About: I grew up with a reactive black lab, so I know how to handle leash pulling and how to deescalate and prevent fights. In her old age, I learned to accommodate her failing joints. I’ve been trained at the Licking County Humane Society in Ohio as a volunteer dog walker, which has well equipped me to understand and respond respectfully to dog language. I further pursue this knowledge by reading about how dogs communicate with us, and by observing and analyzing their behavior both in real life and online. This will be my primary commitment, so I can easily cater to your schedule to fit your pets needs. Mornings, evenings, weekends, whatever you need, except Thursdays :) I will take great care to follow your instructions and respect the rules of your home and needs of your animal(s). I’m a junior in college who absolutely adores dogs and also happens to want to make money for tuition😂 For the summer : *for house sitting, Im available every day but on weekdays I would need to leave from 4:30-7 to go to work. Mon-Thurs: any time up until 3:30pm or after 7pm Fri, Sat, Sun : free all day I am super flexible! During the summer I have a very open schedule - so we can work around it more. Once I start school again I’ll update my availability! I will treat your animals with the care, love, and respect they deserve. Everything I do, I put 110% into, and I’ll make sure your pups feel loved! I always make sure to check if there’s ever notes from the client, get the important things done (like meds, food, necessary walks/bathroom) and then be able to focus on playtime or whatever your pup wants!

I know how difficult it can be to be away from your pet and want to help create as much comfort for them as possible while you’re away. With repeat visits, I use the same soft greeting so they begin to recognize and feel safe with me. I never force interaction and always allow pets to approach on their own terms, building trust at their pace.
