About: I have been an animal lover all my life and have been around all types of animals. But dogs are my sweet spot. I have owned my own dog for the past 3 years, but have had numerous family dogs while growing up. I learned how to train my own dog by getting training lessons for her. I love caring my friend’s dogs and am often the one they ask to watch their pets when they leave town. I will give your pet all the scratches and belly rubs they desire as well take them on walks in my neighborhood as often as needed. As of now, I’m only able to do house sitting on the weekends, but I’m glad to do drop in visits and walking throughout the week. I currently work in a hybrid job setting where I am home 2 days a week and in the office 3 days a week. But I am able to take breaks to take pups out for walks every 4-6 hours. I when walking other people’s dogs I am make sure they are leashes securely and comfortably. I only walk in neighborhoods that are walkable or if needed can transport in my car to a a more walkable neighborhood. I want all the dogs I care for to feel safe when out on their walks.

About: I grew up with both cats and dogs in a single parent household, so I did a lot of the work to take care of them and train them. Most recently, I helped raise a golden retriever, who is now one hundred and ten pounds of pure love. I find myself gravitating towards animals more than people at times and no matter where I am, if there is an animal around, we always seem to find our way to one another. I do currently work full-time. However, I am remote some days and off on weekends, so my schedule does allow for flexibility at this time. I would follow the guidance and rules set in place by the homeowner. One example could be ensuring a dog is leashed at all times while on a walk. Another could be sticking to feeding the animals. Only the food provided by the owner and understanding any dietary restrictions or allergies the animal may have.
About: I have always had an animalin my life since I was a young kid. I have a 15 year-old weiner dog, a 2 1/2 year-old, and a 11 month old mixed breed. I also have three cats in our household, all of whom live together peacefully. Prior to this, l had a yellow lab named Charlie that we loved dearly. I am familiar with breeds that need a lot of exercise and attention and also breeds that just want someone close and to relax. I am a teacher, so my schedule is incredibly flexible during the summer. I have the flexibility to be available starting at anytime & can either drop a dog off, have a dog picked up starting at 7pm. I would treat a clients dog like they are my own. Making sure the dog is feed, played with & given attention. My own dog goes on 2-3 walks per day, fed twice a day & given treats, the same treatment would be provided to a clients dog, and I can always adjust to what the client would like me to do!

“I’ve used rover a lot over the years and this was the best experience I’ve had here with Mary. From the first meeting I felt comfortable knowing my dog was in good hands. Anyone who knows dogs knows a tired dog is a good dog and as soon as Mary told me that her first order of business each day was to take her on a long walk I knew my dog would have a good stay. She sent pics and kept her engaged. Next time I need to board my dog I’ll be boarding with Mary 100%”
“Victoria was wonderful with Smokey! I received daily updates showing that he was out with the other dogs, in the mix. Smokey is home, happy, and resting. (Mom is doing the same.) I recommend Victoria (and niece Dasha) completely! Much love for dogs is obvious. 🐕”

He’s high energy and gets a bit anxious in new spaces out of our routines but she was very patient and attentive with him, keeping him busy with playtime, backyard fun and walks. “For years I’ve struggled with not having a support system in place to feel at ease when going on vacation with my dog. I may not have a close family to do so but I do have Kasey and Alyssa. These two watched my bulldog Frank and did an amazing job. Cared about all my concerns and over protective dog dad issues. I went to pick Frank up after almost a week away and he loved it so much it was like they were his new family. I have some work to do now to win my dog back over lolol. “Mungo has stayed with Christy several times and loves her and her dogs, so I wasn’t too concerned about leaving him for ten days while I was off the grid in Costa Rica. Every morning I was able to hop on the wi-fi for a few minutes and I always had an update from Christy and a picture of Mungo playing or sleeping. The updates assured me that he was on vacation too and having a good time. Christy always takes such good care of him and Mungo is always excited when we get to her house, which is his way of giving a five star review.”
