“We needed to leave Roughy for 4 days. Mary and Dan were great. This was Roughy's first time staying with them. They have a huge fenced in yard that Roughy appeared to love. He isn't used to being off the leash. He ran around the yard barking at the cars going by (which were pretty far away) and got some good exercise. Although he was sad that we left him, Mary and Dan took great care of him and made him feel at home. They were willing to let him sleep in the bed with them which I think made him feel safe. They sent a picture or a video each day and were quick to keep in touch when we messaged them. He was happy to see us when we got back, but I think he had a good time with them and I would go back to them again.”

About: I have pet sit dogs of all sizes over the past 12 years. I am happy to walk your dog or play a game of fetch. I'm also happy to check in on them and spend some time giving belly rubs and cuddles when you can't. I work a flexible part time job. I have time weekdays mornings, afternoons, and evenings to drop in for a walk or give some love to your pet. I will come to your house for walks and play sessions. I can crate your dog when I leave if needed. I can be flexible if you have a special request.
About: I had a dog from the age of 10 to 25 when she passed away. We have two boys who love animals. We had fun helping take care of my parents dog when they would travel. We would try to teach her new tricks. It gives us an excuse to get out of the house and take walks. I work full time until June 7th and then I’m home all summer. We have a small fenced in area and then a large common area behind our house. We live in a neighborhood where we take daily walks. We are always outside. Nick works from home on Fridays, but works 7 minutes away and can come home during lunch to check on the dog and take him/her for a walk. We are usually home between 2:00 and 3:00. Our weekends are pretty much free. Taking care of dogs easily fits into our family schedule. We try to spend as much time outside as possible, so we would bring the dog on our walks and runs. We do not have a fenced in yard, but we have a small fenced in area out back. We are in a quiet, dog friendly neighborhood.

About: With 15 years of animal care, I know I can handle any assignment needed. I started dog sitting, long term, when I was 16 years old. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes, whatever you need I’m here to do the job right. My schedule is fairly flexible, I drive school bus during the day to keep my little one with me. About: I have had dogs my whole life, and I often pet sit for friends and family. When I am visiting anyone with a dog they typically get most of my attention! I work full time during the week, however I am free most all day on Saturdays and Sundays. I do have some evening availability during the week from 5 pm to 8 pm. Your dog will receive my full attention, love and care whether that’s a walk, a drop-in, or a cozy boarding stay at my home. In my home, dogs are free to explore and feel at home. I have a large yard where they can enjoy fresh air and outdoor time throughout the day. I love being outside and regularly take dogs to the local nature preserve for walks and hikes. I have a smoke free home and can accommodate crating if needed. I never give treats without owner approval and always clean up immediately. At your home, I show up with the same level of care and attention. Throughout every visit I send photos and updates with the same level of care and attention. I’ve been told I should be a dog photographer so expect some really great pictures of your baby!
About: I've been dog walking and pet-sitting since 12 years old and have always had interest in caring for animals. As an adult, I have been employed at SPCA working with dogs and cats of all sizes and status, and currently work as a veterinary receptionist. I love and care for every animal that comes into my care, and would be thrilled to meet your pets! About: When I was 8 my father surprised me with our first ever dog Harley! I fell in love instantly and am so grateful to have grown up with him in our family. When I grew older I took on more rolls taking care of Harley which gave me basic experience in pet care. When he was a senior dog I learned a lot through his medical issues like how to handle medicine and emergency vet visits. “We needed to leave Roughy for 4 days. Mary and Dan were great. This was Roughy's first time staying with them. They have a huge fenced in yard that Roughy appeared to love. He isn't used to being off the leash. He ran around the yard barking at the cars going by (which were pretty far away) and got some good exercise. Although he was sad that we left him, Mary and Dan took great care of him and made him feel at home. They were willing to let him sleep in the bed with them which I think made him feel safe. They sent a picture or a video each day and were quick to keep in touch when we messaged them. He was happy to see us when we got back, but I think he had a good time with them and I would go back to them again.”
