“Alex and her family were very welcoming. I like that they did a meet and greet just to ensure that my dog would be a good fit for them to take care of. My dog was very excited to be with them and they took great care of him. I received updates and pictures during his stay. I am grateful to them to be able to enjoy my vacation and know that my precious Goose was in great hands. I am appreciative and grateful for such wonderful service.”

“Carismeldi watched my pup Prada from Friday to Sunday and she was great. She kept me in the loop with pics and updates throughout the day, which I really appreciated. Prada looked happy, comfortable, and totally at ease the whole time. She was easy to communicate with, super sweet, and you can tell she genuinely cares. I’d definitely book with her again and recommend her to anyone needing a solid sitter.”

“Zenith cared for my dog from February 19–22, and I am so grateful for her. From the start, her communication was thoughtful and consistent. She sent sweet updates, photos, and videos that truly put my heart at ease. It was clear she treated him with genuine love and care, just like I would. I never once worried while I was away. I would happily book with her again and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for someone special to care for their pup.”

“Juliana is one word..AMAZING!!! I have used rover many of times and have never felt like I found my person until I met Juliana. She says has not been doing this rover thing for long but it sure seems like it. I felt comfortable leaving my dog with her overnight. He came back to me the same way i left him. She responds quickly and also sent me plenty of pictures. I am for sure booking with her in the very near future. Thank you Juliana for keeping Melo safe.”

“Tamikia is so kind and dependable. And my dog seriously did not want to leave when I came to pick her up. I got photos and videos every day, and Tamikia was available before my trip to do a meet and greet at her house. My dog has dietary issues and sometimes comes home with an upset stomach when she is boarded with someone who has dogs and/or cats because of getting into someone else's food but that was not the case this time. I am going to book with Tamikia for my next trip!”

“Rachel was fantastic! Bean, who can be a little nervous at first, warmed up to her immediately. Rachel was very communicative and send lots of photos - it looked like they had a great weekend! Will definitely use her again!”

“This was the first time we used Rover to board our boy Frankie, so I didn’t know what exactly to expect. Michell was very responsive via text, provided ample status photos of our dogs stay. This put me at ease and made me feel comfortable leaving Frankie with him. It was also a trial run to see how Frankie would do overnight at someone else’s house. He did great, Michell and Tiago took great care and we will be using them again for future longer stays! I highly recommend!”

“Absolutely amazing! This the first time I left my dog since rescuing him and his anxiety gave me anxiety 😅. Kristina was great she answered all my questions, she was so kind when I asked stupid ones. She kept my dog safe and happy. She also works with reactive dogs great! Would recommend! Can't say it enough she is amazing!”

“Rhea was great with my pup! She provided regular walks and updates. My fauna is a very picky eater and Rhea was very patient and understanding with her, all around excellent care!”

“Donte was great with my pup! I was a little nervous to take him to a new sitter for the first time, but the second I met Donte and saw him interacting with my dog all those nerves went away. He, miraculously even got my dog who has a fear of crates to sleep in one! I was blown away. Would definitely recommend.”

“Bryce was great with Alfie! It took Alfie some time to settle in which made me a bit nervous but Bryce ensured me that he had things under control and Alfie would be okay. He was even patient with me because I was worried! Bryce was also very accommodating when I had the dates incorrect due to the time zone. He quickly responded and modified the date. He was great! Thank you Bryce!”

“Amy was fantastic - we instantly felt comfortable with her husband and her (and, more importantly, so did the dog!). She was very detail oriented, sent pictures throughout Champ's short stay and made sure Champ got plenty of exercise. I also appreciated her policy not to take multiple dogs at once. We will definitely be repeating with Amy - the whole experience was great!”

“Khai is a true cat whisperer, I'm glad I found her! I boarded my pet kitten Yuzu with Khai over Thanksgiving and was completely satisfied with the experience. Khai has a fully-equipped apartment to accommodate cats and Yuzu was visibly very comfortable, engaged and content during her stay. I especially appreciated the daily photo and video updates, which made our time apart much more bearable. Khai is completely professional and will love your kitty like her own. I even received a parting gift when she delivered Yuzu back to me, which I felt was very thoughtful and kind. How do such nice people still exist? 100% would entrust with my cat again and I believe you will too. Thanks Khai!”

“Patty was extremely thoughtful and sweet to my senior dog for a week stay. I didn't have to worry at all, and he came back nice and tired and happy. He even made a doggie friend during his stay! Plus, she sent me some really great photos of him.”

