About: I grew up taking care of my Newfoundland whom also had puppies, so I love big dogs in addition to tiny wittles. I’ve had 4 havenese (one passed at age 17 a few years ago, 2 are technically my mothers, and one is mine) I will be leaving my havanese at my mothers to be with her and her sisters whenever I am scheduled to watch your fur child. I will be using Rover while I switch career paths. Your dog will have my undivided attention whenever they want. They will never be ignored. If they want to be outside, we will be outside. If they want to sleep, they can nap on my lap while I take notes about my career choices. I am in a life transition, so I will most likely be here on Rover until 2027. I prefer to travel to your home for care. I know dogs are more comfortable in their own environment and since I have 3 havanese, I want to make sure your baby has my full attention. I do not care about surveillance if you have cameras I’d be happy to hang only around them to make you more comfortable. Honestly there’s nobody more trustworthy than me bc I’m autistic (diagnosed level 1) so if anything I’ll be giving you too many updates. I’d be happy to FaceTime every day too, so you can stay comfortable while you’re away.
About: I have experience watching over my friends pets and homes; I have previously worked for a doggy daycare; and I have experience giving medication to my friend's cat, who has asthma and a thyroid condition. I am currently a freelance artist, so I have a pretty open schedule. However, I do have to help take care of my grandmother, requiring me to stay home twice a week (Thursdays and Sundays). Other than that, I am very free! Whatever routine your pet is accustomed to, I will do my best to follow their typical schedule and take the time for them to get comfortable with my presence. I know it can be a confusing and stressful experience, whenever a stranger just enters their home. Especially when their owners are not home. If possible, it's always less stressful for the animal, if I meet them with their owners present first. However, if that cannot be arranged, I will take as much time as needed for them to get accustomed to my presence in their home.

“Heather is an excellent pet sitter! Our little senior dog, Miki, stayed with her for a week while we were on vacation. Heather responded to all messages very promptly and is a great communicator. She followed all instructions to the letter and kept us updated on how our little boy was doing. At one point, Miki seemed to be feeling under the weather. Heather calmly shared her concerns and we were able to talk through a solution together. When we picked Miki up, he was happy and comfortable in Heather’s home. She was incredibly welcoming and kind to my standard poodle Sasha, who can be standoffish with new people at times, but seemed to have fully made herself at home, looking very comfortable and content in practically every photo I saw. Sasha definitely has some quirks and fears, but Rebecca was very patient and generous with her space and time to make Sasha feel safe. Would definitely book again!”
About: I grew up in a family that always had a dog, several cats and even maybe a rabbit or a guinea pig sometimes running around our house. Animals have always been in my life and remain one of my greatest passions. I currently help take care of my sisters 2 year old mixed pup and live with and help care for two 4 year old cats. I have experience with puppies, one week old kittens and aging pets as well. I understand that every animal is unique and deserves special and individualized care. I assure you that I have the patience and experience to give your pet what they need - including lots of love and scratches! I work from home full time. While I prefer to schedule care ahead of time, it is never a problem for me to provide pet care at the drop of a hat if needed! I am also happy to work from home in the pet’s/client’s home. I am happy to provide any services needed which include walking, feeding, training and general love giving! Whatever your pet needs, I am here for you.
