About: Lucky me to have grown up with my ever-attentive dog, Shirley, an Australian Shepherd mix from the time I was born until I was 14. Then, Cindy - part Chow - came into our family. She was fiery and at grew to become very territorial and protective of our family. I learned how to work with a pup who was loving and sweet to us but dangerous to others. As a young adult, I adopted my perfect grey and white feline with a perfectly pink nose, Merzbow. She was my best friend for 15 years and moved with me from PA to NYC to LA. When I lost her, I was devastated. She was the joy of my life. I am a free-lance artist and performer, so I have lots of flexibility on a weekly basis! I go out of town for work from time to time, but I am usually in Pittsburgh and able to visit pets during all hours. I live in a 3 story home with access to a back patio on the first floor. Pets can either stay on the first floor, where I am usually working in my music studio and have a bed where I can sleep near them, or they can enjoy the rest of the house if they're able to climb stairs or are easily carried! I live in the city and near a park and can take dogs for walks whenever they need one.

About: Hello there, I am a certified Veterinary technician, I have been in wildlife and small animal care for the past 14 years while dog sitting on the side. I am new to the Pittsburgh area and looking to find new clients! My previous experience includes zookeeping and wildlife rehabilitation in the Boston area for 7 years and then working for a professional dog sitting/hiking company in Medford MA for another 5 years. About: I've always enjoyed being around animals, and over the years I've had the chance to care for both dogs and cats for family. I've watched my girlfriend's family's three senior cats (now 15, 14, and 21 years old) several times while they've been out of town, making sure they're fed, have fresh water, and keeping their litter boxes clean. Caring for a 21-year-old cat has taught me how important patience and consistency are with senior pets. I've also cared for my brothers' dogs—a 5-year-old Siberian Husky and a 7-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix—sometimes for several days at a time. “Raeann was great with my dog! My dog is very anxious so I was hesitant about leaving him. We set up a meet and great prior to my trip and all my hesitations were gone. She kept me updated constantly and sent pics during the course of my trip to keep me updated. She took him for walks, played with him and made a comfortable environment for him. I will definitely use raeann again.”

“For years I’ve struggled with not having a support system in place to feel at ease when going on vacation with my dog. I may not have a close family to do so but I do have Kasey and Alyssa. These two watched my bulldog Frank and did an amazing job. Cared about all my concerns and over protective dog dad issues.