“Tony is my standard pet sitter for Nova! He sends pictures and videos throughout her stay and she loves to play with the small pups he owns. She will be back! Thanks Tony!”

“This was Scallywag's second stay with Eric, and the pup was so excited to see them again! He dragged us right into their apartment. Drop off was convenient, communication was great, and I can tell that Scallywag had a wonderful time while I was gone.”

“The BEST boarding in the Philly suburbs area. Yuiko kept us updated and was very flexible when my flight was cancelled and delayed. Sam loves staying with Yuiko. Thank you Yuiko, we will be back next time!”

“Madeline is a very nice person who takes good care of dogs in her Girard Estate home. She usually boards more than one dog at a time, and We like the setting because our 11 lb Cavapoo gets some socialization with other nice dogs. She is otherwise very timid. You will enjoy chatting with her, and she will text photos while she is caring for your dog. We will be happy to use Madeline again.”

“Dana is absolutely great! She took great care of our dog, Beau and was very accommodating with any request we made. We even had an opportunity to stay on our vacation an additional night and being very flexible, she helped us out to keep our dog another night. She was very considerate and thoughtful. We will absolutely request her again.”

“Liam was great with keeping me in the loop and sending pics! He was flexible with drop off and pick up. I’m glad Raff had some furry friends to play with as well :)”

“Jessica exceeded every expectation! I was out of the country for 10 days. Jessica house sat and took care of my two 11-year-old cats. My boy needs meds every morning and evening. She made great effort to make sure he got the meds, especially the first couple of days when he was getting used to her. She actually brought gates from her home and moved furniture so that she could give my boy his meds. She texted me every day with updates and pictures. I recommend her without hesitation. She's great!”

“Linda was a fantastic sitter for our two kitties. She came daily and made sure their food and litter were addressed and went above and beyond on making sure any mess they created was cleaned. Linda was very communicative and thorough in her descriptions of her visit. She even left treats for the kitties! We highly recommend her for cat sitter visits!”

I've been a dedicated cat parent for 25+years, having shared my home with multiple feline companions of various breeds and personalities – from playful kittens to calm seniors. “Evelyn was a great and reliable pet sitter, she took great care of my cats needs while I was away and kept in communication with me so I could have peace of mind. She was quick to reply on short notice and I would definitely have her take care of Greyson again!”

“This was our first time working with Raquel, and it went very well. She stopped by to spend an hour with our two dogs, Tate and Penny, well also feeding them and giving them lots of love. Raquel was very good communicator, was on time, and provided photographs of her time with our dogs. We are really excited that we found Raquel and look forward to having her spend more time with our dogs, Tate and Penny in the future. If anyone’s looking for a five star Pet Sitter on Rover Raquel‘s your gal!”

About: While I love all animals, I have a special soft spot (and a lot of patience) for our feline friends. I understand that cats aren’t just "low-maintenance" pets—they are individuals with specific routines, social boundaries, and unique personalities. Whether your cat is a social butterfly who needs 30 minutes of laser-pointer cardio or a "hide-under-the-bed" introvert who just needs a quiet presence and a fresh bowl of water, I adapt my care to their comfort level. Specialized Cat Care Skills: Senior & Special Needs: Experienced in providing the gentle, consistent care required for aging cats, including managing specific dietary needs or health monitoring. Shy or Anxious Cats: I specialize in building trust with fearful or reactive cats. I understand body language and know when to offer affection and when to give them their space. Multi-Cat Households: I’m comfortable managing the different social dynamics and feeding schedules of homes with multiple cats. Precision Care: If your cat has a strict "no-touch" zone or a very specific way they like their wet food served, I follow instructions to the letter to keep their routine undisturbed. I pride myself on being the reliable, calm presence your cat needs while you’re away. You can expect regular updates and, if your cat is willing, plenty of high-quality photos!

“Breanna has been nothing but great with our little girl, McKinley, a calico cat. Sends detailed information for each visit with pics & sometimes a video. She’s moving from our area so I’ll have to find someone else as caring as her. Highly recommend”

“Michell took great care of my cat while I was gone and communicated about everything and kept it touch and made sure we were all happy would definitely use him again!”

“Donte was great with Blue. He really helped us out with a last-minute weekend daycare booking, and Blue was very excited to go back. We received photos and videos during his visits and we will definitely look to Donte for future daycare visits.”

