My own dog, Isla, is an active German Shepherd mix, so I’m very familiar with daily exercise, enrichment, training practice, and the patience that young or energetic dogs sometimes need. As a lifelong animal lover, I am comfortable caring for all types of pets, from dogs and cats to reptiles and rabbits, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s individual personality and keeping their routine as familiar as possible. I am comfortable with energetic dogs, larger breeds, and dogs with special needs. I pay close attention to each animals body language and personality will never force interactions. I’m also happy to send plenty of photos and updates while you’re away! I currently work part-time, which gives me flexibility for walks, drop-in visits, and boarding throughout the week. I plan my bookings carefully so each pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and rest while staying as close as possible to their usual routine. I provide a safe, non-smoking home with a fenced yard and one resident dog. For boarding, introductions with my dog or other residents are supervised, and pets can be separated for meals, rest, or personal space as needed. I carefully follow all feeding, medication, walking, and crate instructions. During walks and drop-ins, I double-check doors and gates, use secure leashes or harnesses, respect each pet’s boundaries, and send regular photos and updates.

I only have to leave the house for work on Tuesday and Thursday. My partner, Sofia, works from home full time, however, and is a pet lover like me, so your dog will never be without companionship, and we can accommodate any pet's needs for walks, bathroom breaks, feeding, and medication. I have a fenced in back yard to let your dog out in for quick bathroom breaks or just to get fresh air, and I live in a great neighborhood for walking. I'm happy to walk your dog as much as you'd like! I'm also close to Unity Park and the Swamp Rabbit trail if your dog needs some more serious play time! Lastly, I have two sweet kitties who are comfortable around dogs in the sense that they will likely ignore your dog, lol. But I don't board cats because they don't like strange kitties.

About: I have an 11 year old rescued and very mellow plott hound dog. I have been watching friends dogs for over 5 years and have no issues with any type of dog in my past experiences. I work from home so I am able to take your dog to the bathroom and walks to unity park throughout the day. Your dog will be in good hands and it will be an enjoyable day for them I work from home and will have a relative easy way to drop off your pet. Your pet will go on at least 2 walks per day and go outside to the bathroom at least 3-4 times a day and more if needed. I have one dog and we will be in an apartment by ourselves. Have plenty of room for 1-2 additional dogs. I can communicate at mostly anytime of the day if any issues arise. Your pet will have a safe space inside and I do have an enclosed balcony if they would like to sunbathe.

At home, we follow a balanced routine that includes a mix of long and short walks throughout the day to keep dogs active and happy. I also have access to a dog park in the apartment complex, which is great for safe playtime and socializing in a controlled environment. I live with my boyfriend, and while I’m the primary caregiver during the day, he also helps out with the dogs in the mornings, evenings, and on weekends. We both love spending time with animals, and your pup will receive plenty of attention, love, and care from the two of us throughout their stay. Inside, I love incorporating little training moments during the day to encourage good behavior—like practicing “sit,” “wait,” or calm greetings. It keeps their minds engaged and helps create a positive, structured environment. If your dog is crate-trained or feels more comfortable having their own space, I’m happy to accommodate that as well. About: I grew up on a small farm, so have been taking care of animals essentially since birth. I have had anything from dogs and cats, to horses and chickens. All dogs and cats have been inside animals, with a good many of them being rescued or fostered. I am currently a self employed stay at home ceramic artist. I have two loving and spoiled miniature schnauzers, who are 5 and 6 years old. They spend every waking moment with me, even having their own space while I work. I have two friendly and non reactive miniature schnauzers. Dog safe, fenced in yard with security cameras in every corner. Daily walks around West Village, when the pavement temperature allows. I am home 99% of the time, but dogs are crated when I need to run errands, both for their safety and peace of mind.

About: I have had pets in my home since I was a child. I had a senior dog I took care of for six years. I am very comfortable with dogs at all stages or any handicaps. I am home throughout the day and all evening with a flexible schedule. My home is relaxing with plenty of space. The fenced in yard is big and a pile of perfect sticks are waiting to be played with. The neighborhood is away from main roads and safe. I do have cameras in the home to keep an eye on things if I run errands. I have a fenced in large yard for safety if your furry friend stays here. I also have a private inside area if they need some downtime. I only have a couple steps into the home. If I visit them then all rules are strictly adhered too. I provide a lot of love and care, making sure they are calm, happy and safe. I tend to care for 4-6 dogs at a time. Many are high energy so your dog should be comfy with that environment. Lazy, sleepy dogs do well with it. I love to have Meet&Greets. I want you to feel comfortable with my space. If it turns out you are not on board 100%, I understand and have no hard feelings. The safety and happiness of your pet is everyone’s focus. Taking care of pets is my full time job so I am home based. I have a couple day care dogs during the work week and spend most of my day with them. I will follow through with your training and rules. Pets are spoiled with attention. I have a box of toys and treats for them. I will provide photos and videos plus regular updates.

About: My love of dogs came when I was four years old. It took me only five years to convince my father that I could handle a dog and that was the beginning. I have always adopted from a shelter and have even adopted to re-home dogs who were to be euthanized. I currently have a Duck Tolling Retriever who likes to sleep more than play. She is my love but I want to be able to play with your lonely dog too! I joined Rover.com because I enjoy walking and playing with dogs on a regular basis. I also have a 3 year old whos with me 3 days out of the week. I have a fenced in yard, all of my pups & my sisters are crated when not supervised.
