About: 20+ years experience! I owned a pet sitting service years ago in Florida. It was my way as a single mother to supplement my teaching income. At one time I employed 11 veterinarian technicians as our popularity quickly grew. I retired from teaching recently and I’m now returning to my true love; caring for pets. I personally own two dogs. I adopted a standard poodle from a breeder two years ago. Sobe loves to snuggle and hike. He adores playing with other dogs. Ellie is a 13 year old Toy Poodle. She and Sobe are best buddies. I am available 7 days a week and can be flexible with times and frequency of visits. As, I have pets at home I CANNOT sleep overnight in client’s homes, but can make extra trips throughout the day and night to meet pet’s needs. Special requests will be considered. I am also available to care for a variety of pets. Safety comes first. (I am fully COVID vaccinated). I also rely heavily on detailed instructions from pet owners. About: Me and my husband David have both grown up with dogs our whole lives. I always had labradors in my family while he had golden retrievers. David’s dog Maggie lived to be 15 so he has great experience with senior care. I volunteered at a shelter and dog sat for our neighbors throughout high school. I also helped trained our two dogs as puppies, and we have cared for dogs as big as 110lbs to as little as 5lb. I am working part time with a baby due this August so my hours are decreasing as well. About: I have been housesitting/dog sitting for about 5 years now, and I LOVE it! I love to show the dogs I’m watching special attention and spoil them ever so slightly. About: I have found that dogs prefer to be in their own envirement when their owner's are away, so most of my jobs are from repeat clients and referrals for in home stays. Your pet stays in their own environment which is less stressful. As requested by you, we go on walks, mini hikes, car rides, sleep in bed with them, just lounge and watch TV, administer special diets or medicines, drop off at another relative, etc. I am flexible. Your house stays safe with someone home, mail and newspapers picked up, etc. One client always has contractors over for their large remodel. I first became a dog sitter for my 2 grandpups, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels a boy and a girl. My daughter may be the most demaning, pickiest, list of rules person in the world. Her dogs are her children and I know yours are too. So please if you feel bad about leaving them, if you have a weird request I will understand. Since I am semi-retired I have more flexibility as well. I have had dogs who needed me to sit on the floor with them while they eat, want to sleep in same bed as me, constantly want to sit on my lap or next to me. I understand the power of treats, their special toys and love! It's stressful when the owners are away, but I am here to fill that void. Rest assured, I can send you updates as needed. About: I have a lot of experience with taking care of all sorts of pets and look forward to making your pet feel right at home. I’ve been doing rover for 3 years now and had pets my whole life ranging from dogs/ cats to snakes etc. I work from home , I have plenty of time to walk and play with the pups all the time. I love animals and have a black lab of my own who is super sweet and friendly with all pups. I live in a gated apartment with plenty of places to walk and play including a fenced in dog park. I can stay in at client's home but prefer to stay at my own home.

The fence is very tall and not see-through. We have rocks around the bottom to prevent digging, and the doggy door gets locked at night.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 20 and I have had my dog for 14 years. I love animals and love be able to help people! I work full time from home and have a dog living with me. I am able to care for dogs all day and still work I have a fenced in yard with lots of grass to explore! I have comfy furniture outside too for the pups to relax on! If you dog is anything like mine, they will love basking in the sunshine on the patio!

“We have entrusted our Golden Retriever puppy Maya with Michelle several times over the past year and half, especially when we went on longer trips for up to three weeks. Michelle and Jay provide a warm and cozy home away from home and their two canine family members, Stella Mae and Livy, make the stay even more comforting. Michelle takes particular care to ensure all of Maya’s idiosyncrasies are taken care of. She provides meals according to detailed instructions, makes sure Maya stays clean during the stay and provides plenty of toys for Maya to play with. She communicates with us daily through messages, photos and videos. She also ensures that all the canine guests she boards at any given time are compatible with each other. We couldn’t ask for a more personalized experience for Maya and can travel without worrying about her well being. We are glad we found Michelle!”
