“Our two older boys came with us to Charleston for a family vacation. Our accommodations were not pet friendly but I wanted them to be nearby as they can be anxious when alone for extended periods. Anna and her husband were great and kept us updated on our boys all week. I could tell they felt right at home. She made sure they had what they needed and her home was great for my boys and similar to what they were used to at home. She sent me frequent updates and photos throughout the week. About: I’ve cared for dogs all my life and have extensive experience with older pups who need medication or extra patience. My home is child-free, and fenced in, and I work from home, so your dog will never be left alone for long. Whether your pup loves walks or just wants a peaceful place to rest, they’ll be treated like family here. We recently rescued a cute scruffy mixed terrier named Arthur. He LOVES all dogs so if you’re looking for companionship for your pup, he’s your guy! (Pups in the profile photo are our babies we lost in 2024 and 2025. Sitting thru Rover over the holidays helped us heal enough to adopt again in Feb❤️) Because I work from home, I’m able to give dogs plenty of attention and breaks throughout the day. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible—mealtimes, walks, meds, and all. You can count on regular updates and photos so you know your pup is happy, relaxed, and well cared for. Your dog’s comfort and safety are always my top priorities. My fenced-in yard gives them space to sniff and stretch safely, and all walks are on-leash in our quiet neighborhood.

I work from home Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM which allows me the flexibility to fit pet care into my daily routine. About: Caring for animals has always come naturally to me. From a young age, I was the one looking after our family pets, and that love only grew over time. In 2020, I welcomed my own dog, Hoss. He quickly became my best friend and a true part of my family. My husband and I own a house in West Ashley with a doggy door that leads to a big fenced in backyard that allows the dogs to romp around. I have hands-on experience with puppies, including the patience and consistency needed during teething, house-training, and early routines. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, including administering medication, monitoring comfort levels, and making sure they feel safe, supported, and relaxed. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or older and in need of extra attention, I tailor my care to meet their individual needs. My husband and I also foster for local rescues, including Journey Home Alliance and Lowcountry Lab Rescue. Between me and my husband, someone is generally almost always home. We have a fenced in yard with two animal friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. They are used to having animals come and go in our house through fostering rescue animals. Animals are treated like family in our home and are allowed on furniture. I can also easily crate your dog if needed while I am away from the house.

“Our two older boys came with us to Charleston for a family vacation. Our accommodations were not pet friendly but I wanted them to be nearby as they can be anxious when alone for extended periods. Anna and her husband were great and kept us updated on our boys all week. I could tell they felt right at home. She made sure they had what they needed and her home was great for my boys and similar to what they were used to at home. She sent me frequent updates and photos throughout the week. We appreciate her loving them like her own and will definitely use her services again if in the area with the pups! I recommend her for any family who wants their pups to be safe and happy while they are vacationing- I had peace of mind the whole time we were away!”

My dog Cappy stayed with her all weekend and she was very attentive at sending me pictures and updating me if anything happened. About: I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, ranging from energetic puppies to calm seniors, and everything from small breeds to large ones. That variety has taught me how to adjust my approach with puppies vs older dogs. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and just being attentive to each dog’s individual personality and needs. I have a very flexible schedule right now with lots of availability throughout the week, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends. I’m happy to accommodate walks, drop-ins, or boarding stays on short notice, and can adjust easily around your pet’s routine and any specific timing needs you have. I live in a house without a yard, so daily walks are part of our routine to make sure dogs get plenty of exercise and outdoor time. I don’t currently have a crate on hand, but I’m attentive and hands-on, giving your pet my full focus without other pets around to compete for attention.

I enjoyed being sent regular photo/text updates throughout my pup’s stay to check on how he was getting along. We will be using Chelsie again!”
