“Carole was amazing to work with! She responded promptly to messages and provided our dogs wonderful care as if they were her own. This was our first experience using Rover and we are so happy we found her. Mei Mei and Georgia loved their stay at Carole’s place and we will definitely be using her again in the future.”

“We had a sick family member and needed someone to watch Hugs in a pinch. Tiffany was great with Hugs and super responsive. We appreciate her taking her on such late notice. Hugs had a great time and it is good knowing someone will treat your pet like family while you are away. Thanks Tiffany!!”

“Our doodle has A LOT of anxiety when she boards at regular dog kennels. She loves to run and rarely has problems on my family’s farm. We were looking for a similar place that would reduce her anxiety while we were on vacation. For the first time in a long time when on vacation we did not have to worry about her. She looked so happy in the photos and videos. We got daily updates on how she was doing with photos and videos. We will be back and we are so happy that they are local in case we are going a quick day trip.”

“Melissa is a very special pet sitter!! Our dog had a hard first couple days trying to settle in as it was only his second time in someone else’s home over night. She went above and beyond to help him feel comfortable. I received lots of pictures of Winston doing his favorite things! I know that he was well taken care of with Melissa!”

“Janette and her family were so wonderful watching our new puppy Simon! She proactively sent updates and Simon was treated like a member of the family. We’ll definitely be repeat customers!”

“Amanda had my active puppy for an entire week - she was so well cared for and had so much fun. Amanda sent pictures so we could see how our little fur baby was doing along the way. Her large fenced in yard was perfect! Highly recommend!”

“We had a great experience boarding our dog on Martin’s farm. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful from start to finish. They were able to accommodate a last-minute booking without hesitation and kept us updated along the way, which we really appreciated. Katiya came back happy, well cared for, and completely worn out in the best way. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again.”

About: Hi! I’ve grown up with pets all my life. Now that I’m an adult I have 5 cats and a dog. I’ve fostered (and foster failed) both cats and dogs over the years. I watch my friend’s pets here and at their homes as well. At my house I have a spare room that can be your animal’s home away from home if they need their own secluded space. I also have a fenced in yard with friendly neighbors who are also animal lovers. Come in the summer and I’ll send you home with some fresh veggies from my garden too! I get up early for work and make sure to leave plenty of time to feed, clean litter boxes and make sure all my four legged babies are ready for the day. Once home in the afternoon and after I lay down on the couch they all come to find me for love and to lay on me for all the pets. At night all are welcome to sleep with me, on the couch or wherever they are the most comfortable. I home almost all day over the weekends except for the morning time on Sundays. I have a fenced in yard so any dogs are able to go outside whenever they need to to play, pee or lay in the sun. I watch my neighbor’s dogs as needed and will go over every 4 or so hours to let them out over the weekends. During the week I let them out before I go to work and then as soon as I come home. I then let them out again before bed around 8pm. I also am able to let them out as needed when they are in a pinch and can’t get home in time. My cats and yours if they come for a stay will have water and toys available to them at all times. They will be fed twice a day with a snack of crunchies before bed. If you needed me to come to your house to take care of your cats and/or dogs, I would be able to come early in the morning, after work and before bed during the week and every 4-6 hours during the weekend. While at your house I can take animals for a walk, play, give pets and love, brush or whatever else is needed. Of course I’d feed them and clean kitty litter boxes or whatever else your babies need. I am good with giving medicine to cats and dogs. I give daily medication to my dog and have had to give cats medicine in the past.
“Diego and Amelia took care of my dog for an entire day so I could focus on moving. They kept him for 4 hrs longer than planned. They were completely understanding and I felt comfortable the entire time.”

“Tom was flexible with our travel plans and his ability to accommodate our 3.5-year-old Golden Retriever. We really appreciated the opportunity to meet him and introduce him to Sadie in advance of our trip. He sent us pictures and it was obvious that she was treated well and was very content. It is reassuring to know that while you are on vacation your fur-baby is well-cared for.”

“Jean was great! This was our first time leaving our dog with her. He can get a bit anxious and can have a hard time in new places, she helped calm him. She also assured us as well and didn’t make us feel like we needed to return from our trip early. I would definitely recommend Jean!”

“Jenn has been my go to cat-sitter for a while now. I have a very shy cat and one that is more friendly and Jenn does such a great job with each of them and always communicates so well with photos and updates. My first step while planning any trip is to check if Jenn is available.”

