For the past 12 years, I've lived with and visited my best bud Zeke at my parent's house. I would love to have a dog of my own in the future, however for now I am hoping and so happy to take care of other's loved ones during the week and on weekends! I'm an active individual and enjoy taking dogs on walks, for car rides and the occasional ice cream or pup cup. “Houston is a very particular, somewhat fearful and needy little angel whom Alessandra was able to provide just the right environment for. After each visit, he came home happy, healthy and tired! When I dropped him off at the bigger daycare centers in the area, he would be shaking before we even walked in the door. He cried when I left him and he was so stressed and overwhelmed when I picked him up, he would take long trauma naps through dinner and breakfast the next day. In Alessandra's home, he is able to roam and lay wherever, whenever; he gets plenty of walks and enjoys her backyard. More importantly (for him), he has a limited number of playmates, so he can avoid the burnout and feeling of being overwhelmed and there is plenty of space to take a break as needed. This intimate environment seems to do much better for him and we are very appreciative of the love Alessandra shows Houston. We get lots of photos and updates every day. I find Alessandra to be very flexible, communicative and easy to talk to. We won't be looking elsewhere unless she is fully booked!”

About: I have dogsitted for plenty of years, mainly older dogs but I have worked with puppies before. I grew up with dogs in my house and still currently have one back at my home in Philly. I always help with taking care of him. I am currently in college and I am looking to make some money and do something I love at the same time. I have a pretty open schedule this semester. About: I have always had a dog in my house, even now. I know it's hard to leave your dogs when heading away. I hope that I can help! I can give medication, take your dog for walks during the evening and weekends and can provide extra love when you are not around. I have had experience with dogs who are not dog friendly with others, so I am able to handle dogs that might not get along, but that doesn't mean the can't have fun throwing the ball or go for walks (I've learned where to find the walks where other dogs won't be). Any other questions, please feel free to reach out! I’m available on weekends for walks or boarding. During the week, I am available after 4pm for walks and feedings until you get home from work. “Melanie was amazing!! I really appreciated that she asked lots of questions about my two boys because it gives me peace of mind that their doggy sitter will take the best care of them. Which was actually what happened! She sent lots of photos of updates during the stay. Her dog Pippa was also so sweet and got along great with Mr and Captain. We had a change of plans at the end and Melanie was so helpful in accommodating us. Would definitely recommend her to everyone!”
