About: I've taken care of my neighbors cats for about 3 years give or take. I got my own cat about 2 years ago and he is one of my bestest animal friends. I have experience with feeding, cleaning litter boxes, cases of emergency, and one time I was sitting a cat the owner had me take it on walks! I have never had to administer medicine on a cat before, but I have for dogs so it is definitely something I could figure out or learn.

“Sharon was very responsive. It was easy to communicate with her via phone, email, & text. She kept me well updated on how my pup was doing. She had a box of dog toys & my puppy found them & started playing right away. Her yard is not fenced however, she had a tether line that allowed my pup to explore most of the yard. Sharon also entertained my pup with our own favorite toys from home such as bubble & puzzles. This was my 1st time to try this service & to leave my 5 month old puppy & I was nervous at first but, Sharon's calming patient personality put me & my pup at ease. My puppy was happy to see me but didn't seem to have missed me much. I would use her for puppy sitting again if I ever had the need. Thank you Sharon for such a nice experience.”

Your dog, when with me, is the most important person in the world to me. I don’t text or talk on the phone when with your pet. All my attention is focused on your loved ones safety I work part time from home. Very flexible hours You name the time of day or night and I can be there. I am looking for 3-4 regular clients. I cannot have a pet overnight. It’s not allowed where I live. I can watch your pet at your pets home, which I think makes them feel more comfortable. I normally just sleep on the couch with the dogs. When they are with me, they are as loved as they are my own. It’s very hard for me to say goodbye so it’s often when I am with a doggy for 45 min and I am only booked for 30 min. I am just switching to Rover from Wag I had over 300 dogs and 50 preferred clients. If you were to go to their site, you will see, I am by the numbers, their highest rated walker. “I can’t say enough good things about Sue! She was so incredibly accommodating and patient with my dog. My dog, Sadie, was uncharacteristically anxious and scared on our vacation. She was having a really hard time separating from me at all. Sue took the time to get her acclimated with the new environment and allowed me into her home to give Sadie time to adjust and get comfortable. She played calming music for Sadie and gave her her favorite treat- peanut butter. By the time we picked Sadie up, she was very happy and more back to herself. Sue gave Sadie so much love and attention the whole time I was at the aquarium. I was able to have a good time, knowing my dog was in good hands. Sue kept me updated on Sadie’s progress with texts, pictures and videos. I am so very grateful and would recommend Sue to anyone seeking a great pet sitter!”

About: I'm pretty new to Rover, but I’ve been caring for animals for most of my life and have experience with dogs, cats, hedgehogs, fish, and other small pets. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages, including seniors, and have experience administering oral medications, handling emergencies, and providing daily exercise and enrichment. I’m happy to schedule a meet-and-greet before services to learn your pet’s routine and ensure they feel comfortable. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just hanging out, my goal is to keep your pet happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. Safety is always my top priority, and I treat every home with respect—often leaving it a little cleaner than I found it. I am working a part time job during the weekdays, usually the shifts are 11am-4 or 5pm, and on the weekends I work longer shifts which vary in time. However... I have many weeks off here and there so I am free a lot of the time. My job is pretty flexible most of the time so I can leave work to walk your pups and make sure they are okay and then go back to work. My yard has an Invisible Fence for my dogs which works out quite nicely and whenever I have other people's dogs over I make sure to keep them on a leash so no accidents happen. That being said, I live with my parents so I would be more geared towards servicing in home visits and stays with your pets at your home.

About: I’ve been caring for and walking dogs in my neighborhood for many years and have always loved being around animals. I’ve had two dogs of my own over the years, so I understand how important it is to give pets plenty of attention, care, and love. About: I've had pets of all types from Agway to Petco and beyond since I was 12 years old. My bond seems to be the strongest with dogs, but some say I have a gift with all animals. I recently cared for my best friend Salty for 16 years, and he would want me to share my lessons learned with other deserving pups! I work only part time, remote and in the office. My schedule is very flexible and I love to be outside in any weather. I am focused on dogs, but if you have some other unique friend, I'm willing to discuss options so not pet is left behind! I have a large garage pups love to run in, and I’m very close to 6 parks and the beaches, and do not have any other pets at this time. Salty, our Jack Russell Terrier left us on May 30, 2025. Although we miss him terribly, we learned a lot about dogs over the past 16 years with him!
About: I have had dogs since I was a child. I adopted a Golden Retriever from the South before I married and then adopted another dog (Springer/Brittany mix) from the shelter once I was married. He was the best $25 I ever spent!! He was like my best friend! Then we rescued a German Short Haired Pointer- what a love ! Those boys were very active and required daily runs! I took care of them both until they passed away. When they left us, we rescued two English Setters from Turkey. They are hands down my absolute sweethearts. They are 10 and 12 now. We aren’t running the beach anymore, but we are very happy with long walks in the woods. They are so spoiled - sleep by the fire, sleep in bed with us, sleep in my car- it’s like their crate and they absolutely love to be in it. I also had a cat that I rescued who lived 8 years with us until he passed away and now I have a barn cat. I feed her nightly, but I’m positive I’ve been feeding an opossum for some time! We have met a couple of times- from a distance! I feed her, talk to her nicely and let her be. I have also taken care of my neighbor’s Irish Wolf Hound when my neighbor had long days of doctor appointments in Boston. I am excited to start taking care of cats and dogs for more people. I know what it’s like to need someone you can trust. My pets are like my children! I am obsessed with their well being. I want them to be happy, safe, well fed, exercised and loved all the time!!! I promise to take the best care of your pet and give them all the love they need when you can’t be home. I am very dependable, patient and trustworthy. I was a preschool special education teacher in Providence for 16 years before I became a stay at home mom. My kids are teens now, so have some time to devote to pet care. I am currently UVM nursing alum with lots of free time on my hands this summer to walk, feed, play with, and let out pets. My availability should be accurate, but sometimes changes. I always treat other’s homes with care, and ensure to leave them better then I found them. I make a point to ensure every environment is safe and comfortable for pets. Safety is always my number one priority, and I can ensure all pets are safe while under my care.

About: I’ve been working with and caring for animals my entire life. My experience includes working as a vet tech, groomer, trap & release, spay & nueter programs, pet sitting, dog walking, animal transport, rescue and fostering. I am also comforable with administering medications and working with all personality traits. I understand the pack dynamic and am not intimidated when handling multiple pet type homes and dogs of all sizes. I am patient and animals respond well to my calm and confident nature. I work full time through out the school year and part time during the summer and can easily adjust my work schedule to accommodate drop in visits and dog walking services. Visiting pets can be crated if needed or gated in their own room while I am away from home. While I am home they will be free to roam the house and enjoy outside time safely in my fenced in yard.
About: I have always loved taking care of animals. I often take care of families pets when needed. I have also taken care of friends pets. I go to school at the University of Rhode Island. I have time in between my classes to make some extra cash and I have always loved looking after dogs and cats I take care of my aunts dog the most. Take him out for walks and to use the potty. Feed him. And obviously making sure he is the happiest puppy in town.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and 3 dogs of my own as an adult. I currently have a 4 year old sheepdog mix, she is the light of my life. I am fully retired and looking to keep busy and earn a little money, taking care of your pet(s) as though they were my own. I am retired and enjoy spending my days with a fitness class and being outdoors as much as possible. I’m readily available to provide undivided attention to your furry family member(s). Play dates with my pup are an option as well as boarding in my home. I always use a leash. My home has a fenced yard. I will pick up after the pet, feed, medicate, etc. I will treat your pet and your home as I would my own.
