“Our dog Poncho stayed with Chonlada for a week while we were on vacation and we could not take him with us. She was very flexible and agreeable to a meet & greet beforehand. Poncho and her dog Tokie were similar in size, age, and activity level so they seemed to get along great. She has a large fenced property for the dogs to explore and run around. I got daily updates as well as pictures and videos of Poncho, which made my family and I feel better about leaving him. Chonlada and her family took great care of Poncho (spoiled him...lol) and made sure he ate his meals and slept comfortably. They also comforted him during a thunder storm, which he does not like. Chonlada even contacted me when she noticed that Poncho was licking his paws and had a small abrasion, which she treated and monitored. About: My husband and absolutely love dogs. We have a loving spacious home for him to run around in. I am always watching my parents or siblings dog and it’s always a blast to do so! My husband and I both work from home, so we’re able to spend a lot of time with our dog throughout the day. We take him on walks totaling at least 2 miles every day and love getting outside with him whenever we can. We also make sure he gets plenty of playtime, attention, and exercise, and we enjoy taking him along with us on walks, errands, and adventures whenever possible. We have a large dog who has his own bedroom with a full-size bed, which he absolutely loves! We also have two dog beds downstairs so he has plenty of comfortable places to relax throughout the house. Our back porch has a long leash where he can safely spend some time outside and enjoy the fresh air. He is no in the crate, but we do have a large crate in the basement available if needed.

About: Hello! Aside from growing up around dogs all my life, (a pug and rotties!) I also worked at two animal hospitals as a kennel attendant. Kennel attendants are responsible for taking care of your dogs & cats while you're away! I work at a veterinary hospital so I’m the person who naturally notices the "little things," but when I’m walking your pup, it’s all about the good stuff—fresh air, tail wags, and a serious amount of attention!!! I’ll keep you in the loop with plenty of cute photo updates so you don’t feel like you’re missing out. This isn't just a job for me; I converse, love and care for each dog or cat as my own. I work night shift at a veterinary hospital which gives me a flexible schedule for morning, afternoon and evening feeds, walks and weekend adventures! Whether your pup needs a quick potty break or a stroll to burn off energy, I’m here to make sure they get exactly what they need while you’re busy. Getting out with your dog is the best part of my day! Since I work in a veterinary environment, safety is second nature to me. I’m the person who double-checks the leash, keeps a sharp eye on surroundings, and makes sure the water bowl is always fresh. I treat your home with respect and your pet like they’re my own. About: I have 3 dogs of my own who are treated like royalty. I watch my neighbors pets, dogs, cats, bearded dragon, when they are out of town. I volunteer with a dog rescue when I can, Rylie’s Rescue, transporting, and foster care. I absolutely love all animals! I work part time, 3 days a week. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, from 11-6pm. All other days I’m completely available. I could always stop in before and after work. I prefer to watch in your home, I have 3 dogs, our Toy Australian Shepherd, has had to have surgery on 3 legs, so I rather keep him calm and not bring too much excitement to our home.

“This was our first time leaving our dog, Bernie, with Shona (for an entire week) and we can’t say enough good things about the care he received. We consider our dog to be a member of the family and we were initially nervous about leaving Bernie with a stranger. But Shona met with us ahead of time, and we could tell she was warm and caring. After the first day we could tell that Bernie was well taken care of and happy while there. We received multiple pictures daily of Bernie doing things he only does when he is relaxed (cuddling, belly rubs, passing out on the couch). Bernie cuddled witwh her teenage kids. Shona was very communicative and immediately responsive. We immediately booked her for our next vacation. We highly recommend Shona and will use her in the future for all of our boarding needs.”

About: My husband and absolutely love dogs. We have a loving spacious home for him to run around in. I am always watching my parents or siblings dog and it’s always a blast to do so! My husband and I both work from home, so we’re able to spend a lot of time with our dog throughout the day. We take him on walks totaling at least 2 miles every day and love getting outside with him whenever we can. We also make sure he gets plenty of playtime, attention, and exercise, and we enjoy taking him along with us on walks, errands, and adventures whenever possible. We have a large dog who has his own bedroom with a full-size bed, which he absolutely loves! We also have two dog beds downstairs so he has plenty of comfortable places to relax throughout the house. Our back porch has a long leash where he can safely spend some time outside and enjoy the fresh air. He is no in the crate, but we do have a large crate in the basement available if needed.
