About: I’ve been pet sitting and dog walking for my family and friends for about 10 years now! I worked at a veterinary hospital during college and have a yellow lab named Candy who lives at home with my parents! About: I've had a dog in my life for the major majority of it. I've had 2 Shitzus, a German Shephard and an Akita. Quite the range. I traveled across the country with an Akita and that was such a great experience. I am very patient by nature and will care for you furry friend and give them all my attention and love. I have a somewhat flexible schedule. There are 3, sometimes 4 days a week where I’d be away for 6-7 hours. I like to be as transparent on everything. I’m not concerned about the dog having an accident in the house, it’s more of making sure they won’t be overly stressed out or anxious at that amount of time. I have a very secure fenced in yard that your pet will enjoy. There is a park directly across the street as well and I will also walk your dog around the Elmhurst neighborhood. I have a modest sized home with hardwood floors. Your pup is allowed on the furniture if its ok with you. A tired dog is a happy dog and I plan to play with your dog inside and outside the home. Your dog(s) or cat(s) will be my top priority. Other than work a few days a week which is stated above I’d be spending plenty of time playing and relaxing with your fur babies. I have a fenced in yard and live in a safe neighborhood. I have outdoor camera security system as well. I will take great care of your pet.

About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

We were traveling through Providence and had to keep our dog Cookie with her for two days consecutively and this was our first time with her. She absolutely made sure Cookie felt at home with her and also provided him with food ,walk ,toys plays etc. Cookie usually has anxiety issues at times so we were bit picky about choosing the right kind of day boarding for him. But Anely was a perfect choice.Though she was sitting few more dogs on those days but that never became an issue for our Cookie, so needless to say she is also expert at her job. Experience working with dogs of all ages and social levels. I am happy to wake up early, stay out late, and work part time during the week (some weeks off) from 8:30-4:10 but there will still be plenty of time to put your pets first! Ensuring your dog and you are comfortable is my first priority, I will take as much time as needed to adjust to your pups comforts.
