We are also located right on the Catawba River so I love taking walks down to the beach area! A lot of dogs live in the neighborhood if your pup is interested in playing with others!

We can accept drop ins starting 8 am and pick ups no later than 10 pm. We live in a townhome with paved walkways and a dog park. Pets have full access to our home. No restrictions on furniture or beds.

I currently have a cat of my own and have years of experience caring for animals of all ages, breeds, and sizes. Throughout high school and college, I regularly cared for neighbors and family friends pets while they were away, and many families referred me to others through word of mouth. In addition, I worked at a children’s hospital where I served as a dog handler for a golden retriever on the pediatric hematology/oncology unit. About: I take extreme measures to ensure your pet is properly harnessed and not put into a scenario where they would feel in harms way. I listen well to what the owner says works and does not and follows those rules closely. I enjoy seeing a dog happy and healthy on long walks outside. I currently work full-time, and see weekend pet sitting as the most ideal scenario. However, I am available on evenings around 7 pm for feeding should that be needed. I currently have two indoor cats that are allowed access to an outdoor balcony with harnesses and leashes. I am comfortable going on walks with leashed dogs and any variation of letting the dog out back based on their owner’s wishes.

“It was great to leave our husky, Zoro with Spencer, who appears to skillfully handled dog. He has huge back and front yards, all fenced. He owns four friendly dogs, vaccinated and appear to be well trained. Zoro was allowed to stay at home freely with other dogs at night. During his stay we kept receiving updates with photos. If you have a high energy dog, I highly recommend Spencer.”

She clearly loves dogs and my pup was well taken care of. Although there are always multiple dogs at her house, she is excellent at managing them all together and making sure each dog gets the individual attention he/she needs.”

“Wendy was great with Maverick, she opened her whole house to him. She has a fenced in yard, which is great for an explorer like Maverick. He was immediately comfortable and I know he was in good hands. He chewed some of her personal items and she wasn’t bothered by it. Wendy and her husband clearly care about the dogs they care for. Wendy also sent pictures every day. Maverick didn’t want to leave.”
