“Five stars is not enough for Benjamin! He, and his beautiful family (of humans and dogs) went over and above to take care of our golden retriever, Soda. When we went for our meet and greet we didn’t want to leave. Their fenced in yard and the welcoming kind vibe made Soda and me (her human) feel instantly comfortable and at ease. Benjamin sent photos and videos of her girl having the time of her life while we were away almost 2 weeks. And he managed to get her in the car to go back and forth which is no small task since Soda is terrified of the car. All of this incredible kindness and professionalism took place under extraordinary circumstances since their family was going through major things at the time. We are so grateful to have found him and will definitely be grateful to be able to work with them again. No restrictions on furniture or beds.

In addition, I worked at a children’s hospital where I served as a dog handler for a golden retriever on the pediatric hematology/oncology unit. About: I take extreme measures to ensure your pet is properly harnessed and not put into a scenario where they would feel in harms way. I listen well to what the owner says works and does not and follows those rules closely. I enjoy seeing a dog happy and healthy on long walks outside. I currently work full-time, and see weekend pet sitting as the most ideal scenario. However, I am available on evenings around 7 pm for feeding should that be needed. I currently have two indoor cats that are allowed access to an outdoor balcony with harnesses and leashes. I am comfortable going on walks with leashed dogs and any variation of letting the dog out back based on their owner’s wishes.

About: I grew up surrounded by farms and stray cats having babies on my porch that we would often take in. Most of the time my childhood home was full of 2 border collie dogs and 4-6 adopted cats. I’ve had experience taking care of my amazing family dog for the last nine years, a playful poodle mix who loves to run around in our yard! About: I am incredibly observant and mindful of pets ways of communicating. There are times they tell us something but can be easily missed if not watching for it. I have grown that skill over the years making me a great match with animals of all personalities. I don’t work Friday-Sunday so those days are relatively free! I am someone who makes it work so really just chatting through times is easiest. In my home it would be walk and activity focused as I am in an apartment- and I am easily adaptable for any of your pets needs.

After gaining experience as a pet sitter, I landed a job at a family-owned pet store that specialized in upscale food and supplies. In my 13 years managing the store, I had the pleasure of interacting with countless animals and their humans, helping them find the perfect food, treats, toys, and training tools to ensure their overall health and contentment. My daytime work allows for flexible scheduling, especially earlier in the week. “Five stars is not enough for Benjamin! He, and his beautiful family (of humans and dogs) went over and above to take care of our golden retriever, Soda. When we went for our meet and greet we didn’t want to leave. Their fenced in yard and the welcoming kind vibe made Soda and me (her human) feel instantly comfortable and at ease. Benjamin sent photos and videos of her girl having the time of her life while we were away almost 2 weeks. And he managed to get her in the car to go back and forth which is no small task since Soda is terrified of the car. All of this incredible kindness and professionalism took place under extraordinary circumstances since their family was going through major things at the time. We are so grateful to have found him and will definitely be grateful to be able to work with them again.
