“Kim did a great job watching the boys and tending to their mischievous adventures climbing into the rafters.?? She stayed at the house and showed great respect for my space. I will definitely book her again.”

“Delaney is awesome! She really went above and beyond to take care of my cat even if it was just for the short 30 min check ins! She fully followed my instructions and did more than she had to. If I need a sitter again will definitely be rebooking with her”

“This is who you want taking care of your pets. Dependable and takes his time giving them some company while you’re away. Sends you several pics of them so you can check in. Will definitely be booking Gerard again.”

“Sarah & Amy are great! They helped watch my cats, one of whom needs a daily pill but is extremely difficult and dramatic about it. And yet they were willing to do what it took to make sure he got it! They were communicative and helpful, and even managed to ger my other cat (who is very shy) to come out of her shell by the end for some pets! Definitely would rebook.”

“Anna was amazing with our cat, Mozzarella! This was our first time using Rover, and she made the whole process so easy with her great communication and updates. Mozzarella absolutely loved her! We felt completely comfortable knowing he was in such good hands. We’re so excited to book with Anna again in the future!”

“Briana took great care of our cat who loves company and is very affectionate. She has a good sense of how to respond to the needs of the cat in her care and clearly loves animals. Her daily updates were detailed and very reassuring. Our cat rushed to the door to say hi to yer when she dropped off the house keys.”

“Noah’s amazing! He really cared about making sure he took the best care of my cats. He always asked great questions and ensured the cats were getting everything they need.”

“Jules was wonderful with our three cats. Not only did she keep up with the tasks of litter duties and feedings, but she located each cat to give them some love, attention, playtime, and treats. She also took plenty of photos and it was nice seeing our fur babies as it relieved us to know they were in good hands and would be well taken care of. It's a lot to handle with three hungry felines, but especially the litter box cleanup routine. Jules managed it all and we appreciated her attention to detail, the many photos, and the updates/notes! Thank you, Jules! Wonderful job!!! Pamela”

“Michelle is wonderful with our cat! It's clear she's an animal lover and our slightly shy kitty is comfortable with her. She is great with communication and is punctual and responsible. It's a treat and reassuring seeing her photos and Rover cards every day. She even watered our garden for us while we were out of town! Highly recommended.”

“Katarina took great care of our kitties while we went away for the weekend. From our first phone conversation, it was very clear how much she loves animals and it left us feeling reassured that our babies were in capable & loving hands. She sent us pivs of our babies and gave daily updates. Great work by an excellent pet sitter. We would not hesitate to use Katarina again!”

“Jennifer was absolutely wonderful! From the start she was professional, communicative, and clearly experienced. I felt completely at ease knowing everything was in such capable hands, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. I would not hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, kind, and attentive.”

“Amazing amazing amazing care from Kayla! Daisy was visibly comfortable and happy in all of her update pics! Kayla was on time and had no problem following instructions. She went above and beyond by feeding our bunny in the morning too, and it was such a good feeling to know both of them were in good hands. She’s definitely made repeat customers out of us!”

About: My husband and I will both be taking care of your pup. We both grew up with multi-dog households and fully embrace the 'pets as family' way of life. Our seven year old herding dog is our constant companion and his cat sister is not far behind. With new dogs in the house, she tends to just keep to herself on the bottom floor of the house so dogs not good with cats are not a problem. We walk our dog at least twice a day. It is not our style to simply let him out back to do his business. While at our house, your dog(s) can also count on a solo or shared walk at least twice a day with "let outs" in between. Our dog's food is homemade as we have been through the allergy cycle with our pup too many times. This makes us very comfortable with and understanding of varied eating habits and dietary needs. We are comfortable administering medications if need be. We would LOVE your pup to snuggle on the couch or curl up in bed with us as our own prefers to simply guard the herd. We started really dog sitting for friends and family when we were still living in an apartment but now that we have a house to ourselves, it has been easier to open our doors up to more pups and more often at that. We have had senior dogs on medications, young pups in the midst of crate training, wildly active athletic types, food guarding growlers, and snuggle pups who sleep under the covers with us. Tony co-owns a business so has flexible hours and Emily is a local teacher with lunch breaks that allow for popping home to let the dog out during the week. If we go away it is mostly within New England to see family and have used Rover ourselves and loved it. At night and on the weekends you can find us curled up at home.

“Very welcoming host, nice big backyard, kept us updated with numerous photos. Wasn't sure our dog would line being around other dogs but it worked out well.”