About: Let's be honest: cats run the house, and I’m just here to make sure they’re happy while you're away. Working at a vet clinic has taught me how to read cat body language and respect their space—whether they want a marathon play session with a feather wand or just a quiet companion to hang out in the same room. I’ll keep you posted with plenty of photos so you can see your cat is relaxed and well-cared for. My passion for rescue started with my dog, Buddy, who I saved from being euthanized. That experience taught me that every pet is a life-changer, and I bring that same level of heart and attention to every cat I visit.
“erika stayed with & cared for my two precious cats while i was out of town. they are my spoiled babies & i adore them which it was clear erika realized right away. when she came for meet & greet she asked good questions & wanted to be sure she did a good job. & that she did...(& i am very picky)..she took excellent care of my kitties & made sure my lil finicky one ate well. she also communicated frequently & well & with photos. i truly was able to visit my grand children without worrying at all about the cats or their care. will definitely request her again if the need arises.”

About: I speak fluent cat... which mostly means I know when to offer treats, when to break out the wand toy, and when I've been politely asked to leave someone's personal bubble. As a cat foster, I've cared for kittens, seniors, shy cats, and the self-appointed rulers of the household. I'm used to different personalities, medication schedules, zoomies at 2 a.m., and finding cats in places that definitely shouldn't fit a cat. I'll care for your cat like they're my own and keep you updated with photos, because I know being away from them can be just as hard on you as it is on them.

About: I’ve taken care of many cats in their owners homes from shy babies to the very outgoing ones. I have experience watching American shorthairs to rag dolls to bengals. I am able to feed any kind of diets from simple dry food to complex raw meals that require plenty of prep time.

I am currently working part-time so I will have plenty of time to care for your fur babies! I am a home body, so I am always at home and also have my mom and grandmom in the home to help if need be. In a clients home, I will leave it completely up to you, how I walk, feed, crate, etc. your dog. But I will always care for your dog as if they were my own! About: I have owned, trained and cared for dogs, cats and horses over the last 17 years. I also work with a dog rescue organization in the area and have fostered over 40 dogs in the last 3 years. As an avid animal lover I understand the significant impact that owning animals has on our ability to travel and relax when away. I want to provide people the opportunity to travel care-free while their dogs enjoy the best care being boarded in my home. I have a very dog-friendly house with a fully secure fenced in yard. I work from home so dogs receive attention all day and night and get lots of playtime. Dogs boarded here will get free roam of the house but can also have and use a crate at the owner’s request. I am able to feed special diets and give medication as needed. If your dog stays here they will be welcomed into my house as if they were one of my own. Dogs that come here should be friendly with both male and female dogs. There are no cats in the home. I am also available for lunch time, evening and weekend dog walking. I work from home and am here almost all of the time for boarding in my home. I am also available to provide dog walks during the week in the evenings, sometimes over lunch and on the weekends. Dogs cared for in my home will be treated as if they were my own. They are able to roam about the house and use the full fenced yard. Dogs are allowed on my bed and on the couches in the home, in addition to the many dog beds throughout. Owners can expect frequent photos and updates on their pup! “Amanda was great with my pup. I felt completely comfortable leaving him with her. After speaking with her for just a short time it was clear she has a lot of experience with dogs and knew what to do to keep any dogs in her care happy and safe. “Janette was incredibly accommodating with my last‑minute request. She was patient and understanding with my energetic Rain, even when Rain had two accidents in her home. “Belle had such an amazing time! Chonlada and her fam were absolutely amazing. We are from out of state and were a little nervous to leave Belle, but Chonlada made it such a great experience and took wonderful care of our pup. We will definitely be repeat customers when the need arises. We would recommend Shona to anyone.”

“Sandy loved to go to Kim's home every morning. He enjoyed the loving care of Kim and family and the company of sweet and friendly Nala. I am glad I found Kim on Rover. I had to drive long hours to NJ for work several days. Kim and family took care of very playful "toddler" Sandy with patience.”

