“Anely is an excellent sitter very warm ,affectionate and accomodating . We were traveling through Providence and had to keep our dog Cookie with her for two days consecutively and this was our first time with her. She absolutely made sure Cookie felt at home with her and also provided him with food ,walk ,toys plays etc. Cookie usually has anxiety issues at times so we were bit picky about choosing the right kind of day boarding for him. But Anely was a perfect choice.Though she was sitting few more dogs on those days but that never became an issue for our Cookie, so needless to say she is also expert at her job. It was because of Anely that we could enjoy Newport and other attractions of RI so much without having to worry about how Cookie is doing. She also sent us hourly updates with pictures over texts. I strongly recommend Anely to all other pet parents. Thank you so much.”

About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

About: My partner and I have been caring for animals from bunnies to horses for our entire lives. Friends and family have relied and continue to rely on us to walk, feed, and board their pets. We do this because we love the companionship pups! Pets will be carefully looked after by my partner and I. They’ll be preoccupied daily with loads of activities! Parents are welcome to pictures/videos while they’re away. Your pets will have access to food/water, furniture, toys, undivided attention and unconditional love! Our dogs start the day by zooming and playing in our fully fenced in yard. Throughout the day we practice commands and do various activities. Here, we love dog puzzles and mentally and physically stimulating activities! Our house is pet friendly with plenty of space to play inside or out, depending on the weather. We also have pets of our own, who are very high energy and playful! We prefer gradual introductions to keep everyone calm and safe so your dogs will not meet ours during initial meet and greets. They’ll likely only meet ours if they stay multiple times or for more than 3 days. Entering a new environment or being cared for by someone new can be stressful for pets so we pay close attention to how each pet responds and acts and make sure to cater according to their individual needs, giving them space or activities as needed. Your pet will be loved, safe, and well cared for while they are here!

My children are grown ups and out of the house on their own. My home is empty with just me and my elderly mother. I still love to have my freedom but would love to take on sitting your pet in my home or your home. I also work from home M-F, so your pet will have me with them for a majority of the time I’m caring for them. I work from home Monday-Fri and have lots of free time to take care of your pet in my home or in your home. Give me a shot please! About: Hello, I’m a Brown University graduate who gave up on the corporate life to live off my art and my passion for animals. I’ve always had pets in my life, especially cats, and I’ve been caring for them since I was a kid. Growing up, I also helped watch my neighbors’ pets whenever they needed an extra hand. Now, I’m a proud dog mom to Bonnie, a sweet Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd mix I share with my partner. Because she’s our first dog, we dove deep into research—while at Brown, we studied canine behavior and body language to better understand how dogs communicate and what they need to feel safe and happy. That knowledge has been invaluable in helping us welcome pet guests into our home. When your pets stay with us, they’ll be treated just like Bonnie—with cuddles, love, fun walks, playtime, and plenty of care. My goal is always to make them feel at home, comfortable, and loved. My schedule is very flexible, so I have plenty of time to walk, feed, play with, and cuddle your pets throughout the day. Whether they need extra attention, long walks, or just companionship, I’m here to make sure they always feel cared for. The first priority for me when caring for animals is safety. I pay close attention to the environment and make sure pets are always comfortable and secure. For dogs, I have a safe yard where they can play, take potty breaks, or just relax outside. I also live in a very pet-friendly neighborhood, perfect for safe walks and trips to the park. For cats, my home is equipped with window protection so they can’t slip outside (unless they are leash-trained or outdoor cats whose owners prefer outside time). I always respect each owner’s preferences—whether that means leash walks, indoor-only care, or a specific routine. If not in my own house, it's my pleasure to go to the owners house to take care of the cats! I will check the whole house to make sure everything is in order, clean everything, feed, hang out and play with the little ones! I pay attention to each animal’s unique needs. I believe communication is key, so I’ll always ask questions and keep in touch to make sure we’re on the same page.