About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.
“Sonia is absolutely fantastic! My dog Isla had an amazing time and was so happy and tired when we picked her up. We'll definitely keep rebooking going forward! Having just adopted my dog ~6 months ago, this is the first time we've left her with anyone other than family and I have to say I was SO comfortable and happy knowing that she was in great care. Sonia sent pictures almost immediately to let us know Isla was settling in and more to follow up during the day. Highly, highly recommend Sonia-- wonderful experience knowing that my dog was in the best possible hands!”

About: I grew up with dogs all my life but since moving to boston I haven't found a forever buddy so in the meanwhile I would love to take care of yours. I work full time at home but have a very flexible schedule. I am usually up by 6 am and go to bed as late as 10 pm. I usually take the doggies on a walk around 7-8 am then again around 12-2pm and then again in the evening 6-8pm. I will follow the the guidelines you provide for me of how to best take care of your furry one. I am organized and active.
“Joseph was exceptional. I needed to find a caring, reliable day care situation for my dog overnight as my work schedule had shifted drastically. Within less than an hour of contacting him, Joseph and I were on the phone figuring out if Stevie would be a good fit. He was understanding and reassuring, and I felt great about taking her to his home the next day. His family was so kind to her, and she clearly had a blast as she was out like a light as soon as we were in the car. Joseph is a ridiculously lucky find, let alone in stressful last minute circumstances. Will definitely be booking with him again!”

“Another great few days with Ty! She communicates clearly, follows through on all logistics and timelines, and most importantly, cares for Dexter with kindness and diligence. He loves spending time with her!”

“Isabel took wonderful care of Dexter this week! We so enjoyed her thoughtful and informative daily updates. She made sure he was comfortable, following his usual daily schedule and fostering positive and playful interactions with her dog Griggs. We are grateful for her proactive and in-depth communication and her timely pickups and dropoffs. She is a dog sitting gem!”

“Anely is incredibly kind a great dog sitter! I’ve been leaving my dog with her for weekly dog sitting and the occasional overnight stay for a month and a half now, and he always comes back refreshed and excited! She’s incredibly flexible to schedule changes and sudden needs to extend a day-care stay into an overnight stay. Cannot recommend her more!!!”

About: What sets me apart is the personalized care I provide to every dog. I treat each pet like family and take the time to learn their unique personality, routine, and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’ve experienced caring for dogs of all ages, including senior dogs who require extra patience, gentle handling, medication, and a consistent routine. I’m dependable, attentive, and believe every dog deserves plenty of exercise, affection, and one-on-one attention. I also keep pet parents updated with photos and messages giving you peace of mind knowing your furry family member is happy and in caring hands! As a college student athlete, I am organized, responsible, and maintain a consistent routine. My schedule in the evening evenings/weekends allows me to provide dependable pet care, including walks, feeding, playtime, medication if needed, and plenty of attention during these warm summer weeks. As I am a college student living in a house, I can take pets when needed. Typically I go to the clients home and coordinate with the owner rules and responsibilities there.
About: Tim and Maxine are a devoted couple who provide calm, attentive, home-based care for dogs. Maxine has had dogs since age 8, and they have always been an important part of her life. Together, they share a deep love for animals and extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs of different temperaments and needs. Maxine also grew up in a household involved in wildlife rehabilitation, witnessing hands-on care for squirrels, birds, and other vulnerable animals. Animals have always been central to their lives. They are warm, gentle, and patient, and because they do not work outside the home, dogs receive consistent presence, supervision, and affection throughout the day. Dog care is naturally woven into our daily and weekly routine because we do not work outside the home. Being home allows us to structure our day around the cats’ needs rather than fitting care into limited free time. We are present throughout the day for feeding, walks, dog park visits, play, monitoring behavior, and providing comfort and attention. Because our schedule is flexible and home-based, we can respond quickly to changes in appetite, mood, or health, and maintain a calm, consistent environment that helps dogs feel safe and settled. We offer boarding exclusively in our home, providing dogs with a calm, safe, and structured environment. Because we are home full-time, dogs receive consistent supervision, walks, dog park outings, regular feeding, daily interaction, and close monitoring of behavior and comfort. We follow each dog’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules and any special instructions.
“Lisa was so good with our dog, very attentive, and very clearly a pet lover! We also received many cute pictures and updates which we really appreciated. Our dog had a great time with her. Highly recommend!”