She was also extremely flexible when my schedule changed at nearly the last minute and was able to accommodate with limited notice. Kat is also great at following all directions and instructions leaving peace of mind and comfortability. Will definitely use her again! 🐶”

About: My name is Katie and I am a caring pet sitter who has pet-sat dogs and cats of many breeds, ages, and sizes. 😊 I also had a pocket beagle named Harley who passed away a few years ago and have lived with a cat (through roommates) before. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets! All photos are of pets I have cared for in the past. Message me if you have any questions! :) I have flexibility in my schedule to care for your pets whenever needed! Have a trip or event planned? Feel free to reach out. Preferably local to the Montgomery county area. In client’s homes, I’m very respectful and loving towards pets. I follow instructions exactly how they’re given. I also used to have a dog of my own, and have lived with a cat before. I have extensive experience dog-sitting.
“Autumn was really great, I live in a condo and she gratiously met me earlier in the week to meet my two dogs and pick up the keys. My two can be little barkers but they definitely took to Autumn and did well even on Halloween night. They can be barkers when I walk with them but Autumn said that the tricker treaters didn't bother them at all, so Autumn must have worked some magic with them. I totally recommend Autumn and will be asking her again in the future. Thank you so much Autumn. Appreciate you so much for doing the walk on Halloween.”

About: As an elementary teacher, I exhibit patience, responsibility, and a nurturing personality, which goes hand in hand with pet care. I am experienced in creating safe and positive environments while giving every child AND pet attention, kindness, and dependable care. I also own Shiba Inus, a breed known for being independent and stubborn, so I am very comfortable handling strong personalities, building trust, and providing consistent, loving care. In the summers, I have more flexibility and availability as a teacher, which allows me to dedicate extra time and attention to pets throughout the week. For dog walking, I make sure each walk is safe, engaging, and tailored to the dog’s energy level and needs. I provide exercise, attention, breaks, and positive interaction during the walk. For drop-in visits, I care for pets in the comfort of their own home. I can support them by feeding them, refilling water, giving bathroom breaks, playtime, companionship, and lots of affection. I also make sure pets feel comfortable and cared for while maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible.
About: I am new to Rover :)) I have taken care of dogs since high school. I graduated college in 2023 with a degree in Health Sciences. I am currently working as an aide at a physical therapy clinic, and looking to make extra money. I love pet sitting and caring for animals is one of my strong suits. I am always willing to accommodate you and your dogs needs and I will always care for them like they are my own! For pet sitting at my home, I do not have a fenced in yard but I usually walk the dogs on leashes around my yard or take them to the park by my house to walk them. I can crate them anywhere in the home if needed. I also have plenty of dog toys/crates/ dog accessories from my own dog.
About: With 10+ years of professional dogsitting experience I have worked with many types of dogs and pride myself on my ability to adapt to each animal's individual needs. I have experience with small and large breeds, puppies, seniors, those who are anxiety prone, high energy, and even blind. I am comfortable and confident administering medication (orally, eye drops). I specialize in dog care but have also cared for cats and horses professionally. Growing up I rode horses, always had a dog in the house, as well as cats, hamsters, and fish. Always immersed in nature, I loved to walk around my yard and find box turtles creeping along in the grass. A surprise to fulfill my childlike wonder that still hasn't left me!! As an animal lover from the time I was a little girl, I always went straight for the animals wherever I went to make an instant new friend. I was born with an intuitive understanding of animals, as a child connecting naturally, easily and deeply with them. Animals have always been a necessary and important part of my life creating comfort and companionship for both of us. I also offer ENERGY HEALING sessions for all types of animals. Benefits of energy healing include anxiety relief, greater over all wellbeing, aids in recovery after trauma or surgery, etc. Healing is received either hands-on or remotely. Please contact me directly for more info. Can't wait to hear from you! My schedule is generally flexible. Currently available for both long-term and short-term care, vacation needs, or other customization arrangement. Short notice requests welcome and I will do my best to accomodate. During my visit or stay with your dog(s) I would be happy to take them on a hike or to a nearby park for some exercise and fun adventure!