About: A lover of animals of all sorts, I've rescued and cared for cats of my own for over 40 years. My family had dogs including a Beagle and a Lhasa Poo while I was growing up, and I'm the one who always says, "Can I say hi?!" when I see someone out walking their dog. I volunteered at Main Line Animal Rescue, Providence Animal Rescue, and pet store based cat rescues and have received dog handling and walking training. I am equipped and eager to provide your pets with quality time and care. I have groomed cats, walked the big dogs, and cleaned bunny litter. Clients, friends, and co-workers have been happy with my services and I enjoy connecting my work with one of my passions. If you scroll my photos, I admit I haven't cared for alpacas. But I'd love to learn how! I'd be happy to make your getaways, vacations, or travel for work less stressful for you by caring for your pets and home. I'm happy to give updates throughout visits, including photos or videos, and will send regular reports on food and treats, litter or potty time, and general behavior. My schedule is flexible. Just let me know your needs and I'll do my best to make it work. Book ahead for your summer and fall travel plans! Taking care of your pets in your home is a responsibility and a privilege, allowing your pets to have their safe spaces and comforts while you're away. If house-sitting or dropping in for care or walks, I'll follow your suggestions and directions to deliver the best possible care. I am mature, responsible, and experienced, so you can feel confident in my reliability.
“Michell was great! He paid attention to concerns I had about my dog’s needs and made me feel confident leaving him. Their house has a great set up for dogs to have what they need on their day away from home. I recommend and will return with our pup. Thanks Michell.”

“Rachel was fantastic! My daughter and I were touring colleges in the area and needed a place for our dog during the tours. Jiminy was spoiled with cuddles and he definitely had a great time!”

“I found Christopher when I was new to rover and didn’t bother to look any further! He has been super accommodating, takes amazing care of my puppy, and has been a pleasure to work with through rover. Highly, highly, highly recommend!”

“Robbie and Shelby were great to work with! I know that Frankie had a fun time with their pups. I received lots of pics throughout the day, which gave me peace of mind. I plan to use them again for day care and boarding.”

“Linda took excellent care of Finn! She places a high emphasis on safety and making sure dogs get along, which made us feel very comfortable leaving Finn in her care. She communicated often and sent pictures and videos. Her dog Pearl is also very sweet and lovely. We would be happy to leave our dog in her care again!”

“Both my dogs had such a great time with Olga!! They both came home and went straight to sleep. She quickly responded to my request (even late at night) and sent me updates through the day so I knew my pups were safe. I highly recommend her for dog daycare/ sitting. Thanks again!”

About: I’ve been a pet owner/parent since I was a child. I’ve owned Pugs, Frenchies, Rotties, Great Danes and even mixed breeds from puppies to seniors. This has given me the knowledge to understand that all pups are different and may need different attention depending on their stage of life, but rest assured all pups will receive safe, reliable and loving care. At this time caring for your pet is my only job so I’ll have plenty of time to play with and care for your pups! I’m available for boarding with a drop off window between 9:30am and 7:30pm weekdays, with the exception of 5:30-6pm which is typically when I like to feed the pups unless instructed otherwise. I like to allow about an hour and a half of rest after eating for proper digestion before any playtime. Checkout should be no later than 10:00am, or you will be charged the daycare fee for that day and your pet must be picked up by 6pm.. On weekends drop off times are after 2pm but there may be an opportunity for some flexibility that can be discussed if an earlier time is needed. Daycare hours will run 8:30am to 6pm Monday to Friday. “PLEASE NOTE” that all pets must be up to date with shots and flea and tick meds for daycare and boarding. Proof will be required. Your pets safety is very important to me which is why I require dog friendly pets only and no puppies under 5 months. If you are unsure of how your pet will handle boarding I suggest trying a couple days of daycare to get them adjusted. At no time will your pet ever be left alone in the yard or unattended in my home. If something comes up and I need to run an errand, your pet will be crated/pen for safety. I have central air to keep the pets cool and if your pup feels a bit overwhelmed at first while boarding by my resident dogs, I can offer separation if needed.
“I had a wonderful experience with Saya and David while they cared for my miniature dachshund, Astro, for 3 days of daycare. Even before meeting him, they took the time to ask thoughtful questions to make sure they understood his routine, personality, and needs. Throughout his stay, they were incredibly communicative, sending photos and videos that gave me peace of mind and showed just how much fun he was having. It was clear that Astro received plenty of attention, affection, and excellent care (by the second morning, he ran right into their house because he was so excited to see them again)! They were also very flexible and accommodating with drop-off and pick-up times, which made everything convenient around my work schedule. I truly felt that Astro was treated like part of their family. I highly recommend Saya and David to anyone looking for caring and reliable dog sitters, and I will absolutely be booking with them again!”

