I currently share my home with Kisses, my calico, and Teddy, my German Shorthaired Pointer — one of the highest-energy breeds out there — so if your dog goes a mile a minute, I'm more than ready for it!! Over the years I've dog sat for all sizes and breeds — from tiny lap dogs to large, boisterous pups — and I treat every single one like they're my own. Your pet will be loved, played with, and completely spoiled. My home has a fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to run, zoom, and explore that's perfect for dogs who need to burn off some energy. I'm also comfortable administering medication, so pets with special health needs are absolutely welcome. Your baby will get the same attentive care at my place that they get at home. She went above and beyond to make sure Penny was happy, comfortable, and well cared for while we were away. Not only did she provide plenty of walks and exercise, but she also incorporated fun enrichment activities that kept Penny's mind stimulated and tail wagging. We loved getting regular updates and photos (even videos!) of all their adventures together. It gave us such peace of mind knowing Penny was in such loving hands, especially since this was the first time Penny stayed with Valerie. They shared their dog wisdom, kindness and home, providing a warm welcome for our sweet, (and shall we say, spirited?), 60 pound two-year-old puppy. Their own two dogs are the nicest dogs you'll ever meet, and the big fenced backyard provided ample space for everyone to play. Will we be back? You can bet your bottom dollar!”
