterinary emergency hospital, and the remainder of the week is spent taking care of my fur babies as well as yours! I am happy to take care of all your fur baby’s needs at your residence, and will do whatever I need to do to make your kiddos feel safe!
About: In this house, pets are treated like family members. They get all the love, attention, and snuggles (of course) that they deserve. Experience includes puppy and senior care. Over the summer months, I’m not working allowing for open flexibility to tend to pet needs. About: Our experience derives from many years of being pet parents, from puppies/kittens to seniors, our pets were always apart of our family and we spoiled each of them their entire lifespan. We have also volunteered at various rescues. We have a Goldendoodle and are currently welcoming one friendly pet at a time in our home.