About: I have been a dog owner most of my life and have watched neighbors and my family dogs! Dogs aren’t just pets; they are family!!I may be new to Rover but not new to caring for dogs! 🐾🐾❤️💙 Please note: I do require up to date shot records and rabies certificates. You can always send copy to Rover number or to the inbox here on Rover! I am teacher with the School District of Philadelphia, so my availability are weekends However, I can do more days and nights on my Winter Break, Spring Break any holidays when schools are closed and the months of June thru August. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible, because consistency helps them feel safe and comfortable. Before care begins, I take time to learn each pet’s feeding schedule, walking routine, play preferences, and any special needs.
“It was a smooth experience leaving my dog with Cartier and she was really nice and easy to work will, wil definably leave my pet with her in future whenever possible and recommend her services to others as well”

“I was really nervous about leaving my 6 pound chihuahua with a new person while I went to work during the day. With 3 of 4 legs not working, and a weak bladder, Pinky is quite fragile. Her stay with Madeline was wonderful. She coaxed her to eat, separated her from all dogs except her little terrier, and was forgiving of Pinky’s incontinence. While I hope tomorrow at Pinky’s neurologist visit we can get some answers and Pinky will be strong enough to be left alone after the holidays, if we need daycare again we will definitely be back.”
About: I’ve been caring for my own pets (cats and dogs) and those of community members for the past 15 years. I can bond with almost anyone (especially the anxious ones). I enjoy hiking, strolls around the neighborhood, sunbathing in parks, or a cuddle session with my (or the pet’s) favorite Hulu show. Currently my pack is my two cats, 3 year olds Basil and Sage, who I have had since they were 4 months. I’ve cared for puppies too, and just about everywhere in between. I love playing frisbee in clark park and can adapt to your unique training style. I’m working from home so I am flexible with time. My goal is to expand my experience in the hopes I can work with dogs more professionally in the future. Thank you for considering me, and I look forward to meeting you! I’m working full time from home, M-F. I’m the best fit for weekend care, and with advance notice, I can be available on weeknights. My availability is very limited for overnight bookings, so I ask at least one week notice. I have a fully fenced in yard, and 2 very friendly cats. I have several rooms available to separate my babies from yours if needed.

About: Of course I love animals, but what matters more to me is noticing who your pet actually is. Are they the kind of dog who needs to sniff the same corner for five minutes before moving on? Are they a little shy at first and pretending not to care? Do they get excited easily and need someone calm around them? Are they a cat who wants company, but absolutely not too much company? I really enjoy figuring out those little things. I’m gentle, patient, and very respectful of each pet’s routine. I don’t believe in rushing them or treating every animal the same. Some pets need play and attention, some need slow walks and quiet reassurance, and some just need someone kind nearby so the house does not feel empty. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a way that still feels familiar to them. I’m also very careful with instructions. Feeding routines, medications, walk preferences, favorite toys, things that scare them, how they like to be greeted, whether they are allowed on the couch. I want to know all of it. I know these details are not “extra.” They are usually the things that make a pet feel secure. I’ll also send updates and photos, not just to say everything is fine, but so you can actually feel connected to them while you are away. My childhood friend and roommate, Matin, may also help me sometimes, and you may see her in some of my photos. She has had pets since childhood and fostered animals for several years, so she is very used to different personalities, nervous pets, affectionate pets, and animals who need a little extra patience. She is calm, loving, and very responsible, and I trust her completely with animals. Between the two of us, your pet will be cared for by people who genuinely like being around animals, but who also understand that trust matters. I’ll treat your pet with warmth, patience, and care, and I’ll treat your home and instructions with respect. This year, much of my work is remote, which gives me real flexibility in my schedule. That means I’m able to spend unrushed, attentive time with pets, not just quick check-ins, but actual companionship, care, and presence. I can shape my day around walks, visits, feeding times, play, and quiet company, depending on what each pet needs. My childhood friend and roommate, Matin, who is included in the pictures, also helps me out with my Rover schedules. My home is my cat Lilo’s safe little kingdom, so I can’t host other pets here. But I’m very happy to come to your home, meet outside for walks, or figure out a setup that feels easy and comfortable for you and your pet.
“Barbara was so kind as to walk our pup, Pepper, same day. She was friendly, approachable, and flexible with timing. Pepper seemed to really like her and had a nice, long walk. I recommend Barbara and will be planning a weekly walk with her :)”

“This was our first time using Rover and I think I picked a great dog lover. Tamikia was very responsive even with a last minute request. She also sent videos which helped ease my anxiety since we’ve never had anyone outside of family care for Lolo. I cannot wait to book again!”