“Zachary was great and took Oakley in last-minute after my other sitter cancelled. He was very understanding of Oakley's needs and they seemed to have a great time!”

“My pup was happy with Elba. Sent pictures and videos. Gave treats. When I picked him up I could tell that he was happy and liked her. Will be using her services again.”

About: Hi! My name is Caroline, I am a pet lover, residing in Pawtucket RI! I’d love to help you and your furry friend with dog walks or drop in visits. I’ve worked with all different kinds of dogs, sizes and ages, and have had experience doing drop in visits for cats. My biggest concern is making sure your dog is comfortable and safe in the environment they are in. I will always ensure that they are well taken care of and that their environment is just right.

Xavier goes above and beyond by making sure the puppy mess is picked up at our house before he leaves. I highly recommend Xavier for your pet.”

About: I’ve taken care of my partners dog for the past two years, I’ve trained her to do things like spin, sit, wait, and paw. I have a background in parrot training, and if you know anything about parrots it’s that they are stubborn, so regardless of your pet I have the patience for any personality! I am a college student and part time nanny, so on weekends I have tons of free time to care for your companion, it brings me a sense of fulfillment because I am unable to own one myself. When I am not home my room is free roam all shoes and possible choking hazards are put away out of reach. Typically a morning walk in the yard on leash is done then an afternoon walk twice, and an after dinner before bed walk is completed. In between we do some play time/training. My favorite trick to train is spin!

“Susan goes about and beyond! I don’t know what I would do w/o her and my Bentley loves her. She cares for him as if Her as if he were her own dog. I’m so glad we found her.:).”

About: I’m a compassionate dog walker with 12+ years of experience & a lifelong passion for animal care. I started by dog sitting as a child, then volunteered at animal shelters walking dogs & caring for cats in my teens to early 20s. From 2016 to 2019, I also volunteered on a farm, caring for a variety of animals. I have experience working with pets who have emotional challenges or traumatic backgrounds & am especially patient with those needing extra care. In 2022, I earned my Veterinary Assistant certification & completed an externship at a clinic specializing in both Western & holistic medicine. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments & can recognize early signs of illness or distress. Many dogs who are typically wary of men feel at ease with me due to my calm, intuitive approach even my senior colleagues had easier attempts to exam the dogs back paws or trim nails with I’m in the room. I treat every pet like my own. I am available Monday through Friday 7am-5pm. I can do earlier or later on those days with notice. I am around some weekends & can coordinate that with notice as well. I make sure the areas i walk the dogs are appropriate for the dog I'm caring for. The first walk i will get a history & use my experience to find the best route for the dog I'm caring for during that i will pay close attention to you’re dogs safety as well as stress levels & make sure your dogs safety & emotional wellbeing is supported.

I am happy to help with your pet's feeding, playtime, and exercise routines throughout the day! Safety is my top priority. I am here to supervise play and potty breaks in my fully fenced yard. I closely follow your specific care instructions, including feeding schedules and crate routines. I’m home most of the day, but I do sometimes pop out for quick errands. Before leaving, I always make sure the dogs are safely tucked into their crates or separated so they stay safe and happy while I’m gone. You'll get plenty of regular photo updates so you can see your pet is safe and having fun!
“Lisa, her fam, and Otis are the best. Murph had a blast and I felt completely comfortable with her abilities, as well as all the time she spent with him. We will be using her services again!”

“Awesome, just awesome. Kenny and Kaylan watched our year and a half year old lab Knox while we were away for the weekend and it was great. Communication was fantastic, pictures and updates sent throughout our time away. I would highly recommend Kenny and Kaylan if you need help with your dog while you’re away and will absolutely be using them again!”

About: We both have experience living with animals. Mary grew up and lived on a farm with many cats and dogs, as well as worked in a pet store on Nantucket Island in Massachusetts. Nick grew up owning fish, dogs, cats, and a number of hamsters and gerbils. We both love animals and want to make sure they aren't only taken care of, but also happy. We are living on the east side of Providence right now. We can book overnights stays, walks midday, or host for a fun/quiet night. . During those stays we will be able to take care of the animals at all times and accommodate them properly. We both currently work in the city but have flexible times during the day and weekends. We take them on plenty of walks and make sure they get to move throughout the day. Playtime is super important for most animals, not just taking them on a daily walk. We treat out clients animals as if they were our own. Regular/routine feeding times, outdoor activity, and plenty of love and care.
