“We couldn’t be happier with the care Matt and Patty provided for our Golden Retriever during the 10 nights we were out of the country. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We were able to visit their home beforehand, and they have a wonderful setup, including a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for him to play. Throughout our trip, Matt and Patty sent us frequent updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They took him on daily walks around the neighborhood, gave him lots of attention, and it was very clear that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What really stood out to us was how they handled a day when he wasn’t feeling well and developed some stomach issues. Matt immediately contacted us, proactively made an appointment with the vet, and made sure we were comfortable with him taking our dog in to be seen. Afterward, Matt and Patty followed the vet’s recommendations closely and even cooked rice and beef for his meals for several days while his stomach recovered. They truly cared for him as if he were their own. When we returned, we came home to a very happy puppy, and we could tell he had been loved and well cared for the entire time. We are so excited to have found Matt and Patty. Finding people you can completely trust with your dog while you’re away is incredibly important, and we feel very fortunate to have found such reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring sitters. We would absolutely recommend them and will not hesitate to have them care for our dog again!”

“One of my 2 cats is medically complicated with IBD. His prevention regimen requires great attention to detail. He’s also very nervous around new people. So I selected Heather bc of her vet tech background and her “no-fear” technique training. Heather did an overnight stay to start build rapport for an upcoming longer vacation. Much to my surprise, both cats took to Heather right away. Her fear reduction techniques worked well. I could not believe the chummy photos she was sending me on her first stay! Also there was an unexpected wrinkle in my cat’s normal regimen, and Heather handled it as I would have if I were home. I could rest easy. I also like how she confirms and repeats back instructions related to my complicated cat, bc the wrong move could set off a chain reaction of unpleasantries. I look forward to hiring her again for the vacation.”

About: I have had cats and dogs for over 6 years (with many more years of hamster experience) and my husband was raised with many pets since he was 3 years old (cats, dogs, chicken and even birds). We like being surrounded by fur babies! We have three kitties and one Golden Doodle that is eager to have fun with your dog (he is very gentle despite his large size). Both my husband and I work remotely so at least one of us will be at the house at all times. We will be able to take care of your pet’s needs! We have a fenced yard (with night lights!) with ample space for dogs to run and do their business. We have a fully-furnished basement where guests doggies can spend as much private time as they want, sleep on the bean bag, or look at the window to the outside! We have crates that are large and medium in case they are needed.

About: I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities from young kittens and puppies to senior pets, tiny pups to large breeds like Cane Corsos. I’m active and love walks and playtime, but I’m just as happy providing a calm, comfortable environment for older or more laid back pets. About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and grew up with my first dog, a Pit Bull and Chocolate Lab mix, who was with me from birth until I was 16. About: Since 2016, I’d eagerly come home each day looking forward to taking my dog, Teddy, on long walks outside. About: I’ve cared for about 8 dogs in my life. I currently own two and all of them have been like my best friends. I also used to volunteer at a pitbull rescue for a year and a half while serving in the military. I also have a cat and have been cat sitting neighbors cats since I was 10. “We couldn’t be happier with the care Matt and Patty provided for our Golden Retriever during the 10 nights we were out of the country. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We were able to visit their home beforehand, and they have a wonderful setup, including a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for him to play. Throughout our trip, Matt and Patty sent us frequent updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They took him on daily walks around the neighborhood, gave him lots of attention, and it was very clear that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What really stood out to us was how they handled a day when he wasn’t feeling well and developed some stomach issues. Matt immediately contacted us, proactively made an appointment with the vet, and made sure we were comfortable with him taking our dog in to be seen. Afterward, Matt and Patty followed the vet’s recommendations closely and even cooked rice and beef for his meals for several days while his stomach recovered. They truly cared for him as if he were their own. When we returned, we came home to a very happy puppy, and we could tell he had been loved and well cared for the entire time. We are so excited to have found Matt and Patty. Finding people you can completely trust with your dog while you’re away is incredibly important, and we feel very fortunate to have found such reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring sitters. We would absolutely recommend them and will not hesitate to have them care for our dog again!”
“Pluto LOVED staying with Marie. She sent many photos and kept me updated on Plutos stay. He was cuddled up in most of the photos and had the best time playing with Marie and her husband. Pluto got so much love and lots of treats during his stay. Pluto will be back to see Marie again soon!!”