I have experience with puppies, adult and senior dogs. (Seniors are my fav!) Giving meds is a skill I've gotten good at along the way. I take the responsibility of being entrusted with the care of your family member very seriously and will always follow written instructions when provided. I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have! I have a hybrid remote work schedule (2 days remote, 3 in the office, weekends off). I'm in the office (near Broad and Spring Garden). For boarding, my hybrid schedule helps me be available for being at home for extended weekend stays. Depending on the need and location, I can do house-sitting and check-ins in many locations within the city and Delaware County. (If you found me from the Rover car magnet, still send your request over even though you will be prompted that you are outside of my house-sitting radius. Based on other things I have scheduled, I'm willing to travel to many locations!) I live in a twin home in Delaware County with minimal steps to the first floor from outside. My medium size backyard is not fenced in but I love walking in my neighborhood. Other dogs in my life have required long bouts of exercise daily so I'm used to even the higher amounts of activity to keep your dog tired and happy! I do have two long term foster cats that live in my home. For everyone's safety, I will keep them in a separate part of the house during dog boarding unless the dog has extensive experience living with cats.
“Destinee did a great job of walking my dog, Remi! He can be very anxious but he seems very chill with her and she kindly listens to him when he stubbornly does not want to walk for too long, which I very much appreciate!”

“Mike was great! I reached out to him with less than 48 hours notice, he agreed to come over for a meet and greet and provided exceptional service to AJ. He’ll be my go-to for al future dog sitting needs.”

“Olivia has been absolutely amazing with my two dogs. I've got a giant breed pup who isn't the easiest to handle (or the smartest), but Olivia has been great with him. She's also been incredibly professional, prompt, and handled the curveballs pets love to throw (like handling when one dog got an upset stomach and had an accident).”

“Liam was great with keeping me in the loop and sending pics! He was flexible with drop off and pick up. I’m glad Raff had some furry friends to play with as well :)”

“I have officially found the best dog watcher ever. I can’t even say how comforted I felt having Christopher watch our dog. We have had issues with dog watchers before who say they are knowledgeable about dogs when they actually aren’t. Our dog has lots of energy and is also an extensive cuddles, so needs a lot of attention to say the least. Christopher is the first dog watcher we have had that actually understood that. He took our dog for multiple, miles long walks each day, and we were treated to wonderful pictures of our dog having cuddle sessions with Christopher. Our dog was sad, yes sad, when he came home with us because he missed Christopher, which to me is wonderful. It’s a sign that our dog actually got the love and attention we hoped he would have while we were away. We got multiple pictures a day of Marshall and constant updates about how he was. I one hundred percent will be using Christopher again, as he truly is knowledgeable about dogs needs and gives the dogs the love and attention they deserve!”

“Christin watched our pup for the second time in a row and we knew neyland was so loved the whole time we were away! She was very responsive and accommodating to schedule adjustments even picking up our dog because she was going to be in the neighborhood! We got lots of pictures throughout out time away to see how our pup was!”

“My go-to sitter. My pup always has a great time hanging out with Sirius and Billie. Trey keeps me up-to-date and sends me pics and videos to show all the fun she’s having and put my mind at ease. Would absolutely recommend as a caring place to send their pup.”
“Sidney took great care of my dogs! They are communicative and gave me a full run down of their stay. I definitely recommend using Sidney to care for your pets, and I will be using them again in the future.”

“My senior dog had a blast with Angela! It was a snowy and rainy week but she was able to take the dog out to get the job done. Sent photos, great communication. Flexible and good location in South Philly. Highly recommend!”

“Took great care of my diabetic pup! Brooklyn had a great time w/ Hunter & all of her new puppy friends:) would highly recommend.. thank you, Hunter!”

“Loved her! She kept me up to date daily with a photo, video, or comments regarding my dog, Sadie. She was attentive to any concerns I had in the beginning as my dog has food allergies, and she assured me she would follow my instructions regarding her care completely. I will be using her again!”

“Jasmine took great care of my dog, he played very well with her dog Sprinkles and got plenty of exercise! Would definitely have her take care of my pup again!”

“Jessica is the best! Our dog Mochi has stayed with her several times now and enjoys each visit so much. She is professional, easy to communicate with, and super reliable. Highly recommend!”

“Olivia was great at watching my dog Milo over an extended period of time. It was easy to setup a meet and greet where we did a walk with Milo. She made sure to keep me updated daily with photos and videos, and texts. She took really good care of Milo. I would absolutely recommend Olivia and to use her again in the future.”