“Morgan is amazing! You can tell just how much she loves and cares about animals! She was very prompt in response time and did a great job with my pup! She kept me updated the whole time and provided lots of pictures! If you are looking for a reliable sitter Morgan is definitely a great candidate🐾”
About: I started dogsitting while in highschool and still love and continue to do it to help friends and neighbors. I have the flexibility to come visit your dog when needed and have some experience with puppies. I am currently a stay at home mom. I, thankfully have tons of flexibility in my schedule. If your fur baby does not do well with children, please let me know/I may not be a good fit for you. I follow directions and lists so if you have special requests please write them down! I appreciate open and clear communication so please state any concerns or questions when contacting me.
About: I am a mom to a 7 and 9 year old. I also have an 18 year old stepdaughter. We have 2 dogs: Luke (doxie-poo) who is mostly blind and deaf and Sunny (Havapoo) who loves to play! We also have chickens and 2 barn cats (Aster and Harvest). I currently work 2 jobs at different schools. Monday, Wednesday, Friday I work 10:45-1:45. Tuesday and Thursday I work 8:30-12. I am off during the summer hanging out with my kids and attending to their love of sports, friends and being outside! Before becoming a mom I worked at PetSmart for 12 years. I started off working with the small animals, birds, reptiles and fish (so if you need someone to watch them, we could figure something out). Then I was a general manager for the PetsHotel. We ran camp everyday for 5-50 dogs. We also accommodated over 150 dogs for overnight stays. I love meeting new pet parents and of course snuggling up with new puppy friends. I have experience with not only watching and caring for dogs but I have also dealt with medical emergency situations and know what to do. If you have a bigger senior dog or a big dog that isn't too energetic that would be fine. I would love to meet you and your pet(s)! I am still at home for the majority of the day if not the whole day. There may be a few times I would need to bring my kids with me but they will not be in the way. I will make sure that all doors are closed before letting your dog out of the crate. When walking, I like to use a slip leash as well as your own leash.
“Alexandra has been wonderful with Remi. They have adjusted well to each other. Remi looks forward to her walk and it has helped her be more calmer. Would recommend Alexandra to anyone considering a Dog Walker, pet sitting. Etc….we will be using her for pet sitting for our next trip. 💕”

“Carole was amazing to work with! She responded promptly to messages and provided our dogs wonderful care as if they were her own. This was our first experience using Rover and we are so happy we found her. Mei Mei and Georgia loved their stay at Carole’s place and we will definitely be using her again in the future.”

About: Hi, we’re Eric and Cassie! We’re passionate animal lovers and proud pet parents to a loving, goofy Golden Retriever. We understand that pets are family, and we know how important it is to find someone you can trust with their care. We would love the opportunity to provide your furry friends with the attention, affection, and care they deserve while giving you peace of mind. Whether it's walks, playtime, cuddles, or sticking to your pet's routine, we’ll treat them as if they were our own. We look forward to meeting you and your pets! 🐾 Eric is currently only taking grad classes over the summer so his schedule is very flexible. We are both very active individuals so we love going for multiple walks daily and would love to fit your pet into our cadence. Eric am 6'4 and able to handle dogs big and small on a leash. As a Special Educator (and dog owner), I am familiar with positive reinforcement and use it when walking dogs. Cassie has grown up taking care of her neighbors animals while they were on vacation and loves to spend time playing with them, sitting with them and getting their energy out.
“Adrienne watched our fur baby Triple for the first time overnight. She was great! Triple enjoyed his stay. Thank you for taking such good care of him. I highly recommend and will definitely be using her again.”

“Alexa was amazing with our pup. She was super responsive and sent tons of pictures every day while we were gone. I highly recommend Alexa to anybody that needs a dog sitter that will treat your pups just as lovingly as you do.”

“I just moved to the area and needed a sitter while traveling on business. I have a senior dog with Cushings disease and cancer. It killed me to leave her for a few days. But Ceinwen did a great job caring for her, and it wasn’t long until I could tell she felt right at home.”

“Shona was super responsive, even though I booked with her last minute. She took great care of my dog, as I was able to enjoy my vacation without having to constantly worry about her and how she was doing. Highly recommend!”

“Thank for taking such good care of Bessie! All we have to do is turn down your street and her tail is wagging because she knows she’s gonna have a good time with her friends at Aunt Kim’s house!”

“Wonderful personality, caring and attentive. Awesome daily follow up and pictures put you at your ease. Prompt responses and responsible. Has young assistant always eager to lend a hand. Will use her services again. Thank you so much.”

“Sarah was super sweet, and my little girlie had a blast playing with the other very nice dogs during the day. Sarah even stayed in the room with her when she had anxiety at night which is just so kind. I know that Matilda enjoyed the large outdoor areas to run and explore! Thank you, Sarah!”

“This was my first time leaving my dog, Jenga, with anyone other than family. I was very nervous, but Katie did everything to make me feel comfortable leaving my baby girl with her! We did a meet and greet before I left to make sure our dogs got along and sent me multiple pictures throughout me trip and updates on what they did that day! They played, did brain puzzles, ran around in the fenced in yard, and snuggled a lot!! Katie also is familiar with dogs who need medication and was able to give Jenga her medicine each morning! I have nothing but great things to say about her and my experience!!”

“Wendy took incredible care of my boy while I was gone for the weekend. She was very accommodating & kind. Her yard & house is perfect for a pup & her yard has lots of smells to sniff! Perfect for a doggy who needs some outdoor time. I highly recommend her.”
