She happily offer to see if her groomer could squeeze him in for a quick nail trim. She was able to and I paid a small fee to the groomer. I plan to bring Charlie back for any future trips. About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

About: Erin and I both grew up with dogs and love having them around. Between caring for our siblings dogs periodically and being primary care takers of our dogs growing up we feel equipped to provide a safe and caring home. I am a remote worker so I am home throughout the week. Erin is a part time substitute teacher so she is home a few days as well. About: Hello, I’m a Brown University graduate who gave up on the corporate life to live off my art and my passion for animals. “Gary was fantastic. I had another sitter back out at the last minute, for the holiday weekend, and right when everyone is all of a sudden traveling again, and I was panicking. I’d also never left our furson with someone I didn’t know before. Gary was super calm, and put me at ease to leave Bosun with him, he was very communicative, and I never had to worry while we were gone, and was able to just enjoy our trip. Bosun, is a sweet boy, but is an intact male, which I know can be a lot to handle if you aren’t firm with him; both Gary and his sweet furson Amigo were patient with him, and able to tire him out enough to behave. I highly recommend Gary, and would have him pup sit anytime we are in the area again.”

She was very patient with our girl who was a bit anxious the first few days but Brenda was communicative and worked with Maisie to get her comfortable and settled and happy. She took Maisie on walks and to the dog park and gave her lots of love and care. Bonnie (resident dog) is a sweet playful girl and the dogs got along really well and had lots of play time. I would highly recommend Brenda as a sitter and Bonnie as co-sitter.”

“Jackie is AMAZING. She is so thoughtful and caring to your pet. She bought my dog a bone while he stayed with her and put him in a raincoat when it was raining out. She treats your dog as if it was her own. Dexter was so upset leaving her when I picked him up. It was reassuring with all the pictures during their stay and her calm demeanor. I can’t rave enough over her.”
